Disney continues to prove why it's in a league of its own. This trip, we opted for the after 2:00 p.m. tickets, and I highly recommend it. We were able to enjoy slow mornings, have a relaxing brunch, skip the early rush, and still enjoy full evenings in the parks. Even in mid-July, the crowds were much lighter than expected. The Florida heat and humidity were no joke, but bringing cooling fans made a huge difference. We also purchased Lightning Passes, and they were worth every penny. Because of the heat, we focused more on indoor attractions and shows, which ended up being a great strategy. My only suggestion? Disney could use a few more water rides across the four main parks, not just at the water parks. The parks were spotless, Cast Members were consistently friendly and helpful, complimentary water cups were easy to find, and somehow Disney's famous mosquito control system really does seem to work. We barely noticed any bugs, which is pretty remarkable for central Florida. A special thank you to Megan from Kansas State, who was working in Frontierland. She spent extra time answering our daughter's questions with so much kindness and patience. Then, completely unexpectedly, she surprised our family with VIP viewing passes for the parade and fireworks in a private viewing area. It turned an already wonderful day into a memory we'll never forget. Even with the scorching heat, the Disney magic never melted. In fact, I'd say the magic was on fire. read more

I went as a chaperone for a school trip. The last time I was here, I was 15/16 y/o. I can say that when you walk into the park, you feel the magic. I had a great time, wasn't able to find the Cinderella mouse ears but it is what it is. We watched the fireworks at the end of the night and I feel like watching it as an adult is different than when I was younger. I even cried a little because of how beautiful. I know Disney isn't for everyone but for me I loved. I can't wait to go back to enjoy it with just my daughter and not a group of kids on a school trip. read more

A park as old as time. What else can I say that rhymes? This part truly never gets old. As a kid, this place is magical and new and very immersive with all of the characters in princesses and kiddie rides. As an adult, it has become nostalgic. As somebody who grew up in Florida and had the privilege to go to Disney just about once a year since I was in elementary school. I can say that a trip to Disney truly never gets old! The Skyliner "Hack": A Cast Member at the Innkeeper's Club shared that you can ride the Skyliner for free to explore other resorts like the Riviera or Art of Animation. Honestly, visiting Disney is worth your money, and I have no issues with it. However, the experience was only ruined because of the people. Some visitors really need to learn how to dress appropriately for a theme park. I also believe Disney should ban overly political items, like full Trump merchandise, from the park. I was also surprised to see some people, including children, wearing revealing clothing! while I understand it's hot, it's still inappropriate. No one wants to see your bare ass cheeks on the Tres Amigos ride. It was disappointing to see both adults and children dressed in such manner, especially the parents. read more

Welp we made it do Walt Disney World . And it's A LOT of people. Unsure how anyone would do it . I can imagine the lines for a ride during the day time . But the good thing is they do let you know how long the wait time is before you ride the ride . Walking into the ride line is crazy because what looks short on the outside is actually longer on the inside . I went for the Disney after Dark event . Theses event are held on certain days and varies with the park (Disney has 4 parks) . During this event , a limited amount of tickets are sold and you also get unlimited amount of popcorn, ice cream and cold drinks during this event. I love that they allowed us to arrive as early as 7pm to get a chance to watch the 9pm fireworks show. The show during this time was sooooo crowded, like bourbon street on steroids. But the shows was overall beautiful we watched a bit of it . Around 945 the day crowd started to leave and the park was no longer over crowded. We rode rides with wait time as little as 10 minutes and the popcorn and ice-cream was so good. My son got a chance to take picture with Mickey Mouse also. The 11pm fireworks show was also amazing . My family and I enjoy theme parks! Walt Disney World is one of our favorite places to visit! It's in Orlando Florida. Walt Disney World Resorts consists of four theme parks, two water parks, dozens of resort hotels, golf courses, ESPN Sports Complex, and so much more! The first theme park to open at Walt Disney World Resort was Magic Kingdom. It opened in 1971. From there, other theme parks opened up and a lot of resorts. The theme parks include the following Magic Kingdom: Magic Kingdom has the most rides