Out of all the times that I've been to Epcot, I've only ridden the Maelstrom ride probably once. I just never felt the need to ride it again. Having gone on this Frozen version, it definitely has more of an appeal. That appeal however is dependent on how much you have enjoyed the movie. If you couldn't tolerate the songs in the movie, you will probably want to skip this ride. For me, I liked the movie, so I most likely will be going on this ride again in future visits. read more

"You are not the first to pass this way. Nor shall you be the last." Alas, I was among some of the few who were on the ride during the final days of Maelstrom. We all remember how upset people were over the closing of the ride, but I tried DESPERATELY to like Frozen. I waited a long time to get on this ride. And last night, the stars finally aligned with a 35 minute wait time before my Canada dinner reservation. So we stood in line with the most obnoxious kids on the planet- this probably led to some of the disappointment, but definetely not all. First, we noticed that the queue and boats were not really much different than Maelstrom. When we got on the ride we realized (and expected) it was the same track, and while nothing was left from the original ride, there was nothing great about this ride. It looked like it was put together in a rush for the crazy Frozen trend. The animatronics are creepy. Not much detail and not much to look at. I was happy the drop was still there but legit this was lame. At best. The takeaway. This ride is about 90 seconds. I literally have no idea why people would wait longer than half an hour for this. Even that is pushing it. I also feel that this has no business being in Epcot, but in Magic Kingdom. And, I'm upset that Maelstrom is no more. This is a great ride for fans of movies. I highly enjoyed it though the way they had the faces moving was a little bizarre to me and kinda jarring to be honest. I really liked all the different scenes we went through and thought it was a fun ride. I'm not sure I'd ever be willing to wait two hours to ride it though. read more

I'm no Frozen fan but, this ride will make you happily ever after. Located in Epcot's Norway Pavilion. We got fast passes to begin with and I'm glad we did, the standby wait time was 95 minutes. You make a trip inside a Viking ship then, you travel through Arendelle, with a blend of animatronics and movie soundtrack. I haven't seen the movie in its entirely, but I'm sure its small snippets of the film are being portrayed here like many other Disney rides. The thrill of it all starts when you encounter the snow monster then, the ride leads into a small forward drop. The best part was toward the end when Elsa pushes your boat, then you go backwards while the soundtrack of "Let it go" plays, its an awesome experience that it'll get you to sing along. My son who's not a fan of forward drops, instantly became a fan of this ride. In the end of he didn't want to get off of his seat and whined about wanting to ride again. Even though the ride time is short. The concept is pure genius, that would make you want more. There aren't many rides in Epcot to get excited for. Frozen Ever After should be top priority on the list when making a plan for your day. read more

So I'm sure we all go to Disney for the magic and happiness portrayed by the cast members. Frozen Ever After is a great ride for this, but while I was visiting yesterday, I had a horrible time because of Shelby. My family and I (party of 4) were sent to the back row. Upon boarding, she kept repeating to sit down so the ride could get going. Perfectly fine right? Well, my dad has had knee surgery and has trouble bending his knees at 90° quickly. She repeated her statement, and we also realized all four of us wouldn't be able to fit. My mom got out and went to talk with her to tell her the situation and she quickly disregards her and in a mean tone says "Go talk to my friend" without looking at her. What a rude and unprofessional cast member who completely ruined the rest of the day. I mean, I guess if I was cooped in all day I would be low tempered, but this attitude is not what Disney looks for in their cast members. read more

