Juicy burgers, filling fries, sweet staff. Super fun place to bring your kids. They are cooking out of a truck type of culinary establishment. But they hold a lot of seats inside their storefront right next door. We were able to enjoy cold crisp air conditioning and a clean place to sit while eating. Our fries were flavorful and crispy. The cheeseburgers were incredibly delicious/seasoned savory. It was the perfect place to stop by while shopping for toys and comic books, thrifting for clothes, and eating ice cream. The manager is such a great guy, who loves the city and his community. He goes out of his way to making sure customers are enjoying what they order. We will be back! read more

Delicious and affordable. Here's the thing nobody told me - like any Tacoman I grew up on Frisko Freeze but I went there recently and it's no secret they aren't like they used to be. Guess what? Bomb Burger IS what I remember Frisco tasting like back in the day. Maybe slightly less greasy and messy, but that's a good thing in my book. Four stars because all I've had is the one burger, next time I'll try more stuff and update. read more

Reposting because my first review got removed for the wrong location, but this was the correct food truck. There was confusion about the red sauce on my burger. The owner said they don't use ketchup but didn't explain what it was. I later found out it was the hickory sauce on the Smoke Burger. The sauce just wasn't for me. It soaked the bread, made it soggy, and ruined the burger. I also wish the response had been more helpful or at least tried to make it right. On the positive side, the service was great. The staff were friendly and the outdoor seating was comfortable and relaxing. The fries were really good too, hot and crispy. Overall, I liked the atmosphere and service, but the sandwich missed the mark for me. read more

Their burgers are good but they should take the sign that says "Always fresh, never frozen". When I was ordering my burger, I saw the guy put away a box of frozen hamburger patties. Just be honest with your products, you cook up a good burger. No need for false advertisement. read more

Since the pandemic the quality of restaurants, including fast food, has deteriorated significantly. So much so that I no longer enjoyed even iconic local hamburgers. I just stop eating them. My son recommended Bomb Burger saying it is the best in town. Wow, was he right. I had the Bomb Burger with cheese and bacon, onion rings, and a Dr Pepper. Then I went back up and got a chocolate peanut butter shake. Everything was great. Freshly made on the flat top and still hot. It is a food truck however they have inside and outside seating. The place was hopping. The service was fast and friendly. I hope you will support this local business. read more

This very simple burger packs quite the punch to the tastebuds. I ordered the onion rings and Bomb burger with two patties & cheese. The onion rings with fry sauce were very good. Crunchy and tasty. The burger was tasty too but I noticed some of the lettuce looked a bit expired (super wilted) but overall was good. Order was quick, service was friendly. I'll come back again! read more

I ordered a double burger, Plain and specified only CHEESE and bacon. When I arrived before my estimated complete time I got my burger right away, but it felt very light! This was the SMALLEST most pathetic burger I have ever had the displeasure of eating! It clearly had been sitting, wasn't fresh and had NO CHEESE. And for $11??!! What a RIP OFF! read more

These burgers are the bomb just like the name. Flavor in the food is obviously fresh, cooked to order. Friendly, takes a bit of time when there's a line but worth it. Great truck, the onion rings are KILLER and the SAUCE is grandmas secret recipe! Not your default sauce. Love this place- wish it was in Olympia too! read more

A food truck with an added bonus...there is indoor(with a bathroom )and a little outdoor seating .Handy,when,like me,working,with a chance to clean up etc whilst waiting for a tasty burger.The fries are really good and they load you up.Had the chicken once and that was worth having again,very moist with light breading.I went for the Swiss,onion,mushroom burger...two patties.Not greedy,just makes for a better sandwich.Staff are friendly,not your chain drive thru robotic mentality....tiny parking lot and a bit on the street.Now,you could walk down the street and sit down and pay $27.00 for a burger,but this place suits me just fine when I'm in a pinch to snag a quick bite. read more

So glad we finally stopped bye this food truck on our way to get frisko freeze. We saw quite a large line so we gave it a try. Ummmmm Yummy! Way cheaper than frisko and the burgers were Devine. Went there on a whim recently as I happened to see it while driving by. It was okay. Nothing really special about it. Grocery store style buns and barely seasoned meat. I was expecting them to be friendlier, as food trucks are pretty personal spaces in which the owners take pride. I was the only one there and it felt as if I was an inconvenience to them. I ordered the single patty Bomb burger with cheese, fries and regular fry sauce. The burger was good, I'd order it again. It reminds me of a blend between Frisko Freeze and the Go Philly smash burger: juicy, saucy, messy, flavorful yet simple. The fries were crispy, but not seasoned. The fry sauce tasted like a blend between ranch and an Italian dressing. Overall, I'd return for a burger and would try the onion rings instead of fries. Bomb burger and Smoke burger were both spectacular! Also the fries were incredible, not too dry, not too greasy or floppy- not sure what everyone else in these reviews are complaining about... they had to be smoking crack because these burgers (and fries) were way better than frisko freeze! The food at bomb burger is way less greasy than frisko freeze which is what we really appreciated. Only critique would be size- wish the burgers were a little bit bigger. Bomb Burger was pretty good. Burger had good juiciness/moisture and sauce was exceptional. Soft buns. A real delight. Fries were decent too. Though it looks like their onion rings are frozen (I saw a big plastic bag of them being unloaded). Overall an affordable yummy choice for a burger in Tacoma, which is becoming increasingly rare. read more