out of all 4 theme parks. The Cinderella Castle is one of the most iconic features in Magic Kingdom. There are six theme lands inside Magic Kingdom which includes some of the following such as Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Adventureland. Some of the rides are similar to DIsneyland in California adventure, but there are some unique rides at Magic Kingdom such as Tron and the Seven Dwarves Mine ride. Animal Kingdom: This is Disney World's newest theme park. It opened in 1998. This theme park focuses on wildlife conservation and natural environments. The main iconic attraction here is the Tree of Life. One of the favorite areas here is the World of Avatar. Our family enjoys the Mount Everest ride the best though! Luckily, we had a chance to experience the Dinosaur ride towards the end of 2024 before it gets reimagined! Epcot: Epcot is the best place for food! This theme park focuses on technological innovation and the future world. Epcot has the World Showcase that represents 11 countries. There are plenty of festivals hosted yearly and throughout the seasons such as the Food and Wine Festival, the Art festival, and so much more! We enjoy a lot of the rides here too like Cosmic Rewind and the Frozen ride! There are plenty of shows here too and you could easily spend several full days at Epcot to experience everything! Disney's Hollywood Studios: This is one of the smaller theme parks at Disney World. Some of the themed areas include Toy Story and Star Wars. There is a lot of entertainment and shows too like Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Indiana Jones, and two new shows opening this summer for the Villains and the Little Mermaid. You could spend a full day here at this theme park. You would be able to do all of the rides, shows, and the nighttime Fantasmic! One of our favorite dining areas in the Sci-Fi drive in. It has all of the classic movies and shows while you eat in a car! Two water parks are available at Disney World which includes Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. There hasn't been a consist schedule for either of the park, but both are fun! There are mini-golf courses available too! Disney Springs is so much fun! There are a ton of shops and dining experiences. Last Year, they even had a seasonal drone show which was cool! Some of our favorite restaurants visiting Orlando is in Disney Springs! We always try to spend at least a half day at Disney Springs to go through all of the shops! If you're looking to stay within Disney World, you can stay at one of their theme resort hotels. The resorts are categorized into Value, Moderate, and Deluxe tiers. We've stayed at a few different hotels like Kidani Village, Polynesian, and even Pop Century. All of the experiences were great and unique! We liked having early access to the resort and with the lightning lane add on, our family was able to book ride reservations 7 days in advanced. There are special ticketed events throughout the year such as Mickey's Not-so-scary Halloween Party. I haven't had a chance to go to the Holiday one, but the MNSSH party was so much fun! There was the Halloween parade, unique fireworks, and special shows in front of the Cinderella castle. If we lived in Orlando Florida, we would get a annual pass to be able to visit often and try out a lot of the seasonal foods! I have been coming here since I was five years old and my kids since they were toddlers. I have gone through so many renditions and changes and it is still ever evolving. I have seen so many hotels be built, theme parks, the evolution of Disney Springs, stayed in several hotels, come here just to shop, eat, relax...you name it. I love that once you get here, it is a universe in itself and do not need a car, or much of anything, it is a self sustaining resort with almost everything you need. I love all of the theming, the staff is usually excellent, it is for all ages, and typically brings an overall happy experience. I typically love the food, the shopping, the rides, the water activities and feeling like you are living inside some of the best movies. Plus there is always something new. For someone who loves Disney, surprisingly, I have only been to two of the theme parks, but finally, on this trip made it to both of the waterparks. I felt like it was never going to happen for me, but we finally made it to not just one but two since they were both open this summer, and had a fantastic time at both. I love their refillable mugs, the bus transportation, and their value resorts, since I am huge on theming but not on spending too much. I love just coming here for the resorts and not having to do the parks, since they provide resort activities and games and movies, plus Disney Springs, you do not have to feel the need to also hop around bush parks in the summer. I do love coming here in the summer to cool off in their resort pools or in the winter for Spring to get some sunshine. I have