This is one of our favorite Fry's locations because it literally has everything you need at this one stop shop. So many varieties of drinks, cheese, clothes, random household goods, and it's definitely a fun place to shop. I definitely always leave with more than I came for, but that's the convenience of it all. We love to walk the aisle when we aren't in a rush because they carry so many good things. Also we can find many things on sale such as Owala water bottle which never go on sale at other stores. I've bought Pyrex, Corelle dishes, and so much more here since they always have the best deals. Also be sure to check the far back right of the store for end of season sales/clearance because I always find the best stuff. read more

This morning my wife and I arrived at 745 for a 7am pickup time. The order showed ready to pickup in the app but the very rude woman who spoke to us told me every employee they had called out and we could come back in several hours(when I asked for a time, she asked me how she was supposed to know) or cancel. I told her I work and can't come back and she shrugged. I canceled my order and will never be back. We already did an Instacart for Safeway and I'll guarantee no issues. This is the worst frys I've ever shipped at for customer service. On top of this their pharmacy drivethru is always closed during open hours because of staffing issues. For a marketplace they seem to not have things other market places have. So this store cost me more time out of my day to go to another store for literally only find out the prices were different from what I paid here as compared to the other store. Something I learned today by visiting this specific phrase that I've never seen at the others but now I'll be on the lookout for it. I thought it was wonderful that they had this thing program/whatever that when fruit are getting close to going bad they will highly discount them please to say I bought three apples for my dog, very minimally dented or aged and it was a whole price of only $.99 and I bought 3 pounds of bananas for like $1.10 because they were getting brown and some soft spots all for my dog he doesn't care if they're soft or hard I put the banana bananas in the freezer so they don't keep aging apples. He'll devour over the next two days. Not to mention the service was great because we needed an actual checker for someone who needs ADA accessibility and I asked once and the three people stop talking and quickly helped us over to Elaine because it was after like 6 o'clock so it was self check out only we hate that Then the ambience was great because it was around 6 to 7 PM maybe seven I'm not for sure but anyway, anyways I'm ambience was great because it was not busy. This use to be a good store to shop. Now you can't get anyone in order pick up to answer the phone. After endless ringing I called back to speak with a manager. She just sent me back into the loop again. I had a pick up order. I wanted to make sure their pickers recognized my buy 2 get 2 selections because always forget to get the other two items. It's so annoying. Not only this, but you can't check in on your phone because the website is always down. You call the check in number and it doesn't recognize your number so you can't tell which stall you'll be waiting in. I'm doing my online shopping at Walmart from now on. read more

i love this fry's! have never had an issue. everyone is so nice and helpful! however, i bought a street corn dip and it turned out to be moldy and i opened it the day i purchased it. i went back to grab a new one, opened my new one once i was in the car just to be sure, and the new one was moldy too. the food must've not been stored properly or something. just something to look out for! read more

Only had one donut here, but it was one of the better ones in awhile. This was a cheesecake donut, a square version of the donut with some Graham cracker crumbs on top. Very soft, fresh and moist,but not available at every store. read more

First off I should update my review of grammar errors alone ha ha sorry about that. Since my last review I've came quite a few times. They've made some pretty good improvements since then; like moving the Starbucks inside to a better location in the store and adding the sushi station. My past experiences would say heck no to store sushi, but the ladies here are great and the Arizona Roll is yummy here. Prices throughout the store can be fair if you catch the right sale, store is pretty clean, but service is pretty meh. Once in a while you'll get a great cashier, but not typical. Parking lot totally sucks and is a freaking nightmare to get in or out without nearly getting hit. They do offer store pick up if you order online app. Sometimes it's best to do that instead of searching for a parking space or trying to navigate through. read more

There hasn't been a time I haven't enjoyed visiting this location. Everyone is so friendly and helpful here. They had beautiful flowers and deserts for Valentine's Day! Such a variety of items. One thing I always look for in a grocery store is this it clean? the store was very clean. The other thing is the staff, the staff were very friendly and helpful and they were all wearing masks. I would recommend getting the VIP card that gives you a discount when you scan some of your items. They were working on making sure everything looked well stocked and orderly. The vegetables seem to be plentiful and for a typical family grocery store that seemed like they had a fair selection of organic items. They also had grass-fed beef and bacon that was uncured. They also have some individually prepped items which are good for a senior that may want to not have to prepare everything. They even have some Frozen organic items which were particularly of interest to me. They had the typical selection of soda pop but with the added twist of having individual sodas available that were made with cane sugar that I enjoy. I've been when it's been crowded and not crowded and the line through the checkout area has always been fast. It's a complete grocery store with about everything that you could want. read more

