I am an EPCOT girl for life. I have loved it ever since I was a little kid and it just continues to keep me amazed every time I am there. I love all of the festivals but by far flower and garden and Food and Wine are my favorites. I was lucky enough to be there this year during flower and garden and it was absolutely mezmorizing as always to see how they can create these amazing art pieces with nature. They have been adding so many things and building EPCOT up a lot. I did not get to try their new 21 and over bar (GEO-82) but to be honest on hot days the last thing I want to do is dehydrate. I love the Creations shop and the Connections eatery area that was a great addtion. They have added so much to the park over the years that it's now even better than it was before. The World Showcase continues to of course be the top area for most people as the "drinking around the world" trend continues to be a popular trend for many people. To me I just love going there and experienceing just a small bit of other cultures and learning things about other countries. I highly recommend EPCOT to anyone who wants to experience a little bit of magic and knowledge in their day when they decide to visit WDW.

I have not had the opportunities to be back here in quite some time and I was thrilled for the chance to come during the annual flower and garden festival. I enjoy all the flowers and floral attractions that are set up. Epcot like all of Disney has so much to offer. They have attractions, rides, and lots of food offerings as well as shopping. We took the time to see most of the topiaries and floral offerings and tried some food along the way as well. There have been a lot of updates and changes here since I was last able to visit, but everything still felt familiar and we had a very good visit. It was a very hot day while we were here so we didn't get to spend as much time as we might have liked, but it was a worthwhile trip.

The Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow (EPCOT) is Walt Disney's dream for a city of tomorrow. There are so many amazing rides here. You cannot miss the new Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind which we did twice and is absolutely amazing! Definitely a thrill ride with some amazing technology. You can easily reach Epcot via the monorail from the ticket and transportation center. There are other amazing rides here as well including Soarin' and Test Track. There are also tons of dining options ranging from snacks to quick service to table service. Definitely visit Epcot on your next Disney vacation!

My boys are older and this was an even more amazing visit to Epcot. I am confident we were able to visit most of the shops, quick service restaurants, and attractions in the park. Our latest visit was in April and we loved the festival of flowers, which meant even more small bites in the World Showcase. Food-wise, we loved everything we purchased: margarita, Chinese quick service, funnel cake, iced coffee, soft serve ice cream, burgers and fries. The new Ratatouille attraction was so much fun and Paris seemed more full with shops and food. The app was helpful to guide us to attractions with a shorter wait. A few offer single rider seats and the wait is much, much shorter. This park provides a good balance of things for all ages.

800th review, might as well make it epic, about a epic place at EPCOT. Review for the 2026 Flower and Garden Festival (March 4 - June 1, 2026). We visited on 3/10/26. While I am not one for spending $413.22 for two people just on admission, I am a big fan of flowers and botanicals, and it seemed really fabulous on the previous year looking at content creators showcasing the Flower and Garden festival from 2025. PARKING: $35 a day in the regular parking (you can pay more and park closer). Remember where you parked, but even better, remember which direction you are walking, huge open air lot, easy to get lost. ENTRANCE: We just walked through xray machines, no more opening of the bags and inspecting everything inside like the good old days. Lines moved quickly to get everyone inside. LINES/RIDES: We got there a half-hour after it opened and the waits were already 70 minutes for the more popular rides, like Guardians of the Galaxy. We only went on one ride in Mexico, on a lazy-river type, for little kids, which had no lines when we got there. I was a bit disappointed with the ride, though, mostly projected images of Disney characters singing, hardly any real figures. CROWDS: It wasn't spring break yet, and it was very, very crowded, but we did go on a Saturday, so that didn't help. WEATHER IN MARCH: Very warm, almost hot. Two weeks prior, Florida got hit with a freeze which killed a lot of palm trees and plants all over parts of Florida (we saw a lot of dead palms and plants in Cocoa Beach) but when we visited, it was uncomfortably warm; I thought it was 90 deg but it was apparenly only 82 degrees, but humid, that made it feel worse. Very strange weather. FOOD/DRINK: As to be expected, mostly over-priced, especially the alcoholic stuff ($15.00 for a violet sake slushy in a plastic cup). I did appreciate the vegetarian and vegan food choices, so I had a good time eating those. Be prepared to stand in a long line to get your food, which moves pretty quickly, but still, long lines in the hot sun in most places. The app was helpful as it listed what locations had which foods and drinks, and each place had their own specialty plant-based or floral-based foods/drinks. We enjoyed the plant based lumpia and poke bowls. One tip is to take a small tray that will fit in your backpack (we got ours from IKEA, Tillgang tray for 99 cents) - it was super helpful as I was not one of those trying to juggle drinks and food and appetizers. PIN TRADING: I forgot my lanyard at the hotel, was mad at myself for days after. There are not as many pin traders at EPCOT but I did manage to see several cast members with pin books at entrances to attractions. SHOPS: Everything I saw that I wanted was either 1) too expensive 2) unable to bring home - plant material, cannot bring back to Hawaii 3) no more room in suitcase. Expensive is an understatement. I took photos of things I wanted so I could remember them. FLORA/GARDEN: I was disappointed. I thought I would see a lot more flowers but nothing stood out except the dragon in China covered with bromeliads, and the butterflies in one of the World areas. I remember days at Disneyland where I saw a lot more varied and unusual plants and flowers in the fall than I did here. AQUARIUM: Missed it, which was really a shame, as we thought it was a kid's Nemo ride. I was mad for days after about this too - missed out on seeing the world's largest aquarium!! RETURN FACTOR: NO. Not worth the money. $448.22 for two adults, for one day, for just admission and parking. By the time we walked out of the park, we probably spent $550 on just drinks, food, and one souvenir. We didn't do any rides as we didn't want to wait.