never had the chance to come here in the Fall. Now some gripes and I do hope Disney takes a look at their reviews. Universal is gaining on Disney, fast. I also love Universal and will spend my money on them, especially if they offer services Disney has taken away. Their waterpark is better, hands down, with better rides, food, and overall experiences. They still offer souvenir delivery to the hotels, which I value, and would have spent more at Disney if they still offered it. I do not want to walk around with huge or any packages. A better value ticket that includes the waterpark. Cheaper rooms that are larger and offer more at their resorts. I wish Disney would consider offering their buses to the resorts again with suitcase delivery. I have taken Mears plenty of times, Universal has the same mode of transportation, but if I am spending a lot of money, what are you offering me? cheaper prices in general. If you price out people who are willing to spend money here but have less income how are you going to find customers to keep your resort open and ever expanding? More overall perks like in the past. If we are your repeat customers, what kind of loyalty program could keep up coming back and spending here? Just things for them to think about. I do love Disney and always will and would love to come back again and again, but it does also need to be worth it. read more

As a north central Florida native, I cannot believe I've never reviewed Disney! It's the happiest place on earth that I'd absolutely grown tired of (as I was over-saturated as a child-- I know. The burden and horrors of having the BEST parents! lol) , but now I know that I can still enjoy an adult-centric visit these days! I've visited Disney no less than 10 times in my life-- back in the original "Fast Pass" days from spring/holiday breaks with the parents from the age of 5 on up, to class trips from grade 8 on up and having the pleasure of attending Disney's Grad Night '01 before they canned it and said take your money across the tracks-- we're DONE! lol) What a time to be alive! When I became an adult, I vowed to give it a rest, forever. But, I lied. Now, I randomly visit with friends every few years, and while it's cool to see the subtle (and not-so subtle) changes I wasn't exactly thrilled to return to the heat, lines, and dodging of double strollers-- I can say that I'm now reinvigorated by the "adulting version" of Disney that has been unlocked by my non-native Floridian, pass holding friends that are completely obsessed with all things Disney. I before never got to experience this side of things, and it's "a whole new world" for me. I have to admit that I'm kinda' digging Disney again. D3 club, the secret hacks, lightning/premiere lanes, Disney Experience app to pay and order ahead w/ no wait, resort stay perks, scanning my Apple Watch, not dealing w/parking, more behind-the-scenes things, "rope dropping"... oh my, and who knew?! All that to say, I'm back saddled into the "House of Mouse", with custom Minnie ears in tow, looking for an excuse to go learn more about "Disney for adults." Let me know when y'all are going. It's no secret that Walt Disney World lives up to its reputation as the most magical place on earth. I thought it was just my nostalgia of being fortunate enough to visit as a kid, but even as an adult, I felt my cares melt away during my time there and I enjoyed how fun it was to make believe that I was meeting my childhood idols for real. Disney is obsessive in their dedication to detail, perfection, and creating magical moments. During every interaction with cast members, they went above and beyond to make sure that we had what we needed, and would even add touches to help us feel like VIPs (buttons for someone with a birthday that week and someone visiting for the first time, a sample of a wine the server thought we might enjoy trying at the end of our meal, and front desk staff happy to look up even the most obscure special experience). As an adult you know that some things are an illusion (it's not the same Belle princess in 5 locations around the park at the same time), but that doesn't lessen they magic of interacting with princesses who don't break character. I loved how they would reference small details about themselves (eg: Rapunzel saying that art was a part of her "usual morning lineup" as she admired a child's drawing, a reference to the opening song in the movie Tangled). The park is also amazingly clean and the attention to small details in places like Main Street USA gives a clue to how meticulously it is run. And everyone is helpful and genuinely seems to enjoy working there! If you're reading this because you're contemplating a trip, I hope that you're fortunate enough to be able to go. We came here in 2025 and again in 2026 for the kid's birthday. There is a lot to say and most of it has already been said, so I will just summarize. -go early in the day. -bring your own water