My husband and I had a terrible experience with a server named Jason (we were at table 215 at the above mentioned establishment). After waiting for over 15 minutes for Jason to come clear our dirty dishes we decided to leave. We went up to cashier (no name provided. Female, White, brown hair and eyes and long eye lashes) who insisted on pouring gas on the already lit fire! Our total was $30.93 and I provided her cash; a fifty dollar bill. She proceeded to give me back $9.07: a $10.00 shortage. This lady was rude and proceeded to get snooty. She stormed off and a man wearing a different colored shirt approached and I asked if he was management. He insisted he was and I explained the situation. He apologized and had to tell the snooty register lady to leave the area. I explained to him that no one wants to be ignored. To train your people or step in to help. We wanted dessert but never got the chance.  Anyhow, can someone mail me my $10.00 that snooty register lady stole from me? read more

My husband and I ordered a to go order. First off he got the wrong order, which he ate anyway so that's whatever. Secondly, I ordered hash browns and eggs Benedict. Benedict was so great. However, the hash browns were literally inedible because they tasted like they had a whole bottle of salt on them. I am not over exaggerating, it felt like a prank was being played on me. my husbands hash browns tasted normal, which was even more confusing and really makes me think someone decided to pull a prank. I have never had food in my life where I have thought it was absolutely inedible to the point it was unsafe to eat. read more

The food isn't bad. However, all Fryn' Pans are now charging a surcharge for using a credit card. I don't plan to run to a cash machine to eat there. Businesses can write off credit card fees. Essentially, they are double dipping. Since Perkins doesn't do this, we will be eating there more often. read more

Service was sub par. The waiter/host passed by me & ignored me when I walked in. Passed by me again and mumbled something that maaaybe sounded like "I'll be with you". He didn't wear the mask that was hanging off his ears. I ordered 2 eggs 2 bacon bc I don't have much of an appetite in the morning but needed to eat something bc I was gonna have a long work day. He looked a little confused at my order. "How do you like your eggs?" "Boiled". "Boiled? What do u mean? Like over medium?" "No, like boiled. Um. Like you put it in boiling water for ten minutes. Do u guys not do that?" "Yeah I don't think so". Then he went to the computer and said, "Actually, we can't do two eggs two bacon." "What?" "Oh wait actually never mind. I found it." Then he brings me out 2 eggs, 4 bacon. Everything is really greasy, but that's not his fault. But 4 bacon pieces. That's too much bacon for my high-cholesterol self. I felt bad wasting it and I thought it would seem petty leaving it, so I ate it. Also bacon is so tempting. It was right there! I'm weak! Then I asked for the check. He brought it. As he collected my dishes, I put my card on the bill and said thanks. He walked away. I waited for 5 minutes. He passed by me twice. As he started ringing something up on a register near me, I asked "Do I pay up there?" He pretends like he didn't see me put my card on the bill earlier and says, "Oh yes, I'm sorry. I should've told you." There was something arrogant about him I wasn't sure about.. Like he disliked me bc I'm a woman? Not really sure. Overall: Bad service. This FryN Pan sucks for to go orders! Second time in a row I've ordered door dash late and then they don't give the option for special instructions (extra onion and crispy fries) so I try to call immediately and they just leave the phone on a busy signal. Last time my driver was amazing and I gave her a $20 tip on top of my original tip and the FP server a $5 tip cuz she admitted to my driver that "calls aren't a priority when they're busy" when last time I called, they put me on hold and then literally never came back which why my order (patty melt) cost me nearly $50 after tips to ensure I got what I wanted. Like I get you're busy but then don't offer door dash and to go orders if you can't handle it. So disappointed. The fact that this has happened twice in a row is very upsetting. Don't order to go, they can't be bothered to answer the phone. read more

Fryn' Pan is a Sioux Falls classic. Each of the 3 locations has its own vibe and I go to a different location depending on the mood I'm in, or, if it's after 2 a.m., which bar I've been at. The best part of your experience is almost always the people watching. I always get the chicken sandwich with fries and a side of ranch. Fryn' pan ranch is my absolute favorite. It beats homemade in my book. Nobody really goes for the food, but for me it is way better than Perkins, Ihop, or Denny's. Do yourself a favor and get a slice of mud pie for dessert! Also, currently kids eat free from 5-9 so for my husband, son and I our bill was $20, including a shared dessert. These days you can pay that at the drive thru. read more

My favorite stop for hot beef and turkey. Didn't disappoint. DH had the steak tip breakfast and he liked his as well. Did not have pecan pie that was advertised otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Very nice wait staff. read more

Good breakfast menu. The omelettes are worth a trip in. But haven't cared for the entrees for lunch and dinner in my experience. Lunch/Dinner foods that I have had are okay, but nothing exceptional. The salad bar in my experience has had some issues with not having fresh items on it. read more

I've gone there a lot and always order steak expecting it to be different every time but every time I get it, I get food poisoning and it doesn't taste right. And when I had order the fried sirloin steak tips, they're supposed to ask what kind of potatoes you want but our waitress never did and automatically assumed I wanted fries and when I told her I wanted hash browns, she refused to give me them. I ate here while I stayed in Sioux Falls for literally one night and it was amazing. Their spaghetti is top notch and I also loved their chocolate milk, salad, you name it. I stayed for quite awhile to relax and calm down and it worked! It was also very nice and cold in there, which was exactly what I needed when dealing with SD's awful humidity. My only complaint is that I wish my waitress was more attentive as I wanted to order a slice of pie before going. However, it was still a great experience for me. read more
