The chocolate shake with Lucky Charms on top was the perfect beverage to accompany the hot salty fries and double bacon cheese smash burgers. Service was great. This is always one of my favorite burger place. Yesterday their customer service stepped up to a whole new level. as I was towing a trailer I could not go through the drive thru. I parked in the lot and walked up to the window. I place my order 3 number 5's two cokes one chocolate shake. Because I had walked up it's through their system a little out of whack. They gave my order to a car that had gone through the drive thru. It took them a little bit longer to replace my order. I absolutely love eating Frugals on my lunch break or after work! I've never had a problem with waiting too long for an order, I think the longest I've waited at the window was about 5 minutes. And that was a 4 person order, each of us getting a combo. I die for the Mushroom burger it's so good! My only complaint is that every once in awhile, the burgers can be waaaay too greasy, but this only happens 1 of 5 times so i probably caught them RIGHT before the grill was wiped. Just not good.. I've been eating at frugals since I was young. I hadn't in many years. I did tonight with my family. They were not busy at all we were the only ones there. I got the chicken club not breaded. The chicken was super thin and like rubber. My bacon was really burnt as was my daughters. I can't believe what people get away with serving. They have two drive through lanes, and if you take the left, its a little strange picking up your order through the passenger window. But they hold a lot of seats inside their storefront right next door. We were able to enjoy cold crisp air conditioning and a clean place to sit while eating. Our fries were flavorful and crispy. The cheeseburgers were incredibly delicious/seasoned savory. It was the perfect place to stop by while shopping for toys and comic books, thrifting for clothes, and eating ice cream. The manager is such a great guy, who loves the city and his community. He goes out of his way to making sure customers are enjoying what they order. We will be back!