I went to see this show while waiting for end fireworks as I had a late time fast pass. One of the "bigger" rides in Epcot, I thought it was fairly decent. Is it worth the 1-2 hour wait? Nah. But it's cute and I like Frozen. If you're a fan of the movie, definitely this is something you need to ride. A lot of animatronics throughout the little boat ride. If I'm correct, this is one of the newer rides at Epcot. The animation, lighting and sound projection is fantastic. You truly feel you are with your favorite frozen characters going on an adventure! Although the characters tell a story along the way, it's not just a gentle boat ride. You get a surprise dip at the end (hold on!) that was so surprising and made me want to stand in line to do it all over again! P.S. I'm pretty sure I teared up watching the characters sing (and what felt like they were singing to you! I'm a sap, okay?) This ride was executed so well. This was my first time to Epcot so I never went on the original, but it always sounded kind of random and not terribly representative of Norway anyway so I'm not bothered by the thematic changes. Even though it's obvious the faces are projected, I much preferred the look of this ride to the Little Mermaid ride at Magic Kingdom. When you're far enough away the "makeup line" (that's what the effect reminds me of) isn't that noticeable, and it's pretty impressive. The "Let it Go" segment was my favorite part. Between rushing backward down a drop as the song crescendos, and the snowflakes, and the mist, it's pretty affecting. The indoor queue is loving as well with the teal and purple lanterns, even though air vents interrupt the night sky effect. The ride could be a little smoother, too, but otherwise, it won me over. read more

I took my 2 year old on this ride. I'm glad they're making these dark rides a little more interactive. There is a tiny little drop at the end which is cool for babies. They get to experience their first mini roller coaster. Definitely worth coming early to the park and waiting in line for. read more

This may come as a shock considering I'm the only one... but I don't like Frozen (lol), so I wasn't thrilled about this ride but it's one of the very few rides that are in the 11 international countries. This ride is hidden in the Norway pavilion. There isn't much detail and decor in the rooms, where the ride takes you. But of course, it plays the infamous songs "Do you Want to Build A Snowman?" and "Let it Go". I do like that this is a faster paced ride however, where you go down backwards and can get slightly wet. read more

Easily the best ride at Epcot. Why aren't all of Epcot's attractions of this caliber? Attractions like Turtle Talk and Spaceship Earth are so old and irrelevant it's ridiculous. Anyway, here you get a little rehash of some Frozen movie bits and you get a mini flume experience too. Nice all around. My kids were thrilled. Wait times can be very long, so definitely use a fast pass if you can. I was trying to get a spot for a week prior to our trip but only managed to find one at the last second. It was a few months after we became annual passholders before I was able to nab a Fast Pass online for this ride 30 DAYS ahead of a visit to EPCOT! There was no way I was going to suffer through the Stand-By wait time. So we Fast Passed it and it was - uh - okay. The abundance of purples in the decor was a treat to behold and it was a pleasant enough ride. But the experience was not impressive enough for me to be tempted to pass up Soarin' on a Fast Pass to do Frozen again. I guess the long wait times are a testament to how many Frozen fans there are out there. I almost wish they brought back Maelstrom. Frozen Ever After is like the Peter Pan ride at Magic Kingdom - fine, but Fast Pass it if possible. read more

I wanted to hate this ride. I will go to my grave thinking that Maelstrom should never have been replaced. I was a classic, quirky part of Epcot for decades. A ride based on a fantasy movie seems like it should be located in, I don't know, maybe a kingdom of magic? Or how about a studio dedicated to Hollywood? With that being said I am capable to keeping an open mind and judging it on its on merit. Frozen fans are going to lose their minds about this ride. I was actually quite curious to see how they would make use of the Maelstrom track and interior. With Maelstrom you would line up on the right and enter the boats on the left. The boat would immediately turn left and go up a lift hill. When the ride was over you would walk through a movie theater that showed a short film about Norway that you really didn't need to ever see more than once. It was disorienting entering the building again because now you line up on the left and board the boats on the right. When the boat went around the corner it was even more apparent that this was a new path. The animatronics in the ride were actually quite impressive. The snowman had an impressive range of motion. The humans had projected faces and were an expected evolution from the Seven Dwarfs ride (and light years beyond the mannequins in the Little Mermaid ride). Eventually the boat turned a corner and we hit that familiar lift hill and met up with the old path that Maelstrom took. Those of you who went on Maelstrom know what happens after that. I felt the way that they incorporated this ride mechanic with Frozen was perfect. If Maelstrom was going to be replaced I'd want the new ride to be something excellent (unlike what happened with Journey into Imagination). I feel that's what happened here. I couldn't care less about Frozen and was entertained and impressed. I can't imagine how happy this must be making people that are crazy about the movie. My fingers are crossed that the Imagination Pavilion is next to be transformed. read more

