On our way to Rapid City, we stopped here for lunch. Traveling on I90, just a heads up that it's about 6 miles south of the highway. With salad, soup, and sandwich options, there is something healthy for everyone for lunch. I opted for the half grilled Italian sandwich. Husband had the same plus a bowl of chicken noodle soup. They have a nice combo of two of soup, salad, or half sandwich. The toppings for the sandwich were grilled. I was hoping the bun would also be toasted but it was not. Bread was fresh. There were ample toppings. Staff was helpful (liked that they asked if I wanted peppers on my sandwich). You order at the counter then take your number to a table of your choice and they deliver food. The place was clean and open with several tables. Food came quickly. Nice stop.

This is a chain restaurant. The food was good but the service was mediocre. The woman who took our order came across as pretentious and impatient. She definitely had an attitude that was off-putting to me. They have a bunch of vegetarian options, which is great but most of their salads have meat in them. I had the veggie "chicken" cheese steak and it was actually pretty good.

I've been here 3x now and I really like there sandwiches. Plus I love this location: its a clean restaurant, always friendly staff, and I really like the feature of ordering online and driving through the drive thru window (pick up only - no orders) for pick up. Great feature!! All three times my sandwich has been made correctly. And lets talk meat on the sandwich! This aint that crappy sandwich shop called Subway, where you ask yourself, WHERE'S THE MEAT!! Check out my 18" classic Italian sandwich pic. Holy moly there is meat! I didnt order extra meat either. Extra meat would need a larger bun because my sandwich was already over flowing. Side note: Not all Capriottis are created equal because my 1st ever visit was to one next to the University of Reno campus and that sandwich left me thinking nothing special here. I dont need to get a sandwich from Capriottis anymore, but I gave them a 2nd chance here and tried the one on Marion Ave and this place does everything right. So I'm a fan now! And when they say the sandwiches will be ready in 15 min when i order online, they are right! A lot of good things going on at this store. Probably need to give the store manager a pat on the back too!

This is a great spot for tasty sandwiches. The service is quick and friendly and the place was clean and super kid friendly. Would definitely recommend and there's a cute patio to eat outdoors.

    Capstrami (no cheese for me)

The best/worst thing is deciding what to order. The Bobbie is a holiday memory in every bite. The Capistrami the coleslaw is phenomenal and makes the sandwich! I think we've worked our way through the menu and haven't found any we wouldn't order again and again! Well done!

Overpriced for very basic quality sandwiches. Was clean and hardly anyone in there. Service was kind but slow.

Definitely worth the price tag!…read more My friend and I were craving Italian so we decided to give Maribella a try. We noticed it was fine dining and were ready to see if it stood up to its hype. Upon arriving, we were asked if we had a reservation-- we did. The restaurant has an Italian rustic yet modern style to it. We were promptly seated and assigned a friendly server. We had previously already has cocktails, so we were only there for food and that's what we ordered. I ordered the Nero pasta which is a squid ink pasta, drenched in a creamy lemon-garlic sauce, topped with seared scallions and some cherry tomatoes. The whole dish came together and wow, it was delicious. I believe this has been the best pasta dish I've ever had, well worth the $40 price tag on this. I had left overs for the next day and it was still just as good. My friend ordered the risotto de mare, seafood risotto and her dish was also delicious and was absolutely satisfied. We left Maribella satisfied and hoping to come back!

Open table asks what we are celebrating but there was nothing congratulatory or special of our day there from our waitress. One gentleman Graham welcomed us and did give special love, but he was just our greeter. He even came by walking by after our meal and checked in, he was the best! Our waitress was nice but not the most helpful on wine selections. I wish there was a wine sommelier who could have helped me further on decisions, I ended up with a wine I didn't enjoy unfortunately. I have a gluten allergy and I am so pleased by all the great food choices and allergy flag. For Friday at 6, I wanted the lamb risotto but it was sold out, I ended with the seafood risotto. That was very delicious; had one broken scallop, 3 shrimp and a decent amount of mussels. I think they could have added another scallop and shrimp but so be it. I needed some lemon and red pepper flakes to flavor it up but our waitress took FOREVER to even check on our first bites. I was waving at bussers and no one came by, after about 10-15 min my partner stopped her. My partners and mother's food were very delicious and they were happy with their meals! If gluten free, I would have gobbled that up! The food was good for Sioux Falls but not the most outstanding service. That lacked.

Started with a few glasses of wine and a beer, all on point. Then came the food. The mussels were really original. They came in an Italian sausage sauce, thicker than your typical white wine broth, unlike anything I've ever had with mussels before. A little salty, but the mussels themselves were good quality and it came with bread for dipping. For the main, I had the rigatoni with chicken, which had a somewhat similar sauce with great flavors. Both dishes showed some real creativity in the kitchen. But what really sets R Wine Bar & Kitchen apart is the environment. This place has a vibe. I ended up meeting some cool people traveling through from Tennessee and had some of the best conversations I've had at a bar. Really friendly people all around. That kind of atmosphere can't be manufactured. The Verdict: R Wine Bar & Kitchen is the real deal. Great food, great wine, great service from Samantha and Jaxson, and an environment that turns strangers into friends. If you're in Sioux Falls, try it out. Five stars, absolutely worth it.

And honestly, those accidental discoveries sometimes wind up becoming your favorite places. We were absolutely famished that afternoon and wanted something different from our usual stops when we noticed this little pizza place sitting quietly inside a fairly non-descript strip mall. At first glance, you might not expect much. Then you walk inside. The atmosphere immediately drew us in. Warm, casual, inviting, and filled with the kind of local neighborhood energy that makes you feel comfortable almost instantly. It had personality. Not manufactured "corporate chain pretending to be cozy" personality either. Real personality. Thankfully, the food completely lived up to the vibe. We ordered a large specialty pizza loaded with all the trimmings along with a smaller pepperoni pizza because my husband and I have fully embraced the philosophy that ordering "too much pizza" is not actually a real problem. It is simply future happiness. And because we apparently cannot order pizza without wings, we added a small wing order as well. The pizzas were absolutely fantastic. The crust had wonderful texture and flavor, the toppings were generous, the cheese was gloriously hot and melty, and everything arrived piping hot exactly the way pizza should. Even the smaller pepperoni pizza impressed us. Sometimes simple pizzas reveal the quality of a place better than overloaded specialty combinations do, and Tomacelli's absolutely delivered on both. Now the only small critique we had involved the wings. My husband and I personally tend to prefer traditional deep-fried buffalo wings over baked-style wings. That is simply our preference. However, even with that bias, the wings here were still flavorful and enjoyable enough that we really did not mind very much once we started eating them. And honestly, the biggest compliment we can give this place is simple: We kept coming back. Even though we live on the east side of Sioux Falls now, we still happily make the drive across town because local gems like this are worth supporting. More importantly, the consistency has remained excellent every time we have visited. That matters. Any restaurant can accidentally have one great night. The places that keep earning loyalty are the ones that continue getting it right over and over again.