bottle (March 2026 the cheapest bottle of water was $4.25) -get a lightning pass and use it for rides, not shows -be prepared for lots of walking. Wear walking shoes. If it is spring or summer, bring sun screen. -be prepared for LOTS of people (if they drive like they walk, no wonder the US has such a high vehicular fatality rate). Be patient. -be prepared to overpay for just about everything. But oddly, the $300 per person multi-park ticket is a good deal. Why? Because you get so much entertainment. There are loads of Disney employees everywhere who are friendly and ready to help with any questions. They all are paid, so the $300 is actually not a bad deal when you consider how many employees there are in each park, how clean the parks are, and all the upkeep to maintain the animals and rides. -if you get tired, and you will, take a break. It's not fun if you get so tired that you get cranky. -Don't forget to enjoy the smiles on the kids' faces! read more

Disney magic never gets old! This park truly feels like the most magical place on earth -- everywhere you look, it just makes your heart so happy. I highly recommend visiting in the winter: it's so much nicer to stroll around and wait in lines when it's chilly rather than melting in the heat! The rides are amazing as always, and the firework show? Absolutely spectacular -- pure Disney magic lighting up the night sky! I absolutely recommend going with your family to the Beauty and the Beast restaurant. It is a replica of the Beasts grand castle in the movie and food was French and themed perfectly. The decor in the castle was stunningly gorgeous and made me so emotional because I love that movie and I felt like I was in it. read more

Expensive and not as we thought it would be. To start our check in was later than scheduled and we had to sit in the lobby soaking wet from the water parks. I ordered two magic bands far in advance which the resort lost and the only thing they could do was replace them (no refund or anything) meaning there was no engraving like I ordered. One of my lightning lanes got cancelled and I was told I could use the lighting pass at any ride at any time I wanted (by the worker at the muppets coaster) since the original ride was closed. We went to slinky coaster and they told us the ticket is invalid for that ride. We had to wait in a 50 minute line and my fast pass ticket was wasted, since no rides accepted it. There is also no water the hotels meaning you have to buy bottles beforehand at a grocery store or just buy 5$ bottles over and over again at the park. Also, ASK FOR FORKS! If you do takeout there is no silverware or plastic anything in the hotel. The new lighting lane system makes the trip have added stress as you have to continuously check your phone and worry about making your reservation time. Even though I booked lightning lanes 7 days in advance, many rides were already booked at times I wanted, meaning we had to traverse all the way across the park from ride to ride instead of having them planned by time to reduce walking. The service online was amazing -- they helped me book and change my vacation as needed. The service in person, however, did not reach this level. We were left receiving false information about lightning passes and little help with lost items. In the line for Tiana's ride, we saw a girl collapse while waiting for over an hour. The line was fully outside with no shade whatsoever, very few weak and cheap fans around that provided no air, and no access to water at all. Disney does not seem to care about the safety of their riders. The girl then got wheeled out after a five minute wait and all she was given was a small dasani water bottle (smallest size you could think of) and a cold compress. I can only assume the lack of accessible water is because they hope for more money. It is a disgrace that disney had a fully outside waiting line and didn't think of the consequences. In my opinion, Universal is worth the trip. Easier lightning lanes and less worry. read more

Ya sure its magical but its not put together, the couldn't find our reservation at the hotel check in and then continued to not give us a room for hours. After that we were going to catch us bus to Disney springs, wasn't suppose to arrive for 28 more minutes right? Wrong, we left to get a water within 10 minutes and the bus came and left without us. "The Most Magical Place on Earth" has been my experience here each time I visit. Disney World is one of the best theme parks I've been to. It was our first time and everything was confusing and the staff was impatient and rude and didn't understand why we didn't know what to do because it was our first time, the rides were amazing!!! The timers for the rides were wrong they were 25 minutes behind, ride instructors didn't even check my seat belt and I didn't know how to tighten it properly so I was on a ride that drops you from high up! The two major destinations in