Frozen Ever After is a great addition to EPCOT! We're annual pass holders and finally were able to get a fast pass to the attraction, I guess the new is finally starting to gradually wear off (thank goodness!) Frozen is located in the Norway pavilion, in the former Maelstrom location. The attraction is in a boat and I think on a free track. It goes through the Frozen story and the Frozen ever after story, and is beautifully done. The track goes in reverse and really steps up the game for a Disney World boat attraction. When we were there, the wait time for stand by was 80 minutes. I would say definitely try the ride if you can get it for 30 minutes or less (not very likely), or if you can get a fast pass for it. Otherwise, it's not worth the wait. read more

Let me just say that I'm not a fan of Frozen. One of my friends ruined that for me with her obsession. But because it was a new ride for Epcot I'd figured I'd do it just once. It's close to impossible to get a fastpass for it so that meant standing in line...for 90 mins. My friends and I were fine with that as we played games and talked to the others in line as well. When we finally got on the ride I was ready. I did enjoy seeing all of the animatronics and the ride backwards in the boat after seeing Elsa, even the small dip towards the end but I wished that the ride was longer. Don't get me wrong I loved Maelstrom and I certainly was apprehensive about Frozen invading the World Showcase but I think overall they did a great job. The area is still true to Norway and the Frozen explosion doesn't occur until the ride and gift shop. My husband is a big Frozen fan, so we set out attempting to ride it on opening day. We got there two hours before closing; we had seen online the 3+ hour wait times and crowds and we were hoping to avoid them. Sadly, when we got there they had closed the stand by line for the day and were only letting in fast pass. We stayed nonetheless, hanging out in the pavilion and 10 minutes before closing, a manager gave us fast passes to ride right then and there. Yay!!!! The ride is little longer than Maelstrom was, there are two more rooms; now you get on and off the boat in the same place. Overall the ride is beautiful!! The animatronics are incredible! They move so smoothly and the character's faces are projected on them so they look more life like. The music is the same as the movie, but some lines have been changed to go along with the story of you visiting Elsa in her ice castle. The ride track is the same, so you still get to go backwards and then down a short drop. My favorite room by far was Elsa's castle as she's singing Let it Go. The lighting effects are amazing! I had chills! I'm so glad we got to ride opening day. It was so pretty and now I can wait for the hype to die down before riding again. read more

WOW! This ride is gorgeous! Honestly, if you have the 90 minutes to wait, I highly recommend you go on this ride. I'm a HUGE Frozen fan, so I was very excited to get on this ride (but you know, not after waiting 5 hours) and I'm so happy I got the chance to do so. This ride has been done beautifully, all of the animatronics are gorgeous and very realistic looking. The faces are projected on so they look very life-like. Everything makes you feel like you're right there in Arendele and it's spectacular. The decorations are just fantastic and very true to the movie. Oh, and the length of the ride is worth it too. It's not too short but not too long either, it's perfect! There's two drops in the ride, so look out for those, they're exciting! Honestly, if you get the chance to catch the waiting time at 90 minutes or less, wait for it. This is now my NEW favorite ride at Disney World. Can't wait to go back and ride it! read more

Frozen Ever After took the place of the Maelstrom ride in EPCOT's Norway pavilion. The line snakes through a pretty village setting and through Oaken's trading post ( we were disappointed that the line finally started to move quickly the moment we stepped inside Oaken's place as it was more interesting than the village.) We had never been on the Maelstrom, but I understand this was mostly re-skinned from that (although didn't the Maelstrom hang out over the sidewalk at one point? It was entirely contained inside here.) The re-working of the previous ride could explain that while there are a lot of characters from Frozen along the way, you only hear bits and pieces of all the favorite songs. Understandable, and probably merciful, but it made for a pretty boring ride. Little kids will enjoy waving at Elsa, and they get an extra point for knowing that, but that is all this ride is good for. read more

