It very cozy, the owner and family were very nice and the food came out quickly . Over all great place for a nice refreshing paletas and drink. I had a mangoneada which was awesome. Came here with my cousin for a mangonada, per Yelp's recommendation. I feel like this would be surprising to anyone who knows me well, but this was my first time ever ordering a mangonada, anywhere. It was everything I hoped it would be, and then some. They gave me the works: Mango ice cream with Tajin, chamoy, tamarind candies, and a tamarind coated straw. I was surprised by how spicy it was, but it still tasted amazing. On top of offering a variety of phenomenal aguas frescas, the store also sells an assortment of Mexican candies and frozen fruit bars. The lady who helped us was very friendly and we got our order quickly. My cousin didn't order anything, leaving me to shamelessly enjoy my ice cream beverage by my lonesome. If you're craving something refreshing and made with real fruits, this is the place. Every time I visit the carniceria nearby, this place is a must. I'm always craving their aguas. I love that they allow you to mix them and I'm always getting their pineapple and coconut aguas and mixing them... yummmm. My husband likes to get the diablito and they put delicious sweet mangos inside. They have paletas here and they also sell food, but I haven't tried their other items. Honestly, it's been really hot lately, so that's why I'm always getting the aguas, but their paletas look delicious. They also sell Mexican candies right by the front and snacks. What caught my attention is the decor. I love the dia de los Muertos decoration. I love the colors and the beautiful pictures. I'm not Mexican, but I can appreciate their culture and the deep connection they have with their family and their roots. Every time I have visited here, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if this is a family establishment, but so far I have never had a bad experience here. They have tons of options for everyone in the family and there's tons of seats for everyone. It's across town from me, which is probably a good thing since I enjoy their goods so much. If you're unfamiliar with this type of place, and shame on you if you are, then it's essentially a homemade popsicle, ice cream, and overall glorious place to be. I do not recall the exact name of my order. Chopped fruits with lemon and chile powder is how I would describe it. There were cucumbers, mangoes, pineapples, watermelon, cantaloupe, and jicama included. Tasted good as well. We shared both orders, and it was so filling that it turned out to be our dinner for the day. The shop itself was clean, and there were a few tables inside and outside to dine at. Service was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Chances of returning are high. Plenty of other items that I want to try here. You should try them yourself too. read more

I've been coming to this place for about a month and a half now, and I absolutely LOVE it. I come almost everyday now! The owners are incredibly kind and would help you if you have any questions. I first came in here for a diablito in late September, it was amazing for my first time. My next visits, I always tried something different everytime. They have a lot of paleta and agua fresca flavors. They have a diverse menu, so there's always something new to try out whenever I visit. I recently tried their tortas and elote, and it's incredibly good! The prices are very affordable. They do charge extra if you use your card, so I only use cash when I go inside. read more

My wife has been coming to this place for years and boy was I glad she introduced me to Frutas Guadalajara. The prices are super affordable and the fruit is super fresh and delicious. If your having a gathering and are in need of some fresh fruit, call Frutas and order a tray of fresh fruit. Inexpensive and delicious. We usually order some mango, pineapple, coconut, watermelon, cantaloupe and some cucumber and jicama from time to time. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Call a day or two before ordering a big tray so when you roll in, its ready to go. I have to say one of my favorite items also is the fresh fruit ice cream. Similar to the ice cream pops like La Rosa and Helados, Frutas makes them in house. Definitely check out the coconut cream or fresh strawberry cream. Awesomeness. This place is amaaazing! I go to La Carreta a lot and we found this place next door one day when we were itching for some ice cream. They make all their ice cream and pops themselves, with really unique flavors that you wouldn't really find elsewhere. People are super friendly, and extra helpful, and I discovered the beauty of The Diablito here. No idea what the heck it's made out of, but it's delicious and has mango in it. I wouldn't know what to say about the food, I have yet to try it, mostly because when I come here, it's because I want something cold and sweet. But I do try new things every time I come in, and so does my family, and so far, nothing has disappointed! The only thing that really sucks about this place is that the parking is horrendous. But really, there's maybe 8 places that have one small lot dedicated to them, and so that probably contributes to the congestion there. I can't say I was impressed nor disappointed. We ordered a Bionico, which consisted of banana, apple, cantaloupe and strawberries. All topped with granola, shaved coconut and raisins. This place is better than the place next to Marshall's on Ming. Next time I definitely want to try the tortas and the nachos. Parking can be a pain during the day but we went in mid afternoon and it was empty due to the holiday shopping. The place itself is very small and will crowd up really quick. Can you ever go wrong with a Mexican paleteria? The fruit cups were good. All the fruit was ripe. It included Chile and lime in the fruit. The diablitos was good. Always a hit and miss with a diablito quite delicious. Wish it had more mango but it happens. The banana water was delicious. I do think it has milk in it though so ask if you are lactose. Yummy! I finally got a chance to try this place! I had no idea it was right by Costco! I kick myself for driving by this place weekly for 5 years and never knowing it existed! It's a tiny "mom and pop" style place. They have 4 tables and a few chairs tightly squeezed into their store; a small counter, a fridge with bottled drinks and a couple of freezes. No bathrooms. The menu is very basic, most of them handwritten: smoothies, slushies, ice cream and a few food items. There is nothing fancy about this place at all and I love it! I've been here 5 times in the last month and I have no intention of stopping! My usual order, for now, is a large bianico (for the husband) and the diablito slushy (for me). We have also gotten the strawberry smoothie. They were all delicious. The bianico is perfection. The fruits were fresh and the cream isn't overly sweet. I thought the strawberry smoothie was a bit on the sweet side the first time I got it and asked them to add a bit more lime and less sugar the second time, which they were happy to do and it was delicious. I believe they hand make their ice cream bars, which I have yet to try but intend to! I fathom that I will be frequenting this place often during the summer! My tostilocos had a very large amount of shredded carrots which I had never had and very little chips and skins. The vanilla ice cream was good.