What can I say about Disney that isn't already obvious? I'm completely in love with the parks, to be honest. But EPCOT holds a very special place in my heart. To me, it's one of the most beautiful ones. You can walk around enjoying the scenery -- yes, the lines can be long, but overall it's still very comfortable to explore. The Flower & Garden Festival is one of the most beautiful events to experience the park, along with Food & Wine, which is also one of my favorites . The food around the World is amazing, and the drinks are incredible. Specially Germany, France and Japan. Ho try the crepes, OMG The decorations for the Flower & Garden Festival are stunning. Butterfly Landing is absolutely magical this time of year. And overall... it's Disney. It's almost impossible not to have a great time here.

It's impossible to cover everything in a day but that's all the time our spring break road trip would allow. Always nice to walk through the World Showcase. Our family favorite is Morocco. Hubs and I have been on a tour there years back. My favorite restaurant here, all the way in the back is open only for dinner now so we ate at another restaurant near its entrance. When my grandfather brought 22 of us here we dined in Japan. Today we rode Figment(my personal favorite),Frozen, Rattatouie, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Time ran out so we didn't go on Soarin. Sun was out big time so many guests were having a beverage, ice cream or something cold plus a dessert or cookies. At night the Epcot Ball transforms to a colorful sphere while fireworks burst in the sky. You can make reservations on the app for a sit down meal. We visited while their Flower Festival was on exhibit. Lots of characters made of flowers from Bambi to Buzz Light Year.

We went here on our second day at Disney World. The highlight of the Epcot park is the villages from different countries. I will try to remember most of them: Norway, China, UK, Germany, France, Morocco, and Africa (which is not a country), and Mexico. Oh, and Japan. Almost forget Japan. My favorites were Norway, Germany, France, UK, and China since I had been those places. I've been to Mexico many times and Japan once but those replicas did not make a big impression on me. Each village has a representation of cultures and food. There are, of course, stores to buy country-themed products. In Epcot, we had Mexican at La Cantina. It was not bad at all and actually very flavorful chicken tacos for me and rice bowls with barbacoa for the wife and kid. I tried a Nigerian meat pie at the African Outpost which was very good quality and flavor. And I tried a Moroccan wrap with chicken at the Tangerine Cafe. It tasted like smoked chicken and was good although I was hoping for more spices. The Epcot is not the park for lots of rides like Animal Kingdom. There are somewhat fewer people but it is still crowded.

I can't believe my first time going to Disney World and fulfilling my childhood dream was with 9 other grown dudes (worth every cent). We did "Around the World": every drink and food item did not disappoint (China and France carried). The rides were fun and engaging (looking at you, Remy), and the nighttime fireworks show was beautiful. 5/5 recommend.