I went into this attraction skeptical... afterall it replaced my beloved Maelstrom and I was there and rode the former attraction on its last night in existence but I am ecstatic to report that Frozen Ever After does not disappoint. Board a ship and set sail for Arendelle to see the entire Frozen family in the form of the most breathtaking animatronics I've seen Disney produce. Words can not do justice to how beautiful they are, and not just them: this entire attraction is gorgeous. Photos and video don't do it justice and I encourage you to keep that phone in your pocket and take everything in the ride has to offer (this ride shouldn't be experienced through your small screen but rather first hand engaging all your senses). There is an on-ride photo that syncs to your Magic Band automatically as well. Frozen Ever After uses the same ride system as Maelstrom and does so in an incredibly well crafted way. I don't want to give anything away but for whatever reason this attraction does feel longer and more immersive than Maelstrom ever did. This is definitely THE attraction to use that FastPass on as wait times skyrocket quite quickly and while the rest of World Showcase opens at 11a this pavilion/attraction does open at 9a for all you rope drop guests. "Do you wanna build a snowman?" No, I wanna ride Frozen Ever After again and again and again. Okay, bye. read more

For all that I love Frozen, Elsa and her advice, this ride was a solid 4 Stars for me. The attraction is located down the pathway from Akershus in the Norway Pavilion of Epcot. The location was formerly "Maelstrom", which was a similar style attraction, but never rode it. Anywho, it was very cute and I would definitely wait in line for this one again, but I'd highly recommend a fast pass because the lines get VERY long. Water Warning: YOU CAN GET WET! I was not exactly pleased by that because we sat in the front and it was a Floridian day in which it was hot and humid with friggin rain sporadically. Not the day i wanted to be wet and then sticky after.... Let's move on to the pros about this ride since that was the only con haha, Oh, well that and it kinda breaks down like 3 times a day because the track is the same as the old ride *insert heavy eye roll* This attraction is so adorable it's not even funny! The queue line has so many cute little animations, little businesses in Arendelle(like the Chisel and Pick), a proclamation from Queen Elsa, and the daily weather report! Theres an outdoor area, inside the ride that has little overhead lanterns so it looks like you are in the Royal Courtyard at night. This area is fairly chilly if you end up having to wait in here for a bit, which we had to do as well, you guessed it, the ride broke down for about 45 minutes. One of the other things that I loved about this ride, other then the Scandinavian winter backdrop, is that all of the cast members are from Norway! I hadn't realized that as we'd walked around the pavilion, so this was something fun to me! The ride takes you through Arendelle, and the forest to the North Mountain. Along the way you'll see familar faces, Anna and Kristoff, Sven with Olaf even Marshmallow! When you get to the Ice Palace, you finally get to see her royal highness, Queen Elsa! Theres a magic moment here that will shock you, so I won't ruin the magic, but then you're headed down hill where you might get wet! So if you're front row, make sure you're not holding on to valuables. The ride ends as you say goodbye to Marshmallow again and you're taken back to the docks of Arendelle(^_^) I really enjoyed this ride as i do love Frozen and Elsa. I'd say try to go at the end of the night, say 20 minutes before park closing or head straight there at rope drop to avoid waiting for hours on end. You know the movie is popular with kids, so they're definitely dragging their parents to it, BEAT THEM THERE!! haha. No but seriously. Great way to cool off, and enjoyable attraction for anyone who loves Frozen. Keep in mind that fast passes do go quickly, so if you're able to book in advance, do so. It helps a lot. If Frozen doesn't do anything for you, give the ride a chance so you can at least say ya did it!!! :D read more