the United States for fun are Walt Disney World and Las Vegas. They both want your money. Las Vegas does give you a chance to win some money. Disney World is a one-way street. They viciously take your money with no mercy. At my current age, this will be my last hurrah at the park. I just don't want to feel my hips, knees, neck, and back hurt like I am being tortured. I had a good run, as I've been coming since the mid-90s. My oldest grandkids got two visits out of me and Mrs. K. In my mind, I could do it. My spirit was willing, but my body said no way. I will miss my youngest grandchild's first visit. Been here 3 times my whole life and the parks never disappointed me every time I went. My favorite is the Magic Kingdom Park where I went on the Space Mountain several times at the end of the day without a fast pass! The line to the ride was short at the end of the day. I'm really scared of roller coasters and cannot get on one but for some reason I got on this one several times. Actually the first time I got on the ride I was panicking and had to back out but my partner encouraged and motivated me to finish the ride so I had no choice and do it. The bad thing about this ride is it was indoors and everywhere was pitch black with glowing lights. Could not see anything and did not know when the drops came so when it was time for the big drop I screamed out loud and I couldn't prepare for those drops at all. It was so scary! One of the rides that also scared the shit out of me and was memorable was the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror that was very scary! The elevator kept dropping really fast and hard out of nowhere! My stomach and heart were going nuts! There were some long drops and I was screaming for my life! I also threw up too! I only went on this ride once and that was it! Never again! One of my favorite shows is the Fantasmic Show with the lights and Disney characters! I feel so happy every time I see that show. There is smoke and fireworks too! This show never upsets and fails me! One of my favorite is the Epcot too, they have a lot of countries and stores and restaurants geared to that country. For the French one, I got a crème brûlée, which was so cute and tasty! There was bubble tea in the China country. The Moroccan one had a pretty fountain. I also went to Typhoon Lagoon, one of the two water parks in Disney World and the wave pool was very unexpected. I did not know the waves were so huge until the wave formed in front of me in the middle of the pool. I had no time to run and I couldn't swim at the time so I was face smacked by the wave and it threw my body into the pool and I was screaming for safety inside the pool. Thank god my partners arm grabbed me in time and I did not drown. Such a scary experience having the large wave swallow and pushing you around! I could not go into the pool anymore until I learned how to swim! Other than that, the sliding tubes were really fun to go down in! Some of them needed tubes and some just needed you to go solo with arms crossed. For the food, the turkey leg is pricey but really delicious! It is very meaty and big. You can just one from the food carts all over the park and eat and walk the whole park with it. For the water, water bottles are very pricey and last time I paid for one cost me $4 plus tax. It's probably pricier now after the pandemic! My favorite dine in places were the buffet with Winnie the Pooh and the Beauty and the Beast castle! The food was really good and lots of variety in the buffet. The decor and the tables were very beautiful in the Beauty and the Beast castle. It was dimly lit and very fancy like you're in a real castle. All in all, Disney World is one of the best resorts I've been to in my whole life! So big and so much fun! A nice and memorable experience I will cherish my whole life. I will continue to go to this resort through my adulthood because it's not just for young kids! read more

From there, Disney stacked up parks like poker chips: EPCOT in '82, Hollywood Studios in '89, Animal Kingdom in '98. Each one its own ecosystem of spectacle, history, and fried food. And it's not just the parks. Staying on property is its own cultural experience. The Contemporary with a monorail running through its heart like a space-age artery. Animal Kingdom Lodge where you sip coffee while giraffes wander by like it's a casual Tuesday. Or the Polynesian, which smells like vacation bottled in a candle. I'm a DVC member, and honestly, it's one of the few investments where the dividend is pure joy. (And Tonga Toast. Never underestimate Tonga Toast.) Then there are the experiences that make this place more than rides. Yehaa Bob Jackson at Port Orleans Riverside is living proof that Disney magic isn't confined to animatronics. The man turns a piano into a rocket ship and an audience into a choir. You don't just watch his show, you surrender to it. He's a cult figure in suspenders, and the fact that he's part of the Disney ecosystem tells you everything you need to know about how deep this rabbit hole goes. As a D23 member, I get the behind-the-scenes love too -- the history, the archival deep dives, the sense that this isn't just an entertainment company, it's a cultural juggernaut that's woven itself into our lives whether we like it or not. Disney isn't subtle. It doesn't whisper. It shouts in fireworks and LED parades. And somehow, it works. