The "Manager Rob" I spoke with was very defensive and insisted that the color was correct, but the interaction felt rushed and dismissive. While I understand that misunderstandings can happen, I was disappointed by the lack of patience and willingness to address my concerns. I believe that a more considerate and understanding approach could have helped resolve the issue more effectively. These Custom aerosol spray cans are NOT inexpensive. Maybe "Rob the Manager " could learn to handle customer service with more professionalism and courtesy.

I went into this location to get some paint that would match a stain I previously used (different brand). Matching wood stain to a paint I realized is harder than I thought. A BIG shout out to Daniel who spent the time to find the exact match. He enthusiastic took on the challenge and after some trial and error he created the perfect paint color to match the wood stain I brought in. I also overheard the manager on the phone with a customer and she was very professional and on top of her game helping the person on the other end of the phone. Overall, a great experience and would certainly go back for my painting needs.

I walked in and Shannon greeted me with a giant smile and an eager attitude. Take note other retailers... These things are important! I gave her a sample of the metal I'm in need of matching and she tells me that it should be no problem. She also asked what finish I would like... Ummm, I don't know I tell her "You're the professional". I told her the first attempt was Semi-gloss and that was WRONG!!! So she made an executive decision and scanned my color. She worked her magic and upon testing the mix decided she didn't like it..... Something about reds and greens being wrong... Looked brown to me.. She added this and mixed it and still didn't like it. Still brown to me.... Added something else and tested it again.. Closer I guess but she still didn't like it... so back to more of something to the mix.. Meanwhile engaging in friendly conversation.. no frustration just smiles. The next attempt yielded shat she seemed to like and I couldn't even tell where the test spot was. If I can't see it then it must match, right? A job well done by an outstanding company representative!! Sherwin and Shannon... I'll be back! I agreed to pay the hundred dollar deposit and then the additional fees for repair Josh wanted to charge me an additional $300 simply to store my pump in their shop. With the cost of living already being so expensive in San Diego it seems places like this are insensitive to the fact. We logged in to the Sherwin Williams website. They had a ton of colors. I love that they really test their paint. They sold me long before I clicked over, looked at the color or even stepped food in the store. They invest in making sure the color will hold up. That the paint will last. That's what I want and need. Any way. We looked on line. I did the preliminary elimination of colors. One thing I loved is they had "wellness" colors. Colors that promote strong mental well-being, yes I need that. Heck don't we all. And for a $100.00 or so. I will invest that into me and my home. I asked for some color chips to be mailed. I also wrote down the color numbers. Since we were soooo inspired, we couldn't wait for the paint chips. We just drove the whole three miles to the nearest store. Looked at the colors in person. That's when we met Clarissa. Holy moly! This girl rocks! She got our sample colors mixed for us. And with out skipping a beat or customer service she helped two co-workers, a guy on hold and reminded someone else of something. She was so fantastic TallGirl tried to recruit her to her company. But she said she loves where she works a and they give them great training. We did learn that if you know exactly what you want, say you're a contractor or it's a repeat order you can email them: Email SW1513@sherwinwilliams.com We went home, we painted all the colors. We looked at them in all the lights. The next day we had a decision. I called Clarissa. She remembered us :) Told her what we needed, I paid for it and sent "The Dads" to get it. Lori Murphy manager at the DE Poway store is very knowledgeable friendly polite and always has the can do attitude to assist you with her expertise in the painting industry along with her assistant Matt. You know you can receive help from her at 6am and even if you are running late and call at 4:45pm Lori is ready to help out with her usual positive attitude. I highly recommend Lori and her staff.