I'm not a huge frozen fan, but I do like frozen. I would not wait in line for 5 hours for this ride, but again I'm not a huge frozen fan. I'm sure die hard fans will wait that long for this ride. Anyways, we were able to do a fast pass on this ride, with fast pass it took about 20 mins ish. But then again better than 3+ hours. But luckily for die hard frozen fans, the line inside is air condition. The boats were really cute. The ride was more than I expected. If you're at Epcot, I would recommend this ride WITH a fast pass. They did a really great job with animation! Very clean inside, very beautiful! I love the ice crystals! The ride also takes you backwards at a fast pace so brace yourself! read more

This is a cute ride for kids, but hey isn't everyone that goes to any Disney park a kid to some degree? Some of us more than others. Nothing too scary for the young ones., maybe riding backwards for a couple of minutes may get the heart pumping a little. Rest assured that there are no waterfalls other other sudden drops in the ride. The ride starts on a replica Viking ship. Riders are greeted with Olaf & Sven at the beginning of the ride and after passing through a curtain come across Kristoff, Anna and Olaf singing. Turning the next corner is Elsa on an overhead bridge singing her trademark song. The boat turns and you ride backwards to the Snowman. After re-righting the boat it rides down a gradual slope, through a fog resembling the snowman's cold breath. As the boat nears the end Rlsa and Anna are together singing a good bye tune. About a 90 second ride after a long wait. Fast passing this one will make it worthwhile. read more

Possibly the most magical ride in Walt Disney World. It's a stunning boat ride featuring everyone's favorite Frozen characters amid the gorgeous backdrop of a Scandinavian winter. You do not want to miss this ride. Warning: you might get wet. I am in awe of the animatronics here. Compared to the animatronics in say, The Little Mermaid ride, these ones are unbelievably advanced. That combined with the unforgettable Frozen soundtrack and glittering props makes me cry every time I ride. It's so good. Even the queue is a delight! The building is so well-themed that guests wonder if they're waiting indoors or out. Even though this ride is pure magic, I wouldn't wait more than 50 minutes for it. It's far too short of a ride to make up for the excessive waiting. Even Fastpass holders wait an average of 15 minutes. So I'm knocking the rating to 4 stars for the obnoxious wait times and short ride time. How to ride Frozen Ever After without a Fastpass: fastwalk to this attraction as soon as the park opens. Epcot often admits guests 15 minutes prior to the scheduled park opening time, so plan to be at the park entrance early. If all goes well according to this plan, you won't have to wait more than 20 minutes. Alternatively, skip the nighttime fireworks (which aren't as spectacular as the other parks' fireworks) and get in line minutes before Epcot's closing time. You won't wait more than 10 minutes. read more

I think the "animatronics" are blank dummy heads with a projection of their faces, they looked weird to me. There was something was off about them. Frozen Ever After was terrific! It is by far the best attraction at Epcot and really sets the standard for Disney rides. I went straight to the ride in the morning and waited only about 30 minutes. The animatronics were so life-like and the drops were fun. The music wasn't as annoying as I assumed it would be and the whole ride experience is very solid. I will definitely miss Maelstrom but this is finally an attraction to talk about at Epcot! read more

Be aware that this is no way to avoid getting wet. Once the boats have been around the track, the seats are wet and you can't avoid sitting in water. If you are at the side of the boat, you will get splashed as well. If you're okay with this, great, but not everyone will be comfortable with wet pants or a wet princess dress. The ride is cute and the animatronics are very well done. Overall, though, it just doesn't have the detailing I expect from this type of Disney ride. Compared to "Pirates of the Caribbean" at the Magic Kingdom, or even the "Gran Fiesta" boat ride (5 minute wait) at the nearby Mexico showcase, it seems sparse. I'm glad I didn't use a Fastpass for this, and I'm really glad we got here early in the day and didn't have to stand in line very long. read more

