I've never been disappointed when I bite into a sandwich from Capriotti's. I love the vibe of the staff when I walk into the building and they are pretty fast at making those sandwiches. They give Jimmy Johns a run for their money! My favorites are the Hot Bobbie which tastes like Thanksgiving. Yep. it is roasted turkey with stuffing! My other favorite is the Slaw Be Jo which is stacked with beef slices and a ton of coleslaw. I've had coleslaw as a side at many sit-down restaurants and I am typically disappointed so I don't really trust anyone to get it right. But Capriotti's has a great coleslaw recipe. The coleslaw also makes the sandwhich juicy but not overly juicy where it becomes sloppy. Just perfect! The sandwiches are also really good sizes so you can eat half now and half later. read more

First time at Capriotti's, and you know what? Not bad. Not life-changing, not "tell my grandkids about it" good -- but solid. The place was clean, which is always a plus when you're about to eat food you didn't make. No sticky tables, no weird mystery crumbs... A+ for cleanliness. The staff was friendly and actually seemed to enjoy being alive, which is a rare and beautiful thing in the fast-casual world. Sandwich was pretty good -- nothing that made me want to write a love song about it, but definitely tasty enough to warrant a second date. Would I come back? Absolutely. On our way to Rapid City, we stopped here for lunch. Traveling on I90, just a heads up that it's about 6 miles south of the highway. With salad, soup, and sandwich options, there is something healthy for everyone for lunch. I opted for the half grilled Italian sandwich. Husband had the same plus a bowl of chicken noodle soup. They have a nice combo of two of soup, salad, or half sandwich. The toppings for the sandwich were grilled. I was hoping the bun would also be toasted but it was not. Bread was fresh. There were ample toppings. Staff was helpful (liked that they asked if I wanted peppers on my sandwich). You order at the counter then take your number to a table of your choice and they deliver food. The place was clean and open with several tables. Food came quickly. Nice stop. read more

Capriotti's is a great sandwich shop. We were a party of eight and everyone ordered something different. The service is good, you order at the counter, then go sit down to eat. They have outdoor dining as well as indoor. As mentioned before, everyone in the party ordered something different. I ate the Bobby sandwich and it was amazing. I was missing Thanksgiving and it's good to know you can go into Capriotti's and have a little Thanksgiving. This is a chain restaurant. The food was good but the service was mediocre. The woman who took our order came across as pretentious and impatient. She definitely had an attitude that was off-putting to me. They have a bunch of vegetarian options, which is great but most of their salads have meat in them. I've been here 3x now and I really like there sandwiches. Plus I love this location: its a clean restaurant, always friendly staff, and I really like the feature of ordering online and driving through the drive thru window (pick up only - no orders) for pick up. Great feature!! All three times my sandwich has been made correctly. And lets talk meat on the sandwich! This aint that crappy sandwich shop called Subway, where you ask yourself, WHERE'S THE MEAT!! Check out my 18" classic Italian sandwich pic. Holy moly there is meat! I didnt order extra meat either. Extra meat would need a larger bun because my sandwich was already over flowing. Side note: Not all Capriottis are created equal because my 1st ever visit was to one next to the University of Reno campus and that sandwich left me thinking nothing special here. I dont need to get a sandwich from Capriottis anymore, but I gave them a 2nd chance here and tried the one on Marion Ave and this place does everything right. So I'm a fan now! And when they say the sandwiches will be ready in 15 min when i order online, they are right! A lot of good things going on at this store. We ordered take out lunch for 3 of us recently. We tried a wagyu cheesesteak. A 'regulate' cheesesteak and a turkey sub. All were delicious with the only miss being the turkey was ordered )and paid for) with extra turkey - and the amount of turkey that was provided was not 'extra' by any of our views. The windows desperately need to have shades or tint installed- the direct sunlight is BRUTAL and made our lunch experience extremely unenjoyable! Deducted a star due to special corporate was running where got two subs for price of one if paid for most expensive one. Ordered both with a little extra meat and was charged that for both subs. Not this locations fault. Other than that a very good experience. This location is little different in that it's a stand alone building and can tell it's fairly new. They keep the place really clean and tables are wiped off fast. Happy July 4th everyone! The Butterball turkey on my 6" sandwich was fresh, and delicious! I wish there would have been more of it, since there was a lot of dense, chilled, bread (with a good amount of fresh veggies). Menu options seemed limited. I only saw one bread (white), honey mustard wasn't available, and iced tea wasn't available. The service at the counter was slow, with an extended wait behind six other customers, and only one active register. The dining area was clean and fairly new, with a TV, but without background music. Our first time here. We went inside rather than the drive through, but we're planning on taking our order to go. We let the gal at the counter know we had never tried Capriotti's and she gave us great recommendations. Our order came out promptly and we took our sandwiches home. We had planned to share (so we could try both!) and they were already sliced in half for us. VERY impressed with the quality and quantity of ingredients. I was finally on the west side of town and had a chance to try this place. I ordered the turkey and stuffing sandwich. The turkey is real turkey breast, like you'd cook for Thanksgiving. However, it needed seasoning. Also, warming it up on the flat top dried it out. The stuffing was ok, but also lacked seasoning. The signs say both are made in house daily. I realize they get the stuffing mix from corporate, so that is probably on them. Frankly, Stove Top has more taste. The cranberry sauce did add a welcome tang. Next time I'd probably order one of the sandwiches that has coleslaw on it. read more

This place was good but I would say for the cost that it should at least pass subway, but it didn't. I enjoyed the tuna sandwich and it was good but not as tasty. Not Very impressed. I had a sandwich and soup delivered. Here are the Pros: Made quickly; tastes pretty decent 7 out of 10); Friendly customer service Here are the Cons: Asked for mayo on sandwich - not put on it; Asked & paid for extra cheese - not only did I NOT see or taste the extra cheese but I couldn't even see the regular cheese! I luckily was able to put mayo & cheese on it as it was delivered to my home and not at work like I usually have done. I have had this exact same sandwich before and I could definitely tell that there was cheese, extra cheese and mayo on it. I do not have a microwave so I had to put in the cheese on at home & it basically made a cold sandwich. I did call to complain and spoke to a very nice young man who said that he actually made the sandwich and he did put extra cheese on it and mayo. He seemed sincere so this leads me to believe that they have cut way back on what they put on their sandwiches. It certainly was not worth the almost $16 that I paid for it. The soup was just okay, also. It tasted just like the Campbells Clam chowder Soup that I have bought in the store. All in all, I don't think I will be ordering from this restaurant again. read more

I was so excited to go to this place and try the sandwiches. I love a good cheese steak sandwich so I chose their classic 'award-winning' cheese steak. I could not have been more disappointed. It was the worst cheese steak sandwich I've ever tasted! So BLAND, the most unseasoned cheese steak sandwich I have ever eaten. I am certain it was not even salted. It was impossible to continue eating it. The others at the table tasted it and were also in total agreement. The staff was very nice, but unfortunately, if I don't love the food at the first visit, there will be no second chance, so I won't be going back. We live very close so it's nice to have a new place to check out. The food was pretty good and being able to choose between 6, 10, 12 and 15 inch sandwiches is fantastic. It was a little on the expensive side for what we got around $30 for a 12 inch sub, 6 inch sub, kids sandwich (which was on 2 pieces of white bread), little bag of cranberries, bag of chips, single cookie and two drinks. Knowing how much comes on the sandwich is good knowledge now because a 12 inch sub was too much for me so that would cut cost next time we visit ! read more
