Bashas bakery employee today lost my business as well as the seniors I shop for. Stood in line awaiting my turn. I was next in line. There was several employees behind the counter. Only one helping customers. All the sudden one of the employees ran out grabbed a lady behind me a loaf of bread. Then sliced and bagged it. Next gave her pastries from case. I spoke up up and questioned don't you serve people from the front of the line ? Her EXCUSE was " oh I am leaving so I just grabbed her ! Was Zi invisible ? Yes. I walked away. I will never return to this poor customer service again. read more

What a great experience working with Michelle in the deli area as I prepared for a party of 50 people and had no idea what to order. She was professional, knowledgeable, and patient as I had many question. All trays of food were tasty and beautiful in presentation. Several guests complimented me on the selection of foods.....all Michelle's recommendations. Michelle, along with Lavinia and Angelica, we're helpful and helped me plan a great birthday party. read more

rating this 5 because every time I come here, it gives me happy vibes especially when I go to the bakery section! My visit would not be complete without my sweet treats! LOL I love how neat and organized this store is. And one that I like the most is the friendliness of their staffs. And one more thing that I greatly appreciate is, they have cashiers in all of their check out counters!! that's the very thing they have most of the grocery stores here DOES NOT! Oh my beauty! that's always my complain every time we come to Walmart to shop,I mean what's the point of having all of those check out counters, when there are no cashiers to accommodate customers?? hello! I mean, remove those and just put 3 lanes. get real! While you are making billions of money, you create more wrinkles in your customers face by making our check out experience not very happy.!common! LOL Anyways, good job Bashas! You are peculiar! and thanks for always making your customers HAPPY! Usually stop for coffee and doughnut Tuesday and Thursday after tennis. Last two weeks no one seems to be responsible for removing waste from receptacles in the eating areas with tables and chairs. Waist is falling out onto the floor. read more

I gave it a 3 star because I am newly living in sun city west, I am an african american lady and I went to this store on 4-2-2021 there was 2 cashiers a young man and a older white lady, I have to ride in a electric cart for my shopping, and as I was shopping the cart was going low battery, so I went to exchange it for another one. And as I was going past checkout the older white lady said to me did you pay for those items I said not yet why? I am going to get another electric cart? I felt discrimination I was embarrass and humiliated for that question I wondered if she would have asked me that if I were white. will never shop there again 1st impressions are lasting. read more

I just left your store and found it to be extremely unfriendly!! This is the store in Sun City West Az. The Clerk did not acknowledge me at all! Not Thank you or anything!! There are many choices of stores for shopping so I will not be going there again and I feel certain that she doesn`t care!! This was at 459pm #128 cashier 0136. I hope someone cares. This Bashes has extremely friendly people working there. We frequent their deli department and prepared food area often - great dinner prices and it always tastes very good. They are happy to assist in anyway. Would recommend this to all. read more

I almost always find spoiled/badly bruised/moldy produce. Keep your receipts! I don't may even buy milk there anymore. It consistently goes bad long before sell by date. Try to return it and catch crap from customer service. I have found a lot of compromised packaging after getting home. Cracked yoplait in eight packs where it isnt seen, lots of sliced bags: candy, English muffins... Check items carefully and SAVE receipts!!! Lots of floor spills... about a third of the time I go, there is a significant spill. (Blue gel squiggle all the way down the shampoo aisle), etc. They aren't walking the aisles for floor checks. I actually went down hard with a slip on a dropped and splattered butter spread container. Between cameras, but nobody came. Watch out in frozen food aisles for uncovered drain holes

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I will never use the pickup…read moreorder service again. I placed a grocery pickup order and had my husband pick it up. When the employee brought the groceries out, they did not review the total or the receipt with him. When he got home and I began unpacking, I noticed our total was $237.50 more than it should have been. (23.99) After reviewing the receipt, I immediately saw the mistake. Instead of scanning a 12-pack of protein shakes priced at $23.99, the employee manually entered it as 9.9 pounds at $23.99 per pound, resulting in a massive overcharge. I contacted the store right away and was told there was "nothing they could do" and that I needed to contact corporate. Corporate then told me it would take 3-5 business days to process and that I would receive an email confirmation. This error happened on Sunday, January 11, 2026, and I have yet to receive that email. On Monday, January 12, Angela Lopez from the store reached out, apologized, and asked me to email the details so they could fix the issue. She also mentioned a gift card for the inconvenience. While I appreciate the apology, $237.50 is not a small inconvenience. I live paycheck to paycheck, and that amount of money makes a huge difference for my family. I tried calling this Fry's location to speak directly with Angela and was placed on hold for almost 30 minutes, only for no one to ever come to the phone. At this point, I don't know what else to do. I am extremely disappointed by how little concern has been shown over a very clear employee error and how difficult it has been to resolve something that should have been fixed immediately. As a young mom with a teenage son living paycheck to paycheck, this experience has been incredibly stressful. I cannot believe how little this store seems to care about its customers.

I can usually save about 1/3 off my groceries in comparison to the other places I shop. Of course, they don't have too many brand name things, so you have to decide judiciously to try the food. I love the chocolates here and in December, they have chocolate Advent calendars!!!

This review is not for the store as a whole but one specific employee I keep getting at checkout…read more She always tells me to swipe or insert my card BEFORE she rings up my items. This does not work for me as I budget my money closely and I transfer the exact amount when I'm told the total. Every time I explain that to her she gets a weird rushing attitude huffing and puffing. She also throws my items in the cart harder than I believe is necessary. When I get checked out by the other 3 ladies usually on the register, there are always pleasant and quick but never rushing me. So I do like this store however I do get nervous when I see this specific employee working. I didn't see a name tag but she was on register 6 and wears a glove on her right hand that had something written on it. I hope management can look into this and possibly speak to employees about rushing customers. Thank you!