The ride was so underwhelming. It was definitely NOT worth the wait AT ALL. Talk about a rush job there was basically nothing special about it. Probably trying to capitalize off the movie more than they already have as fast as they could. Starts off nice (just like the movie) but what I was expecting was something like the Little Mermaid ride, which was done perfect, I got a jumbled mess. It doesn't follow the story of Frozen, which I guess wasn't the point but I don't really understand what the story of the ride was in itself. There are a lot of parts where the area that you're riding around in has nothing, like it was bland, the animatronics don't move much other than the faces that are projected which is fine I guess and I wouldn't mind if they had the robots move more. Not a lot happens. You enter with Olaf, drift a bit, run into Anna and Kristoff singing which was honestly the only good part to me, drift a bit, run into Elsa, she does her let it go bit which falls short, she just stands there as she sings while screens projects her moving around and singing and maybe a bit of lights for the magic. This needed a lot more magic to make it look nice and genuine. She sends the boat backwards and you run into the giant snow monster, marshmallow, from the movie and the little snowmen from the short and he sends you down another path. you see Olaf a couple more times and then him, Anna and Elsa singing summer (but mostly Olaf) and that's it. On the walls there's not much to look when you decide to look around. I'm very disappointed with this ride. I came to watch Anna and Elsa with Kristoff and some Olaf cause he is expected, not "Olaf Steals the Show". We waited an hour and a half and that's time I'm not gonna get back. I'm mostly disappointed for the kids cause this is who the ride is supposed to be for and the ride is honestly forgettable. Don't know why everyone is praising it. read more

My family thought I was 100% crazy when I forced them to book it STRAIGHT to Norway as soon as we got into Epcot, but I knew that getting a chance to ride Frozen Ever After was a now-or-never situation. I was unable to secure a FastPass for the ride and knew that even on relatively slow days at Epcot, the standby wait times for the ride can get up to 60-90 minutes. Luckily, heading straight there when we arrived meant our wait was only about 30 minutes, and the line moves pretty steadily so it wasn't too boring to stand in line, even with a 15-month-old and 3-year-old. FEA is a repurposed and redesigned version of the Viking ride that used to be in its place at the Norway Pavilion in Epcot. You hop into a boat and are taken on a journey through a post-movie storyline about the folks in Arendelle throwing a Winter-in-Summer celebration. There's plenty of music from the movie throughout, and the animatronics were really impressive! They use some kind of combination of the physical animatronic + projector imagery for their faces, so they all looked really good. I'm not ashamed to admit I got a little emotional when the "Let It Go" portion started -- it's just a really well-presented. I would definitely recommend putting FEA on your Epcot bucket list, even if there's a bit of a wait, because the line does move fast, and Fastpasses for the event seemed nigh impossible to snag. But just make sure you go early in the day! read more

When considering the stars I would assign to this I thought I would give it 2 stars but that is when I judge it against the 55 minute wait time (which I know is short for this ride) and expectations. I thought a brand new Disney ride would be beautiful and Elsa's ice castle would be live twinkling lights, not animation on screens like the Fiesta ride in Mexico. However it's better to review this compared to the rides available at EPCOT so I give it 3 stars. I had to also wait a couple weeks to write the review to get some perspective. I'm still tempted to give it 2 stars but the disappointment still sits with me. If you are familiar with Norway's Maelstrom ride, you are following the same path: a boat ride hey frozen. There are brief animatronics at the beginning, with what seems like projectors presenting the faces. There's an Olaf skating ala what you see in It's a Small World. And of course you'll hear "Let It Go." The spirit of the ride is like that of the Snow White ride in the Magic Kingdom but the story is greatly abbreviated and the Magic just isn't there. I suppose young children still obsessed with Anna and Elsa will enjoy it and I feel sorry for the adults who may have to wait and hour or two for this ride. Fast passes are ridiculously difficult to get for this ride. It's the first thing you should book and if you're getting your tickets at the park there's zero chance you'll get a FastPass. This is booking up 60 days in advance. But if I got one I would ride again - without the anticipation of a seeing a new Disney ride. I would not ever wait in line for this again. If the stand by line is greater than 10 minutes I'll wait for you on the other side. As you wait in line and check out the scenery there's a poster for Elsa's Winter in Summer Party. I don't know why this wasn't the theme of the ride given the popularity of the movie. So many people have seen it you don't need to try to abbreviate the tale in this ride. I probably should have given this a 2. But hopefully the review level sets your expectations and you are pleasantly surprised by the ride. I just feel Disney missed the mark in this one. read more

