I like that they have limited choices and that they do taste good together. I got the Silly Rabbit on a cone. I think I did the smart thing because it comes with a drip cup (if that's what it's called), and it's definitely my favorite. That cereal mil core is a great surprise. My wife got the Puffy in a cup and she liked it a lot. I'm not a big fan of the peanut butter core, but it works well. It's definitely more drippy since it doesn't have a drip cup attachment, so keep a few napkins ready. The lobby is nice, clean and I like the furniture. I first tried this place last summer shortly after it opened and I wasn't really impressed. I went back to give it another try. I always try to take multiple factors into account if I don't love a restaurant and am always willing to try somewhere again. And let me just say I LOVE ice cream. I eat it almost every day and don't necessarily consider myself picky about it, I just love it! I got the Gone Campin, which is chocolate soft serve covered in nuts, graham crackers, and toasted marshmallow on the cone. I just wasn't impressed again. I am not saying it is bad because I didn't think it was bad. But there is something about it that I just don't love that much. If I am going to eat something as decadent as the ice cream is that is offered here, it needs to be amazing. The staff was nice and the decor is cute but at the end of the day if I don't love the ice cream the ice cream shop offers, it is not somewhere I would return to. Inside is fun and relatively easy to navigate. with pared down menu that I think makes it easier to choose. Our group had: - Silly Rabbit; a vanilla cone, coated in Trix cereal with a super fruity "cereal milk" core that kicks in on overdrive near the bottom. It's a tall mountain of tasty soft serve, but the priority on aesthetics means it's tough to eat. Even in a cup, it was super drippy and needs to be taken down fast. - Basic B; a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate with sea salt. My wife really enjoyed this one, and like all three, it was messy but good. - Thick Mint; My kiddos choice, chocolatey soft serve and crushed Ande's mints around it. I don't particularly enjoy chocolate ice cream, but theirs was nice. To me chocolate + mint is a GOAT combo, so I'd get this next time. She devoured it. I think this spot is a lot of fun, and KC doesn't have all that many ice cream shops compared to some city's, so it's a welcome addition. The menu is a small one and the items are pretty decadent. We had the Cookie Crumbles and the Basic B. As the name implies, the Basic B was a simpler option...a dipped cone with a caramel core, sprinkled with sea salt. Look at the Cookie Crumbles! It doesn't get much more decadent than that! This place is in Westport and a part of the chain out of Denver that owns snooze and the Denver biscuit company and a pizza place (can't recall the name). I ordered the cookie crumble which is a vanilla soft serve, oreo crumbs, chocolate chip cookie dough and brown sugar soft fudge core.....let me break it down for you because I KNOW, that sounds like a lot for your tastebuds. The vanilla soft serve has a strip of brown sugar fudge core. Which taste like chocolate fudge but its in the middle of the ice cream...how they do it I have no idea. Then they cake oreo crumbs on the outside and its coated with the oreo crumbs so you don't even see the vanilla soft serve and keep in mind that core is in the middle of your soft serve, its a nice surprise if you forget about it and start getting to the middle. And then they take little balls of cookie dough and place it on the soft serve mound covered in oreo cookie crumbs. It does sound like a lot, but me being someone that doesn't like toppings, I absolutely loved this! You can get it in a cone or cup. Beware both options are messy so get LOTS of napkins! They do have vegan options, my friend got the Samoa Samoa. That has lots of coconut and I believe a coconut soft serve. As a result, that also means when you have young children waiting, you want service to be prompt. Now the for the price, I feel like I didn't get my moneys worth. I also ordered a pint because it was only a little bit more, but at least I could take it home and enjoy later. (Which I did, tried a few days later, and was not impressed.) They also didn't have the pint we ordered in the freezer so after searching in the back we settled with a different flavor. I love the feel of this store. It gives me a vibe of like modern 70's (if that's even a thing). I love that the menu is limited, but even though it limited it's hard to choose which to try. I did enjoy the outer cookie crumb and of course cookie dough. I did not care for the fudge center though. It has the consistency of unbaked brownie batter and was very bitter. The cone seemed a little stale as well. I did appreciate that with the cone there was this drip guard, which was very needed! I did try some of my husbands. It was good, but personally I didn't care for the cereal in the ice cream. I would warn you that the dish is very small, and they pile the ice cream high.