Scrumptious food and very generous portions for the sides of fries and onion rings. Burgers were delicious and juicy and cooked well. Service was fast and efficient. They bombed alright and not in a good way. I was disappointedly unimpressed with the good from this truck. I should have guessed by the lettering on the truck that reads, Powered by Its Greek to Me. First off, the truck and it's window are so high off the ground that you literally have to use their step ladder to order your food and pay. The menu is simple and I'm in search of a good place to get good burgers so I stopped by and ordered. Simple double burger and a side of fries. I don't understand the trend but much like other places, they serve your burger to you inside of a bag in another bag. This ensures that you will make a big mess of it all before you'll ever even take your first bite. Overall, burgers pretty much have the same elements but some really stand out more than others do. Maybe it's the type of bun, maybe its a unique sauce but whatever it is Bomb Burger had nothing really helping it stand out. The patties are small and thin and everything tastes correct but I'd place it somewhere above McDonald's but well below Dick's. With so many small boutique burger joints popping up, they have a lot of competition. The fries were a large portion that I couldn't finish so at least I wasn't left hungry after my meal. Normally I don't order fries because I don't like to pay extra money for fillers and to me that's all fries are but for a first try, I like to get them for the test. Nothing fancy or special but nothing bad to say about them either. The two guys in the truck are nice and treat customers well but now that I've been there, done that, I think I'll keep moving on. Good food and first time visiting a burger truck!! Friendly service, quick service, not a long wait! Limited menu which was fine because it was easy to make a selection. Brandin got the cheeseburger and I got the double smoke burger with cheese. Couldn't really tell the difference from the smoke and the regular though so not sure the extra $ was worth it. The burgers were great! Delicious and filling! The fries were good, eat them quick, they are greasy but delicious, onion rings too, wouldn't have minded a little crunch, but over all really good! This spot is pure Tacoma. Ive had bomb burger numerous times and have had a great experience on every visit. The burgers are delicious, the fries are crispy and plentiful, and the price is something to jump at. I see other people being displeased with The environment, mostly of the indoor seating. While yes that option is currently a bit grungy. It's clearly an outstanding truck getting its footing in the expansion that It deserves. If you ever see the bomb burger truck definitely give it a try. read more

Solid food truck on 6th Avenue serving up Bomb burgers. Overall simplistic approach with their menu and love it. Had both with cheese and one with bacon. The burger to topping ratio was a bit off and could use more burger from it. Next time I'll go with the double with cheese. The bun sauce is tasty and the choice of veggies top it off. Perfect amount on the sandwich. No complaints overall. The fries were great but I love my sodium and probably could have used a shake or two of salt over them. They have a lot of seating inside, a well-maintained bathroom, a water station, a spot to open bottled drinks and more. You order through a kiosk as my boyfriend and I stood at the ordering spot and they seemed too busy to notice us. Once we placed our order, we saw how efficient the workers were at getting orders made. They were quite busy when we arrived and even afterwards as there was people coming in to order or pick up orders. We ordered the Saeuji, Seoul Burger, Bulgogiger, Biscoff Shake, Hwachaeji, Fanta, garlic French fries, and french fries. The food and drinks were all so good, but we all agreed that the Saeuji was the best of the three. The Biscoff Shake was refreshing and smooth and I really enjoyed the modern twist on hwachaeji.

I had a really unpleasant experience at Bomb Burger on 6th Ave. The person taking my order had just come in from break and went straight to taking my order. From the beginning, his attitude toward me was rude and unwelcoming. I said hi and he didn't acknowledge me or speak back. I accidentally used the wrong card, and instead of simply explaining what needed to happen, he got a attitude/with a aggressive voice with me and told me he had to continue the transaction before I could use my other card. The card I thought wasn't going to work ended up going through, but he still had an attitude. Even after all of that, I said "thank you" at the end and he didn't acknowledge me or say anything back. What really didn't make the situation any better was seeing his interaction with another customer. He was noticeably more polite, actually spoke to them, and even told them to "have a good day." Seeing that difference in treatment after the way he interacted with me definitely stood out. For context, I'm Black and he was white. I can't say what his reasoning was, but the difference in how I was treated compared to the other customer made the interaction even more uncomfortable. I still got the food because my sister specifically requested Bomb Burger, but I wasn't happy with the experience at all. The food itself was honestly mid, messy, and looked like it was just thrown together. After the interaction from the beginning, that only made the overall experience worse. I understand people have bad days, but there was no reason to be rude or get an attitude with me over a simple mistake, especially when I remained respectful the entire time. Between the customer service, the noticeable difference in treatment, and the food, I probably wouldn't return based on this experience. read more

Terrible food. Visited twice and the 2nd time I got really sick hours after eating. My friend who was with me just got fries, so we narrowed it down to spoilt meat or condiments. Followed up with the health department too. I've read some other reviews to see if the same thing has happened to others and I'm glad it hasn't, but the "manager" who replies to negative reviews is extremely rude and it looks like a few others felt the same way. If you keep telling patrons who pay your bills to "go to other places" and "good thing there's other places to dine" then they will do just that. But it's true, there are plenty of others restaurants that won't make you sick and have kind customer service. read more

This place is good. If you are craving a burger then try it out! My girlfriend got the smoke burger and i got the double cheese add bacon. Good sauce and good fries. I did read some of the other replies from the owner and think they are really rude. You can't please everyone but I do think you should treat your customers better. And please hire someone better to run your social media accounts. 5 obnoxious posts a day is annoying and we had to unfollow. read more
