It looks to be a Lao/Thai/Burmese/Southeast Asian fusion truck and I'm SE Asian myself so of course I was intrigued by the menu. The Lao burger caught my attn but I went for the Satay skewers for a ez bite. The skewers came in 3 and were tender and well seasoned! The peanut sauce that accompanied it was quite thick but I didn't mind it hahah I brought it home and dipped some crackers in it. If they did a solid skewer, I'm confident their more decadent items will satisfy so I'm def gonna pay another visit when I can! Met Thiri and Deven who were hard at work but maintained smiles and warmth. Wishing them great success!

Toasted brioche buns top and bottom, caramelized onions, pickles, and two black angus patties--smashed of course. And plenty of condiments. No fancy ingredients, but they made it well for what it was. The chef's name was Deven and he can cook! It's a food truck, so there's really no ambiance. Today was a test run: owners were very open with their experience and they shared some of their initial issues that they have to overcome. The inside of the truck is loud because of the fan, so they have trouble hearing customers. Their truck is limited, so they're not able to do some of the other foods they want to experiment with. And their ordering system is limited in their ability to customize food. Hopefully they'll be able to tackle these issues when they formally open. Their openness gave me a newfound respect for how difficult it can be operating a food truck. They were super nice, so I hope that they can succeed.

We had about 90 minutes to kill so had a look about, There were lot's of tents with games set up for children to play, a mini market selling crafts and some food stalls but I saw a severe lack of Salsa! lol. Maybe I shouldn't have taken the name too seriously as I was expecting to be able to get some Chips and Salsa to eat or even see some Salsa Dancing but no. There was also a big tent set up for Tequila tasting but there was not one drop of Tequila in sight or any indication when the event might start. I witnessed about 5 minutes of Music in the main square where a very large group of people had gathered waiting but then... nothing. For 10 minutes we stood there thinking ''well, everybody else is here, there must be something big about to happen''. So we waited... and waited... Still nothing. We eventually got bored and headed to The Sandwich Spot instead.

It was definitely a fun weekend event worth going to (since it was free). You do have to purchase salsa tasting packs though. I bought the 20 dollar pack, but I definitely think that it was unnecessary. Stick to the smaller amount because we had way too much for two people. My gripe is that my top three votes didn't make it to the top three?!?! Wtheck, maybe my tastebuds were off that day.

I have experienced many a taco spot... and nothing compares to the utter freshness, flavor and bang-for-your-buck type of value that is offered here. Due to the Lenten season, my hubs and I were looking for a place that offered seafood tacos and this place was rumored to be the best. After stopping by on our way out of town recently, we knew instantly this was true. The aguas frescas are served iced cold and 100% fresh. My agua de guayaba and my hubs' agua de tamarindo were absolutely to die for. You could absolutely taste the fresh fruit for each. Now for the best part. On Friday's they have a special: $5 fish tacos with tortillas made fresh and by hand... complete with all the fixings. The fish is hand battered, made to order and served piping hot, dressed with cabbage, pico de gallo, and a combination of mayo and chipotle aioli. The picture simply doesn't do it justice, folks. Hands down, the best fish tacos in the area. 100/10. The team aboard this truck are friendly, quick and serve every dish up with a smile. Truly elevating the unique experience. While I was only lucky enough to stop for fish tacos, I look forward to future trips to Los Carnalitos for a sampling of their many menu options, especially the fried banana for dessert!! Note: this truck accepts both cash AND card... and they do honor door dash orders!

Los Carnalitos is among the best.

Awesome worker (the one making and calling out the orders) recommended the kamikaze dog, probably cuz he was a pro at making them. I got it without the sriracha, and it was perfect! A sweet and savory combination of flavors, especially with the semisweet grilled bun and thick and juicy beef frank, not your ordinary hot dog, it will have you craving more after your last bite. And the fries remind me of amusement park fries I haven't had since I was younger, not too oily and the taste was quite good, I couldn't resist even though I normally prefer less carbs. Altogether, it made for a satisfying meal. I know the food truck does plenty of private events and catering, but it would be nice if there was a way to more easily find their upcoming locations open to the public, since they don't seem to have an official website or updated social media page. I only knew they were at SubZERO this past weekend cuz of word of mouth. Anyway, if looking for unique gourmet hot dogs and burgers, I recommend Road Dogs.
