I visited in April 2023 (see my PHOTOS below) and I've been back maybe twice after that. In April 2023, I ordered a small vanilla ice-cream with butterfinger and Oreo on top. I recently visited again in July 2024 and I ordered a small DAIRY FREE vanilla ice-cream topped with butterfinger pieces and peanut butter cup pieces ($3.50). It was simple and delicious. There are of options to choose from so I'm sure you'll find something you like. Customer service is always friendly and quick. My husband and I came on a Friday around 7:30. Lots of parking in the lot behind. My husband got the Cleveland Shuffle and definitely for the PB lover. Love a place where you can customize your dessert for however mood you're feeling. If you love the way your milk tastes after eating your cereal, you'll be a fan of remixx! As soon as you walk to the storefront, you're immediately welcomed with bold, bright colors and fun decor. It got me so excited about all the combinations I could choose from! I love a chocolate/fruit pairing so I decided to do a chocolate base to pair with the berry crunch cereal. I always have to get brownie bites and cheesecake pieces, if offered. Since I wanted something more fruity, I topped it with a strawberry drizzle. I got a mini size in a cup, but that was still a shareable amount if you're already full. You could also opt for a shake version, which is much easier to travel with since you don't have the mix ins added on top too. They have a "top 10 Playlist" of pre-set combos, if you prefer but I enjoyed getting to pick my own! Parking is street parking in front or a small lot in the back of Flower Child. Concept is fantastic mixing ice cream with cereal. Located on Clifton st in Lakewood, there is street parking and I think there is a parking lot for it nearby too! I ordered the regular $7 cup with vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, vanilla wafers, cookie crisps, and whipped cream. Taste was great and I have nothing against that. However the price point of this type of ice cream is the same price as getting a sandwich or chipotle. The seems just a little expensive considering I only got two vanilla wafers and most of the toppings were all on the top as seen in picture, the rest is just ice cream pretty much (which is a simple vanilla, they only offer chocolate and vanilla). Fun, innovative and delicious! I wanted to give 5-stars but was disappointed in the service. The concept of ice cream and cereal is genius, especially when you pair it with musical inspiration. Great location, easy to get too, outdoor seating available for warm nights and radiator heat cranked up for cold nights...loved it. I opted for a little chocolate ice cream and cookie crunch combo, it was delicious without being too sugary. Now for the lack of 5-stars, the service. The evening of our visit the girls behind the counter were short with customers, expressing their dislike of wearing aprons and having their hair pulled back. They blamed several kids for not making work enjoyable, why couldn't they just stick to the menu. I could add a few more lines, but I will stop there. I really wanted to like Remixx, but this place was a total letdown from start to finish. The line was out the door, which I thought was a good sign -- until I realized it was because they're completely understaffed and the workers don't seem to have a clue what they're doing. Orders were taking forever and getting messed up left and right. As for the ice cream itself? Not good. The texture is weirdly grainy, and the flavor is totally underwhelming. They only offer chocolate, vanilla, or swirl -- that's it. No creativity or variety, despite all the hype. The only "twist" is the cereal mix-ins, which honestly don't add much. It feels like they're just trying to distract from the fact that the ice cream itself isn't great. Once you eat through the layer of toppings, you're left with bland, oddly textured ice cream that just doesn't taste good. Between the chaos behind the counter and the mediocre product, I won't be coming back. There are way better spots for a treat in town. read more

Ambiance: Came here with some friends around 8 pm on Saturday and there was a big rush of maybe 10 people that came in afterwards. The staff were very professional though and steadily worked on orders while communicating with people in line and telling them they appreciate the patience. The place itself is modern and well decorated, not too noisy and not too quiet. Seating can be a little scarce when they get busy and be warned there is a radiant heater in the front that can make your legs very toasty if it's running when you sit by it. Food: I think there's a lot of fun that can be had with their extensive mix in options but it can also be paralyzing when there is a big line behind you. It might be helpful to have the mix ins further sub-divided into fruits, cereals, candies, etc but maybe that's my compulsive organizer coming out :P We ended up sticking with their recommended s'more and strawberry fields options for our first time here and thoroughly enjoyed them. The base ice cream is just plain good but the addition of cereal, cheesecake, and other ingredients added fun textures to make the dessert feel special. It reminded me of going to a Cold Stone for the first time but with a fun retro/childhood twist. Overall we had a very chill time here and would gladly come back. read more

The ice cream is delicious as always and the staff is friendly. I've been going since they first opened and unfortunately this year there is no consistency with training. I always get the dairy bowl in which there is one size. I ordered two. When I ordered the second one, she asked me which size, which I again mentioned there was only one size. The girl next to her agreed. When I got the bowls, they were two different sizes. I told her dairy free comes one size. A different girl said there's two and the girl training said there's one. I was eager to try this as I saw that they have a non dairy ice cream option. My boyfriend and I both ordered a Regular Mixx bowl, which includes 4 mixx treats. Tried this place and was very impressed by how cute it was. It has beautiful art work as well as awesome holiday decor. I ordered 2 items and they were super accommodating. I wanted cones, but had to get them To go, so they packaged it nicely with cones on the side. The ice cream was blended terrifically and tasted delicious. Our cones were also really tasty and fun! The employee who made mine forgot to put in one of my mix-ins, and I thought the overall flavor was kind of plain. I will say the advertising is what got me there. I was ready for the cute photo opp but my ice cream was far from cute and looked nothing like the IG post. That being said the ice cream was good. It is regular vanilla flavor and that crazy machine they have blends everything up very fine. So your vanilla ice ice cream ends up having the flavor of everything you mix into it. Sunday afternoon, 80 degrees in September, ICE CREAM TIME! walked in and they were practicing social distancing so very happy off bat. It was a very pleasant and inviting aesthetic in there, nice decor, easy to read menu. All the ingredients are basically in front of you, you can either choose a premade flavor or you can mix your own. I decided to go with something that was on their top selling menu, I went with the sweet symphony and added some cheesecake bites to it since those are my fave! You get a pretty big portion in a cup for $6 so on the value chart it's a yes for me! You can either get a cup, a cone or make your mixture a milkshake. Pretty cool eh? Ok on to flavor, I don't think mine was mixed completely because I had chunks of wafers and then a huge amount of what I think was vanilla bean at the bottom. It was sprinkled with more Frosted Flakes and a yummy marshmallow sauce. Fun in my mouth! ( don't be dirty)... While I get the idea and I like how they thought it out I was a little confused with ordering, and I was also confused because I wasn't sure if you got ice cream and if so what flavor? There was no indication of non-dairy or vegan items which I think is something they should explore since a lot of people are lactose intolerant or vegan. If you're in the neighborhood this is a for sure place to check out but I wouldn't go out of my way to get back here.