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, the crowds can test your patience and your marriage. Yes, you will swear off turkey legs and yet somehow find yourself holding one at 11 a.m. But here's the deal: where else can you ride a banshee in Pandora, drink around the world at EPCOT, and then be serenaded by an animatronic ghost in a haunted mansion... all in the same day? Roll your eyes, order a double bourbon, and then admitted after a few days: "Alright... this is ridiculous. But it's also incredible." Bottom line: Walt Disney World isn't just a theme park. Disney World is everything I thought it would be. It was truly magical - despite the cost, the long lines & the weather, I would never trade my Disney experience for any other. If you can afford the ticket, go. Even if it's not the perfect experience you dreamed of or prefer, it is a great time. Show up early, leave late & take your time. Bring snacks if you're on a budget (they allow it), wear comfortable shoes, wear a backpack instead of a purse & bring a refillable water container. Do not overpack as I did & do not forget to bring a poncho incase it rains. You don't have to have a character breakfast to enjoy their delicious food (and I don't doubt the character meals are fantastic & worth the price). But the Disney dream isn't just for people who have a ton of money . There are ways to make it work when you have less. I do hope that Disney keeps in mind that Disney fans come in all ages, sizes & income brackets & the memories we make in these parks really do last a lifetime. Instead of "I will probably never get to go", I hope to hear more of, "I can't believe I was actually there!" These visits create fans for generations. Don't forget all the people when you're deciding how much to price the tickets each year. read more

Pros: Large. With 4 parks (plus their water ones), you could never be bored. Rides galore. The Castle is gorgeous. Everything is here. Cons: Too large. It's so big that it's a bit overwhelming. It's exhausting. You need a vacation from this vacation. Also, rides are so far from one another. You will get your steps in. It's also pricey. Long wait times so I highly recommend getting the Lightning Lane and Multipass - which just makes it pricier. Also, feel the cast members here just ... aren't ... as ... good as Disneyland. I said it. Sorry. They just aren't as friendly. Epcot team and all the restaurant staff were great. Otherwise the rest fell so flat and short. It lost its magic there a bit. I used to be Team Disney World. But I may now be Team Disneyland. read more

Happiest place on Earth forced me to relive the worst moments of my life! I am a disabled veteran who served 3 tours and have a 100% disability rating with the majority from PTSD. Like most veteran's, I do not talk about it because it brings back some of the worst memories of my life. I brought my family to Disney World several years ago and they were very accommodating. Disney set us up with a disability pass which allowed me to still enjoy time with my family while keeping my PTSD in check. They did not ask intrusive questions and it was a fairly painless process because I had the proper documentation. Today, I brought my family to Disney World for my daughters and my birthday and instead of going through guest services I was forced to video chat with a Disney cast member and a supposed "Health Expert" who proceeded to make me explain how my PTSD made me feel, why I felt I needed an accommodation, and what I would do if I reached a breaking point. In front of my kids I spent several minutes being grilled by this health expert over and over how my PTSD made me feel and react in crowds. This "Health Expert" is obviously ignorant to any veteran that suffers from PTSD or she wouldn't have asked these in-depth ignorant questions. In front of my kids I began having a full blown panic attack while disclosing things that I have spent much of their lives shielding them from. In the end, I was denied a disability pass. All because Disney is too focused on squeezing every dime out of us instead of being considerate of the men and women who have sacrificed more than they could ever imagine for this country. Thank you Disney for ruining the first day of our vacation that took years to save up for. Change the way you do business and treat veterans if you truly respect the men and women who sacrifice for this country, or that statement is simply false adverting to gain positive PR. read more

