We logged in to the Sherwin Williams website. They had a ton of colors. I love that they really test their paint. They sold me long before I clicked over, looked at the color or even stepped food in the store. They invest in making sure the color will hold up. That the paint will last. That's what I want and need. Any way. We looked on line. I did the preliminary elimination of colors. One thing I loved is they had "wellness" colors. Colors that promote strong mental well-being, yes I need that. Heck don't we all. And for a $100.00 or so. I will invest that into me and my home. I asked for some color chips to be mailed. I also wrote down the color numbers. Since we were soooo inspired, we couldn't wait for the paint chips. We just drove the whole three miles to the nearest store. Looked at the colors in person. That's when we met Clarissa. Holy moly! This girl rocks! She got our sample colors mixed for us. And with out skipping a beat or customer service she helped two co-workers, a guy on hold and reminded someone else of something. She was so fantastic TallGirl tried to recruit her to her company. But she said she loves where she works a and they give them great training. We looked at them in all the lights. The next day we had a decision. I called Clarissa. She remembered us :) Told her what we needed, I paid for it and sent "The Dads" to get it. She asked that I bring the can in and they will determine if it can be done. I walked in handed her my can she took a look and the dried paint on the lid was enough for a good scan! She was very knowledgeable without even looking at the label she could already tell what finish it was and type. She did warn me it was 10 year old paint and they could get it as close to the color as possible. I knew it would be far fetched to match exact but I will eventually will repaint the entire kitchen later on. I just needed enough to cover up wall patches. I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes! Whenever I go I have a great experience. call ahead of time to make sure they have space to take your paint. Go inside and tell them you'd like to recycle your paint. They had you a cart. We called and made Appointment with the color advisor at the Miramar store, but they welcome walk-in as well. Our color advisor, Javanah, was very friendly and had the patience of a saint. We explained our objective and she took the time to look at pictures of our house as well as offering color options. She understood our goal well enough to explain why one color option would work better over another. Her suggestions where right on, and we are really happy with the way she helped us.

I even said, "This doesn't look big enough," but he assured me it was the correct one. I took it home and unfortunately it wasn't the right size, so I had to run back to the store. The woman who greeted me the first time was incredibly kind and helpful -- she had even helped me load bags of soil into my car earlier. She handled the return for me with no problem at all. Then I went back upstairs where the actual plumbing specialist helped me pick out the correct part. The customer service here is excellent. It's so close to my house that I prefer going there instead of a big store like Home Depot. I may pay a little more sometimes, but the convenience, helpful staff, and friendly service make it worth it. Usually, they're right and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this store for both customer service and convenience.
