I got a coconut banana smoothie. It was really good, I liked it a lot. Perfect level of sweetness and as by the picture, you can tell it's pretty natural. It isn't neon colored and it tasted authentic. I'm going to definitely be returning to try other flavors as well as try their other items

This looks like a hole in the wall but their sandwiches (Tortas) are good! The owner's english isn't great but he's able to recommend some sandwiches to me; grilled chicken breast and the shredded pork are my favorites. There is a bit of a wait sometime so be prepared but you can also call it in advance as well.

Stop in one time. You'll be glad you did. Get a quick bite to eat or something for your sweet tooth. The Tortas are so filling.

I'm not sure if there's other international markets in this area that are really anywhere near as large (super huge stores like H-Mart, Assi, Seafood City, etc. are quite far from Mundelein). This store is truly impressive in the amount of options offered from hot food to produce to dried foods to foods from other local shops. Due to the size of the store, there is considerably more room to walk around and check out products here even where they're busy -- similar to the experience you'd get a Woodman's. The amount of decorations and displays is definitely much better here than most other grocery stores, rivaling Mariano's in terms of presentation. Prices are fair here, particularly for the international items which are competitively priced here compared to non-specialty stores. The produce is fresh and plentiful, with options for more unusual fruits and vegetables as well. At the end of the store, there's also a spot for dining and a few small shops. Overall worth a trip if you're looking for a one-stop-shop for all your grocery needs. This provides a comprehensive and enjoyable shopping expereince.

It definitely serves as a gathering place for the city, with a lot of families (young kids and a lot of strollers). There is a lot of free parking (street, parking garage, and the library), and it gets a little hectic with cars as one gets close. It's early in the season, so not a lot of variety of vegetables and fruit just yet. There is a lot of space, so even though some areas might get crowded, one can still get around pretty effectively (and there doesn't seem to be a preferred direction of folks moving...mostly hunt and peck when something catches your eye).