We've been Passholders for many years now! I love Epcot the best because every time we come it always looks different with flowers and food! The best thing about it my wife and I will go to various food vendor sections and will get a variety of food and share. At the end of the day we are full and won't spend more than $60 to $80 at the most! Everyone is always super friendly at each section as well as each ride. We've learned over the years to don't get in a rush and to just take our time walking around. If we don't visit that area during this visit we just make a note of it and make sure we do it on our next visit. * Our travel Disney plans are to visit each park at least 4 to 5 times each year to make sure we get our money worth vs passholders! We only live 2.5 hours away from Disney.... So far Epcot and Animal Kingdom is my favorite!

We recently knocked out a bucket list item at EPCOT--Drinking Around the World--and let me tell you... it's every bit as fun (and dangerous ) as it sounds. For those who don't know, World Showcase features 11 countries, and the goal is simple: grab a drink in each one. Sounds easy... until you're about 6 countries in and questioning your life choices. Each pavilion really brings its own vibe, and that's what makes this so much fun. You're not just drinking--you're kind of "traveling" as you go. Some drinks were amazing, some were just okay, but the experience as a whole is what makes it worth it. About halfway through, we slowed things down and had lunch at the San Angel Inn Restaurante inside the Mexico Pavilion. This place is always a win. The atmosphere alone is worth it--dim lighting, the indoor "nighttime" setting, and views of the boat ride make it feel like you're sitting in a quiet little Mexican village. The food hit the spot too, especially as a much-needed break from all the drinks. It's the perfect place to reset, cool off, and recharge before continuing your journey around the world. Pro tip: pace yourself, drink water (seriously), and don't skip the food stops. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Overall, this was one of the most fun experiences we've had at Disney. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and a perfect mix of adventure and chaos. We'd absolutely do it again--maybe just a little slower next time!

Epcot was recently on one of Yelp's most photographed lists, and made me even more excited for my first trip to Walt Disney World. After visiting, I absolutely see why! Spaceship Earth isn't just a giant golf ball that I've jokingly said. Favorites: Ride - Cosmic Rewind and Living with the Land Food - Chefs de France (Fruits de la Mer) Drink - Chefs de France (St Germaine Cocktail) Atmosphere - Space 220 Overall, one of the better parks as I didn't care for Magic Kingdom (Disneyland is far superior) or Hollywood Studios (prefer Disney California Adventure). However, it is absolutely unnecessarily spread out with lots of unused space. Perhaps due to being there between festivals? I didn't care for the journey to go to the world showcase to other areas. Plus, there's virtually no shade or seating in a lot of areas. Definitely a park I would try to only do at rope drop or evenings as we did early entry to park close, which was far too much for me. Definitely a place worth seeing and photographing in your lifetime!

Been coming to Epcot since I was a kid, but I don't appreciate this park until I got older. I guess you can think why We always start with Mexico, I personally love going into the temple to order my drink at their indoor bar. Don't be weirded-out, but the Avocado margarita is spectacular. I get champagne in Italy. The Milky sake in Japan. And the orange fro-se in France

Giant game pieces, oversized footprints, building blocks used as architecture, and Christmas lights strung overhead as decoration all reinforced the scale in a way that rewarded me for actually looking around rather than just moving from ride to ride. Slinky Dog Dash is the anchor attraction and delivered as a family coaster that works for a wide range of ages. It is smooth, fast enough to feel exciting, and the Toy Story theming throughout the track layout is well integrated. Wait times regularly stretch past an hour, so prioritizing it early in the day or using Lightning Lane is the practical move. Toy Story Mania is an interactive 4D shooting game that holds up across multiple rides and was genuinely competitive and fun for my group. Alien Swirling Saucers is the gentler option that skews younger, but it is an easy yes for anyone who does not mind spinning. Woody's Lunch Box is worth building a meal or snack stop around. The totchos and grilled cheese are the items that keep coming up for good reason, and the Lunch Box Tarts are worth grabbing for dessert if I want something to eat while I keep moving through the land. The one consistent practical note is that the area has very little shade and gets genuinely hot during the middle of the day. Coming in during the early morning or staying into the evening is the right call. At night the land takes on a different quality with the lighting, and it is worth lingering in if my park day extends into the evening hours.

