What is the deal with this place? Thursday I waited approximately 45 mins to be waited on,at the deli. 2 people working, the manager and another person. At least the manager would change her gloves. She also wiped down machine with a single paper towel, but no water. The other girl never wiped down her machine and never changed her gloves despite cutting roast beef and chicken. After 45 minute wait, was thankful for something when manager attended to me. But I was told they had no BH turkey. Previously they had this turkey in refrigerator despite it not being in the front case. I called Bashas who had the turkey and to my pleasant surprise their machines and deli were immaculate! Fast forward to today, Saturday. I went to Frys to order a cake at their bakery. One female staff member told me and another person waiting that they would be right with" us.After standing around waiting for the 2 staff members who were stocking bread and cookies for 5-10 minutes. I let the other woman waiting go first since she was just picking up an order and I would be placing one. I was informed after she got her order that they were not taking orders. I asked until when? And was told she didn't know. I asked the older staff member and was told that not until Monday because 'she's too busy' This used to be a pretty good store other than if you were having things delivered. Now deli is filthy and all the new staff do not know what they are doing so the lines are impossible. And it's more than just a supply problem, the managers in this store(not just the deli) do not know how to order for the volume this market calls for. While I am not a fan of Bashas, at least the one on baseline is clean and you are not going to get sick from their deli! This Frys is just so poorly run!!! Bought some Snake River Farms beef from here to try out. At $24.99 on sale it was a great price. I compared it to the $4.97 stuff that was on sale and it blew it out of the water. Butcher counter staff are always polite. Rest of the store is always clean and well stocked. My kid enjoys the sushi from the sushi counter. Only knock is that the parking lot is a nightmare. read more

I was in frys today with my child, we were strolling around the isles with my child in the called. Then this worker came up to me and my child very aggressively. Yelling at me to take my child out of the cart, in that case my child was forced to walk, after he fell off his bike that same morning. My kid was crying to me the whole rest of the time we were shopping. If only that worker just let my kid stay in the cart. read more

This is my go to Fry's that is down the street from the house. Have yet to have an issue here. They have an excellent meat department that does grilling and has stuff in the frozen section that they cook up from time to time. The Salmon Ravioli is killer, only takes 7-10 minutes on the stovetop for dinner and the flavor is there. Have yet to try some of the other things back there but an easy meal for sure. As Fergie would say, "the ish was bananas" as there was literally none available I had never seen anything like it. It was like a scene straight from The Walking Dead, thought there were things going on I was missing out on. So I talked to one of the guys in the produce section and he apologized and explained it all. Super cool guy that was sincere about there not being bananas, I was just joking with him half heartedly about it. Super friendly and helpful staff here from the people I have encountered. read more

Great store but good grief. The drive thru is the slowest pharmacy on the planet. Speed it up folks.

I have been goi g to this store and pharmacy since they opened. After a visit to the pharmacy a review is needed. I worked with Kim and Kariem the pharmacist. I had an issue with the scripts filled and was questioning thing asking to speak with the pharmacist and she huffed. I proceeded to count my pills and had been shorted on opiates. Kim told me to to hone and "complain to mommy and daddy as you're probably living off there nice benefits". Entirely inaccurate as she was just upset I'm driving a BMW as a 31 year old and have a career. When Kariem came over he was extremely rude and muttered "fuck off" through the window. When I said I'd like to file and official complaint that's I'd need to talk with the store manager which is inaccurate as he said I couldn't do anything at that level but have a phone number to call. This is extremely unprofessional and downright illegal. How often are they skimming off more on others especially elderly?! read more

Had an older women watch me scan items asked me if I payed for one of the items I said yes it was 20 dollars she then stood there and watched me throughout the whole time until I finished and I showed her my receipt I may be young but I make 800 dollars a week and can afford it there's no reason for me to steal or you giving me a dirty look read more

Fry's is 10-15 cents higher on gas, gouging customers. I won't shop at businesses that take advantage of customers for profit.

Truly disappointed in the BAKERY department. We ordered my son a birthday cake at least 3 weeks ahead of time. The person who took our cake order said they would have to order the cake decorations as they didn't have any in the store. Okay 3 weeks no big deal. My husband walks in today 3/23/19 to pick up said cake for our son and it wasn't ready. Just incredible incompetence that I wasn't expecting. I chose Frys to make my life a little easier and cheaper than going to an actual baker, won't make that mistake again. Truly disappointed. Thanks a lot Frys. read more

Dont buy DIP clothing. Bought my daughter 4 dip shirts- 2 shrunk (during prewash in cold water) so much they were unwearable. The sleeves were about 3 inches shorter than before being washed. So you have a 50% chance your clothes will shrink a couple sizes- not good odds. And be sure you wash it right away with the tags on (dumb, i know) but that must be the only way they accrpt clothing returns as they wouldn't take mine back cause 'i had them too long and there were no tags on them" ... I have yet to find a clothing return policy anywhere- not one on receipt nor website...and if they wont take them back, the manufacturer will never be notified of the problem... read more

My favorite Fry's around. They are always so helpful, the store is clean and every time I've come in with my son and can't find a car cart, there is always a gentleman employee that goes and runs out to find one for me without asking or hesitation. They can be a little slow in the meat department and ignore you (one of the taller, brown haired younger guys is always on top of everything, a few of the others act like it's an inconvenience). It's very well laid out and I can always find everything I need. read more