honestly, my favorite place on earth. all the worries of today fade into a world of enchantment and wonder. this review will be long so brace yourself. where to stay (on property) - Coronado Springs, big, open, beautiful, relatively cheap - Contemporary, og 3, beautiful architecture, really cool rooms, monorail is a plus, expensive - Port Orleans- a cheaper option if you want a cuter, more fantasy vibes. The food is heaven! Where to eat: Coral Reef Restaurant (EPCOT)- awesome to get to see the fish, pin bread is really gooood! Casey's Corner (MK)- cheaper, quick service option. Chili Cheese dog hits the spot. Skippers (MK)- ask for the secret menu items and you won't regret it. Brown & Derby (Hollywood Studio's)- classic style, lovely staff, BEST COBB SALAD, great to cool down 50's prime time cafe (Hollywood Studio)- good food, cool layout, makes you feel like your part of the family... Rides: 1-3 years Epcot- The Seas with Nemo & Friends -- gentle boat ride inside an aquarium. Spaceship Earth -- calm ride through Epcot's iconic sphere (can be dark). Frozen Ever After -- boat ride with familiar characters (may be dim but popular with kids). Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros (World Showcase, Mexico) -- easy boat ride with Donald Duck. Magic Kingdom- Dumbo the Flying Elephant -- gentle flying elephants little ones love. "it's a small world" -- slow, colorful boat ride with the classic song. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh -- cheerful Pooh‑themed ride. Peter Pan's Flight -- smooth, flying "ship" ride over Neverland. Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid -- easy clamshell ride with music and scenes. Mad Tea Party (Tea Cups) -- classic spinning tea cups (great if they like gentle spinning). Test Track (height 40") - High-speed driving simulator; can be thrilling for older 7-year-olds, maybe less so for smaller 4-year-olds. Mission: Space (Green - mild) - Optional "space adventure" simulator; check if your child can handle motion. Sorin' Around The World- Perfect if your little one isn't scared of height! It takes you around the world with a simulated screen allowing you and the kiddos to tour the world! Note: (if your child is scared of flying, DO NOT RIDE! this ride takes you up in the air and pitches backwards and forwards. May be very distressing, go on The Land for a calm gentle ride. Animal Kingdom: Kali River Rapids - Water raft ride with small rapids and splashes. Height 38". Toddlers won't ride, but older 4-7-year-olds can go with a parent. Na'vi River Journey- soft moving water ride with gentle music and fun visual, especially cool if you little one likes Pandora! Note: (if your kiddo is tall enough and wants too, they could go in Expedition Everest) Hollywood Studios: Slinky Dog Dash - Family-friendly roller coaster; smooth but fast and fun (height 38"). Alien Swirling Saucers - Spinning ride; crank up speed for more intensity. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run - Interactive "flying" simulator; height 38". Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway - Not intense, but immersive motion makes it feel adventurous. To whomever listened to this whole thing, have a magical experience. The biggest highlight is the location--you can literally walk to Magic Kingdom. Seeing the monorail go through the building is iconic. Rooms are modern and clean, but the price is high for what you get. Still, the convenience is unbeatable. read more

It was an interesting experience at Disney theme park to say the least. The Disney theme park is more oriented towards kids rather than teens, which we realised after the first day at the park. However there was a few very good roller coasters, such as the Tron, Avatar, Expedition Everest, Guardians of the galaxy my personal favourite, both the Star Wars, the simulation to being on a rocket going to mars was also an absolutely fantastic experience, the tower of terror was fantastic on a night and even slinky dog dash was great even though it was more for younger kids. However on the Kali river rapids... well that was an experience the ride broke due to some sort of issue with electricity or systems which is perfectly fine, however going to the theme park with a teen with a broken leg on crutches it was not a good experience on this ride we had to wait for 1 hour for the fire fighters to arrive to help him get off of the ride which caused us to miss our hotel shuttle and dinner reservation however Disney did offer us 3 lightning passes and a taxi voucher but it was still not a great experience to say the least. I also recommend the safari in animal kingdom which was brilliant. The plays and different region themed worlds were also fantastic offering different food and experiences from all over the globe. I recommend if you can to purchase the lightning as it saves so much time and you get to see more of the park if you don't haw many days to do it. read more