I don't know where you get the photos, though--I didn't see a place to tap for my PhotoPass so we missed out on whatever picture we may have gotten. I don't need a "plot" to my amusement park rides... but this one just shows different characters and events from Frozen, being a much beloved movie. It's a water ride but I don't think we got wet at all (and I probably wouldn't have cared if we had). It's a very popular ride, with 50 minute or longer wait times standard, so we had this as one of our lightning lanes. (As much as I enjoyed the ride, I don't think there's any ride I would want to wait an hour for if I could use a LL to avoid it.) I liked this one more than Remy, so if I had to choose I'd probably make my way to Norway (Remy has the advantage there since it's in France, near the boat/Skyliner entrance we used to the park).

This year I opted for Epcot After Hours since I was getting in late enough that a day park ticket…read moredidn't make sense, so I made sure to ride Frozen Ever After because there's always a massive line whenever we've been to Epcot. Now after having ridden the ride (think slightly more chill POTC but Frozen themed) it was short enough that anything over 45 minutes would be too much of a wait for it in my opinion. I'd either recommend a LL if they have them or riding it during EE or After Hours - otherwise personally I'd skip it. The boat was wet that we sat in, but seated in the second row I didn't see any splashing. I did find it interesting that the boat flipped backwards and the ride ended up being designed a bit more differently than I expected. All in all, it's a cute ride, but I felt like Remy had more bang for your buck - so unless I'm with someone who hasn't ridden it before (and it's EE/AH) I see myself continuing to skip it in the future.

SAIL ACROSS THE SEA AND RESTORE THE HEART OF TE FITI…read more We really enjoyed doing the Moana Journey of Water located in the EPCOT World Nature Seas Pavilion. Park guests can stay dry or get as wet as they want while they take a self-guided journey through Moana's world. The Journey took us through a lush tropical island where we soon met the island goddess Te Fiti. On our journey, we played music with streams of water, raised water with the swish of our hands, parted a water fall and directed a dance of leaping streams of water. These are really fun activities for both young and old. Bring a set of dry clothes for your little ones who might enjoy getting wet on the splash pad :o). Try to time your journey with a character meet and greet with Moana. Plus don't forget to drop by the wonderful SeaBase aquarium that is near the Journey of Water.

Even though this is a walk-through journey, just like the other rides, you cannot take a stroller into this exhibit. There are some really fun elements to this, such as the first water encounter where you can pass hour hand through the strings of water to hear some duvet tones. There's a spot where you can jump and the water will respond, and a section where you can raise your arms for a similar effect. There's a wet and a dry path for folks to choose, though I don't think I got wet almost at all but for the time when I placed my hand in the water, and that was walking the wet path. It can get slick in spots though. And there's a PhotoPass opportunity on the path, so you can get a fun photo with Te Fiti in the background. And interestingly, there's a restroom in the midst of the journey. Across from this exhibit is a spot where Moana does meet-and-greets several times per day. As of May 2026, the last one takes place at 3 p.m. Don't forget your autograph book!

Typhoon Lagoon is shipwrecked tropical island themed with the biggest wave pool in the country. The waves reach 6 feet high and are intense enough to slide a bikini down (so I've heard). There are slides for 2+ so you can adventure together. Lazy River is pretty spacious and has floaty chairs -game changer. Not sure how I can go back to a standard tube after that. Loungers, chairs and picnic tables were available first come first serve. The reserved areas were booked up but we found the perfect location for all five of us. Sun and shade with the nearest bartender just a few steps away. The Mai Thai and Rum Runner were absolutely delish. Was happy to see hard cider available. Disney's magic is keeping the park clean and beautifully landscaped all day long. The water was always that perfect cool and refreshing temp, and crystal clear. Cast members always remind me why Disney is the best.

Food options were limited but the souvenir beer cup came with the cheapest drink refills I saw in any park other than the bottomless resort cups. Lazy river was pretty unspectacular but made for a nice transport method from one attraction to the other. Raft rides were nice but nothing special. I did not try the body slides so maybe there is something there? Again, a great way to recover mid long trip, but not terribly fun. Def go on check-in day for a free park day!
