First timer! Let's just say I'm stuffed!! I ordered Combo platter and hubby ordered Steamed shrimp platter all included potatoes, corn, and sausage. I added 2 eggs. Garlic butter sauce .. Not a favorite maybe bc I've had crab boils in Juicy crab sauce. Large shrimp but a bit rubbery. Crabs were just right. Large red potatoes were tender. I didn't eat the pork smoked sausage Seafood spinach dip was tasty. Plenty of shrimp & crawfish. Generous portions! Chips were fresh for dipping Service was top tier. I attended a private event here on February 13. I assisted with the set up. The owner was the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. I was so excited to try this place but his unprofessionalism was horrible. Upon arrival, he did ask her team to assist me with unloading my truck and the did a great job. The bartender was awesome, assisted us in more ways than most. While setting up the stage area for a buffet style feast, the owner approached and asked if we wanted to move the food over by the entrance in front of the window because he will not be liable if someone falls. We politely declined and assured him that no one would fall and we didn't want the food be in a high traffic area such as the entrance and certain didn't want people just linger around the food. He didn't like that at all and stated " I swear! Can't tell you nothing! " I looked at him and asked if he was serious? He kept walking and didn't return. Now being that this was a Krab spot. Everyone was excited about the Crab Boil! Well he lead with wings, shrimp, broccoli chicken Alfredo, salmon, all were good! The broccoli was extremely good! Next he brought out the shrimp and potatoes from the crab boil, then he brought out corn from the shrimp boil and buffalo shrimp. Still no crabs. While we ate and play games and drew door prizes, we were approached by the owner who was passing out oyster Rockefeller one by one instead of putting out pans of them on the buffet line like we paid for. This was his way of skimming on the oysters. Event started at 6, it was now 9 and still no crabs. Some guests were leaving, still no crabs. At 9:46 he appeared with a pan of crab legs. Again, he didn't put pans of them on the buffet line, he instead passed them out cluster by cluster. A lot of guest had left already and again this was a way for him to skim on the crab legs as well! At this point we had begun to break down our set up. This man had full attitude while presenting planner with an INFLATED $7,000 bill! Not the price agreed upon! This place was a great experience! Family owned and they make everyone feel like family when you walk in. The seafood was VERY FRESH! It all came out hot and not like warm. They were super accommodating, and our waiter Nemo was a excellent! I was visiting from out of town and it was a breath of fresh air. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of is the "sauce" it was supposed to be garlic butter, however it tasted like it was store brought. What is a problem for me is that each time I have come they could not offer alcoholic cocktails because the owner was not there. I guess the two servers are underage. So we went in in the middle of the afternoon and we were the only people there, so I thought to myself don't judge it could be a slow day for them ( Sunday). Glad my mind works like that because we ordered one seafood platter and it was enough for two (only if one of you guys are not a big eater). The food was tasty just a tad over seasoned for me but still good. Heres my warning the drinks including tea comes in a bottle and unless you order another bottle you're not getting anything else to drink, no refills on the bottle people. Disappointed was a mild statement to say the least. The people were friendly and very helpful with the menu items. I recently went to all you can eat and went back the next week and price went up. I think the prices are high to make up for not too many people doing business there.