There's a guy telling me to get out of the self check out because I have a shirt with a tag I say OK I understand I go get checked out by a person and on my way out. The guy starts to say yay with sarcasm laughing and making beeping noises as I'm exiting the building because he's supposedly pretending that I'm stealing not gonna say it's because I'm Mexican but I really think it's because I was Mexican. I went to this Frys for two things - Dry ice and a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato, and left with neither. I went to where they keep the dry ice and stood there for about 7 minutes, 5 employees walked by me, without offering to help. Two different employees were chit chatting about 50 feet away from me and couldn't be bothered. I went to the register and informed the guy that I needed dry ice. A few minutes later, someone came and told me that they were out of dry ice. I then walked over to the Starbucks and ordered a Caramel Macchiato, but was told that they couldn't make it because they ran out of caramel and there was none in the entire Frys store. Happy to see the new carts, previous ones were in pretty bad condition. Now, if they would repair the parking lot that would be great. It's crumbling and full of pot holes. Additionally, they tend to put too much product in the isles often times making it difficult to maneuver your cart. I have been using Fry's online ordering and pick up which worked out fine. However, there was an item today that was available in the store but not through online ordering. I thought it would be easy to swoop in and out for one item wearing my mask and being safe. But no, after counting at least 5 male shoppers not wearing any kind of mask and an employee talking to customers with her mask well below her nose, I decided it was too DANGEROUS to remain. This store is frequented by the elderly and disabled. Please empower your employees to check for mask-wearing as people enter the store and to ask that those in the store who choose not to wear them either leave or put one on. I won't go inside until I hear that Fry's has a much more strict policy. read more

I have been really pleased with the cleanliness of this store every time I've visited. There is one Cashier, Carren, who was so polite, and professional, and was helpful in reminding me to use my Fry's reward card as well as giving me a senior discount on 99% of my groceries. She treated me like family. You really don't get that kind of service every day, especially from those who only wish to earn a check. Had a very bad experience at this Frys yesterday. I inquired about a party sub and the deli clerk Michelle was very rude. She yelled at me that it was superbowl weekend and it takes 24 hours to order ahead a party sub. I apologized for the misthapp...Im going through medical treatment for some serious health issues going on, and I forgot it was superbowl. She again yelled at me told me to take a number because there were 3 people ahead of me. Fine I took a number. When my turn came up deli lady ignores me to help someone else who just walked up. Insaid excuse me ma'am my number is next. She ignores me and goes back to helping someone else. I was so mad! All I wanted was for someone to help me. Fry's is super solid! This location is like a mile from my house..maybe less? I could definitely walk there if need be. I love this store! They have everything you could imagine. Bag of chips? Yup. Batteries? Yup. New kitchen table? Yup. Pots and Pans? Yup. New bath towels? Yup. Chase bank inside the store? Yup. Drive thru pharmacy? Yup. Great ice cream selection (Blue Bell, Blue Bunny, Turkey Hill, Ben and Jerry's etc)? Yup. Fantastic chicken tenders from the deli counter? Yup. Gas Station out front which currently has unleaded for $1.99 a gallon? Yup! This place has EVERYTHING! I can't think of a bad thing to say about Fry's. I am glad it is close by and I much prefer this store over Albertsons and Safeway! Even if I lived far away, I would still drive here to this Fry's. I like it the best out of all other Phoenix Fry's that I have been to. read more

In the past few months this store has gone straight to the bottom on quality of help, products in stock, cleanliness and the most disappointing of all management and excuses. We have been shopping here for years and always enjoyed the people and the quality of products. There have been occasional glitches in the store but all in all quite acceptable. Starting after the first of the year thing went to "Hell in a handbag". No help to be found in most departments, long check out lines, I have personally brought the fact that the odd numbered lanes are wider for easier access and if you are only going to open 1 or 2 make them the easy access lanes. That was months ago and still no one pays attention. Yea I have contacted corporate and they do answer and some minor correction happen for a few visits then it's right back where it was. The excuse that keeps coming up about the lack of help is that and I quote "The snowbirds are gone". Well what about your year round customer base? Captive audience? I think not the last letter to corporate was a dear john good bye, so long farewell. looks like I'll just drive a little farther. read more

Although the online app is very frustrating to use, the ease of a pickup order has been a game changer for me. Order is always ready during pick up time and all staff members in this department are friendly, competent and helpful. It's unfortunate that they don't deliver to my zip code. I'm 8 miles from the store but zip code covers Buckeye proper also. My only complaint is that on average they are always out of 3-8 items listed in their add. When I'll accept a substitute it is always the Kroger brand. Roasted chickens packed sideways in the bag and it's a greasy mess. read more

I love this Fry's Marketplace! Have not been disappointed at all in my experience here. Have been shopping there for almost a year now. It is conveniently located in Surprise with plenty of parking. There is a Starbucks counter inside and you can get a special-order sub at the deli. We lived in Okinawa for awhile and had been missing California rolls and Spicy rolls. They make them fresh there near the cheese section. They often have samples available, and it always good. Produce has had decent selection (not the best, but pretty good). There is an ATM and small satellite bank and pharmacy inside as well. It is a great one-stop shop for us. If lines start to get a bit long, they've opened more registers making wait time minimal. They also have several self-checkouts near the customer service counter. Have always found employees to be friendly, polite and helpful. There are (2) Redbox kiosks in front, a water machine (25 cents a gallon). As a VIP customer I save ALOT on our groceries. For a family of 6 this is a huge bonus. We also get discounted gas that is tied in to how much we buy (just saved 40 cents a gallon to gas up our SUV....it came out to $3.23 a gallon!...every penny counts!) I recently got a mailing with about $30 in coupons, including free case of water, free bottle of salad dressing, free dozen eggs, etc) Saved me even more. We love this Fry's.......! Rude and obnoxious deli attendant. Older Hispanic lady, black hair with streaks of gray...treats customers like shit. Yells out your number than backtracks to earlier numbers, and laughs at you because she can make you wait longer. I know this sounds harsh, but she was the rudest employee I've ever encountered at any Fry's. I will be avoiding this location for all future purchases. She has severely soured your store's reputation. Thankfully, there are three additional stores within the same driving distance.
