I've been following Frosty's on IG for a while, but they're only open at the weekend, so limited ability to get there. Anyway, it's a very cute bakery, but no seating, so plan to take your treat somewhere else to enjoy. They have a variety of really unique flavors on their open days, but no backup, so if you want something specific, get there earlier! I had a lemon cookie butter cake slice, which was a very unique combination! They balanced the 2 flavors really well, it wasn't overwhelmingly either flavor. The slice was really big, I think I ate it for 3 days, but it was priced for a giant slice too, at about $12. I want to go back for ice cream - the hard scoop flavors look fun, but I'm a soft serve girl and they have a different flavor every weekend. The day I was there the flavors were banana and chocolate, which didn't appeal to me, but I'm sure plenty of people enjoy it! read more

The place is small cute and looks very clean. The staff was nice and friendly. I got a cookie butter cupcake.(haven't tried it yet.) and their peach pie cake slice. The cake was very moist and delicious. I will say I do feel like the frosting was just a tad bit too sweet but still really light and fluffy. I will definitely be trying this place out again. I come here nearly every time I'm in town. The hard serve ice cream here is to-die-for. I've recently also tried the vanilla soft serve and oh boy... it think this place could make a person forget about all their excuses to not be vegan. Not to mention, the staff here so super friendly, the storefront has the cutest old-timey parlor vibe, & the owners/ staff truly listen to their customers input and suggestions. Incredible vegan cakes! Not only are they creative and delicious, the rotating menu means there's always something new to try. The storefront is decorated beautifully a retro feel to it, but the only downside is there is no seating area. I'm not vegan, but the cakes and ice cream here are excellent. I like to get the affogato with vanilla ice cream, and sometimes either the Jaritos or bottled cola, and occasionally I'll get a chocolate cupcake, all of which were delicious. I hope to see this place get more recognition, because for what it is, this place is spotlessly clean and the service is extremely nice. However, the only thing that I might expect to change is their opening days, Friday through Sunday, 12 to 7 p.m. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys local desserts and ice cream. read more

Checked this place out during their Grand Opening weekend. While the service was not friendly, the cupcake I tried was good - not the best I've had, but it was good. Then when I found out it was 100% vegan, I was impressed. Considered getting a few slices of cake, but then I thought about all the germs and dust they were probably collecting sitting on top the counter all day - I don't know how that's but a health code violation! I happen to be a co-worker with one of the partners in this venture, so with full disclosure I wanted to check it out as we had some folks over the house this evening. Tried 2 different cookies (Oatmeal Raisin and Birthday), 2 different cupcakes (Chocolate Strawberry and Vanilla Blueberry), 2 brownies (Peanut Butter and Cookie Dough) and 2 slices of cake (Funfetti and Chocolate Raspberry). Ok, everything was fabulous, rock solid. Seriously, and not because I know one of the partners in the business, this lady has entered and represents the top class of bakeries that Lakewood offers (i.e. KB Confections, Fear's Confections, Elmwood Bakery, Blackbird (although a different product here) and let's throw Kelsey Elizabeth's from Rocky River in here. Yes, there is a new player in the game. And they are prepared to play at the highest of levels.. I took a forkful or two out of everything and across the board everything was excellent. Love the fact that they sell slices of cake! I think that is a major coo for them. And we are not talking Mom's basic Sunday Coconut Cream Cake. No, pure elegance, triple layered, grenache filled, cakes. You could see the pics for yourself. I think they had four or five choices. Note: As of now they are only open Friday - Sunday 12 - 7pm. I could see that changing as the requests will probably come in droves. Also, they tout themselves as all vegan (they also sell ice cream - vegan choices). I am not vegan, so that was not a factor. If anything, I find it more impressive that they produce such sensational products with some of teh vegan restrictions. Yes, I highly recommend this place. Yes, I will be going back there very soon. The best cake I've ever had! This cake was so good and reminded me instantly of my childhood birthday cakes - so much so that as soon as I took my first bite, I actually started crying! They had a bunch of cupcake flavors, cookies, brownies and of course - cake slices. I had the vanilla with strawberry filling - I wish I had gotten 10! Even an hour before close on a Sunday, they had a bunch of goodies left. The cake slice was thick and came in a box with a spoon/fork.