I've got to give them credit. They re purposed this ride and did a great job. This is coming from a father of a daughter that made me live through he movie a bajillion times. We have been trying to get fastpasses for months and nothing has shown up. As passholders, we have the flexibility, but it just does NOT show up on the calendar. We also refuse to wait more than 20 minutes for anything. Those of you that are local can be very sympathetic and understand that this is not "snobbish." I was finally able to land a fast pass for Friday afternoon, right in the middle of the school day. Needless to say, my seven year old daughter was also going to have a last minute eye appointment (Side note....I booked her an eye appointment on the way to Epcot for when we were done, so this was not a lie). We arrived at the park, and had apparently pissed off the parking gods again. We were stuck about 5 cars from the end of the row, and it was 148 degrees in the parking lot. Luckily, we caught the tram. What felt like an hour later, and sweating our asses off, we finally got to the ride! Just like the scene from Vacation, there were no people and the doors were closed. Surely this was a mistake. I took out my phone and found the email that came four minutes earlier explaining the demise of our day. The ride was down and MAY be back up. We stomped our feet off to Africa, where my daughter took her frustrations out on the drums. For once, I too was disappointed about missing a ride, but mostly for her. As we were getting ready to move on, we learned it had reopened, so we ran over and got right on. The whole thing was re done to represent Frozen, and the level of detail through the entire ride was very spot on. It feels like it was toned down a little to cater to the little ones, but it was also fun for adults. The music did not make you want to go mad. You get a little wet if the boat splashes right on the bottom of the last hill. The ride opens up into a gift shop, so be ready to say NO, or pull out the wallet. They have EVERYTHING Frozen. read more

This was a pretty cute ride with great animatronics and of course, singing. It's great for little kids and adults alike. However, this is basically the old Norway ride with a theme - and they rushed implementation since they didn't fix any of this ride's mechanical issues. Hence, it broke down when we tried to use the fast pass the first time - and it breaks down often. (Although Disney gave the pass back, it was only good for that night - and we had other plans.) It was a pretty short ride, likely due to space constraints, but given they only changed the theme and not the ride itself, it was somewhat disappointing for the long wait. read more

Not impressed. Luckily, we only waited ten mins in line as we were some of the first people there in the AM. Like others have commented, the ride simply lacks the magic other Disney rides have. It's basically a few animatronics with animation on screens. I feel like it lacks the true Epcot spirit that the old Norway ride had. read more

While I certainly wouldn't wait in line for 4 hours (or even 2) to ride Frozen Ever After, I will admit it is a lot better than I anticipated. I can seriously say that I love it! I know fans of Maelstrom may be disappointed by the change, but Disney did a fantastic job with these animatronics. I was really impressed. Now if only they would change the tier system for FastPasses at Epcot, then that would be perfect! read more

Wow. Awesome newly added ride in Norway pavilion. Fun and well designed with little bit of wet added fun. Waiting hour is 2 or 3 hours today but we had fast pass. read more

This is a wonderful ride! if you can get a FastPass I would really recommend it because the wait is super super long or maybe go during the week... anyway it's a wonderful ride in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot a must for all fans of the movie Frozen! You will enjoy seeing all the characters from the movie and singing the songs while you ride along in your boat through the Frozen scenery. My favorite part was the room that looks like you are inside the castle made of snowflakes! read more

I was a fan of the Maelstrom, so I was kinda dreading the commercial I spent almost an hour in line to see. Don't get me wrong, I loved Frozen. The movie was fantastic. The music was great. I'm not complaining really. If you have kiddos who are fans, they'll lose it completely. The animatronics (do they still call it that?) are flawless. Disney went all-out to create the magic here. It's worth the wait. While I still mourn the absence of the journey into old Norse folklore, I still enjoyed seeing the world of Frozen brought to life. read more