Pharmacy is awful I had my Rx from my surgeon sent there because my insurance isn't accepted at at Walgreens anymore. I have a specialist and a surgeon they know each other and treatment etc. my surgeon sent a Rx over an addition to what I'm already taking duh surgery. The pharmacist said we can't fill it till the 24th. You can pick it up the 23rd if you need it. I go to get it and they put it back and had to re pull it. Told me 20min did my car wash and got coffee. The pharmacist said I tried to call no answer left a voicemail. Well there's no missed call and voicemail. He says I have to call your 2 doctors and your old pharmacy to verify. The last time I checked your and pharmacist. You don't need re validate what was already validated last week and you don't need to call every pharmacy just frys and Walgreens that I've ever used. STAY AWAY unless you want to be profiled as a doctor shopper and junkie. I'm calling to have both my doctors both close friends made aware of the profiling done at Frys and total disregard to the fact I just had surgery and out of my Rx. Thanks Frys I will NEVER use your Pharmacy services especially Signal Butte & Guadalupe ever again. read more

Heard a rumor that the Fry's on Signal Butte may not reopen The Happy Bar. Very disappointing to hear. I drive 15 miles one way to meet friends at this location for drinks and shopping. I must pass at least 20 other shopping options on my way there. Hope this rumor isn't true as I have brought many others to this location and they love it as much as I do. read more

God I love this place! They have unbelievable deals every week, and even get a free item EVERY Friday when using their app. I also love the bar, where I can sample local breweries on tap, and fill growlers for a reasonable price. There are always multiple check out lanes, as well as numerous self-check lanes. I use to be a Safeway only customer, but the one down the road is an absolute joke...never again! The prices here are so good, I sometimes feel like I'm stealing from them. Best store ever! read more

OUTSTANDING!! I have always wanted a Fry's Marketplace to open out by me and this store is top notch! They have a cheese bar, a beer/wine bar and they will even cook your steak for you. Clean and friendly Fry store. Went to Fry's the other day to get some flowers for my mom (Fry's and Kroger always has a great floral selection). Chevi at the counter went above and beyond after I picked out sunflowers and told her I wanted to make a bouquet out of it. She helped me pick out more flowers and some greens to go in a vase. My mother absolutely loved the bouquet. Kudos to Chevi for being great! read more

They wouldn't let me use my WIC information because I didn't have the card in hand. I previously went to a Fry's and they allowed me to use my information without having my card on hand. It's the same thing if you have a debit card and when you swipe it and it doesn't go so they take the card and enter it manually. Never going to this Fry's again!!! The manager was pretty rude about me not having my card with me, so we left empty handed and now we have to go to a different store that accepts WIC and buy my baby her formula. We are currently out and need to get it before her bed time!! read more

I over heard employees in produce saying they refused to wear face mask. Also, in check out, I saw only a few employees wearing face mask to protect us from their possible infections. Many customers wore mask, but most employees at the registers and bagging groceries were NOT showing the customers the consideration of wearing a mask. I have to say I was disappointed. read more

No, People all the Frye's stores are clean and neat. It's the hamburger meats they sell. I have been trying to find the mix and brand that is best. Their own brand is greasy and subpar. The other brands of hamburger...it doesn't cook like meat and falls apart as it cooks. Frye's market shame on you for not looking out for your loyal customers. She had myself and someone in the drive thru waiting for 50 minutes, currently, and still waiting, while she locked herself in the consultation room with no one in there for over 40 minutes. They are always out of stock on things. We have not once in the past year been able to complete our grocery lists which is made up of things they normally do carry. On busy days you are lucky to get a shopping cart as they cart pushers only push 6 carts at a time. We just recently purchased the rib roast special, one of which by day 3 was rotten all the way through and the other that we just purchased today we realized when we got home the package was torn open. We have always been fans of Fry's Market Place, however this store has missed the mark for us. read more

I I went to the gas station at your location tonight 9/12/19 at 915 to get a pack of smokes. I asked it i could use my card and cash and the kid working said sure. He ran my card for 8.45 and i was going to give him the 29 cents. He acted like he didnt know how to do it or what to do and told me my card declined that it has to be ran as credit and it declined. I said it declined and he said yea it declined. When i got home i called my bank and it said that 8.45 was taken out of my account from the gas station at frys. I went back there at 945 and told him that he said my card declined and let him listen to my acct on the recording. He said he refunded me cause my card declined. I ask for the receipt Showing that i was refunded wish i know if its declined you dont do a refund. He said we dont do receipt. He said i must have bought something else for 8.45 cause smokes are 8.74. I said did i have anything in my hand to purchase. He said i dont know but smokes are 8.74. Then he said so what do you want to do i said i want my smokes or i want something showing me that it was put back into my acct. The whole time he had his back to me getting his stuff ready to close up. When he did look at me he was chewing smacking on the gum in his month I ask to speak to the manger and he said he works in the store. I ask for his managers name and he said as he was chewing his gum and acting like a little punk, he never comes out here so i dont know his name. I told him when he is over 8.45 on his credit or debit cards how ever he ran it that he will then know that when someones card declines you dont do a refund. Then he grabs the smokes and says to solve this problem i will just give you the smokes. I dont smoke They were for my husband i could care less about the smokes but the money coming out of my acct and him telling me my card declined cause it has to be ran as credit and then telling me i must have bought something else for 8.45. Making me feel like a liar. After working customer service for 26 years if someone ask if they can use their card and cash you run the card and the rest you pay in cash which would have been 29 cents. You dont tell the customer their card declined and then later tell them you refunded the money. If it declines there is nothing to refund. He just couldnt figure out how much i owed in cash so he just told me it declined because it has to be ran as credit. Even the guy behind me said thats weird. He needs to learn how to respect the customers and stop smacking the gum in his mouth. When asked for the managers name he needs to know that you dont tell the customer he never comes out here so i dont know his name. I have never been so upset begin treated as if i was a liar.
