BMW Motorcycles of Fort Worth (they were roughly across 820 from here) closed up a while back. I was just winging it for a while, doing all my own work. Who needs a shop? A short time ago, while searching for something on Google Maps, I see BMW Motorcycles. Note to self, I need to check this place out someday. Well that day was last week. At first the BMWs were not jumping out at me. There are a lot of other brands here, and PWCs (Personal Water Crafts). Even those funky low to the ground three-wheeled "motorcycles", pretty sweet! Much more gear and apparel too. Service is toward the back. I was hoping I might recognize someone, but I didn't. I enjoyed looking around, but it's not the same feel as the Motorrad shop. Sigh. The key to an ATV was missing and weeks later I still haven't received it, even though they said they sent it. They didn't want to provide me with the FEIN Number so I could pay the Massachusetts taxes and register the ATV, it was just a lot of pressure. Chaotic customer service, no one knows absolutely anything and no one solves anything. I waited for the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) for several weeks, even though they knew I needed it in order to finance the ATV I mentioned on the day of purchase, they sent it by plain mail, without a tracking number, it took weeks, a real catastrophe. If you have any sense and value serious advice, never, ever buy anything from this store, I sincerely hope I don't have any major problems, because they constantly change the information and procedures to charge more.

After over 2 months of waiting i call in again only to be given another 2 wk delay. i then asked for a refund for the backordered items. Ordered the same parts from Dennis kirk a week prior to calling CS and got my items in 3 days while still waiting on same exact parts from direct cycles. What a joke. Since I received some of my order i'll give direct cycles 2 stars. Noone has time to be waiting months for parts while being lied to about when their items will ship. Dont be fooled by their competitive pricing. Its not worth the hassle or down time.

Even better, Kenny is a huge supporter of small business and often features local artists, craft jewelers, and so on. The shop will occasionally host gatherings in the back or organize events that bring the community together and it's their everyone-is-welcome attitude that makes them so cool. Breanna is usually at the store and it's inspiring to hear her talk about the rides she's taken and her love for motorcycles in general. Even a non-biker like myself has never felt out of place and I've had plenty of great times just hanging out with them. If you're ever in the stockyards drop in --they have a ton of cool stuff to check out and constantly get more. If nothing else, they're just great people to meet.
