We came to this dealer to purchase an X3. At 2:49 I received a message from the salesperson the unit was available. My family and I were in the showroom working the deal and filling out a credit application when we were told that the unit had a deposit placed on it while we were in the showroom and had already agreed to the deal. My family and I wasted three hours of our time driving to/from the dealership including the hour we were waiting for a single salesman to assist us purchasing that unit. I was looking into purchasing a Polaris ATV I saw online. Completed my application and they were very responsive through text and even made a call. When they advised they needed two forms of ID I decided to make the drive from Plano to Arlington to have a look at their ATVs and also provide them with my documents. Bought my TTR 230 in this dealership brand new January 2022. Been using the dirt bike lightly during camping . Suddenly my bike won't fire up so I did my research and usually Yamaha ttr always have battery problem. I told myself I'll just drop my bike since I have the YES Yamaha warranty coverage until 2024. Here is the catch when I arrive at the service department. Mechanic help me and ask me to sign a document that shows $700. I ask him. Why am I paying this much when I still have warranty and you didn't even look at my bike/motorcycle. He said don't worry "We will take care of you". The normal line that every dealership will tell you. Anyways I signed it since I need to go to work and I already towed my bike there. Today I just got my bike back. I GOT CHARGED OF A SERVICE THAT I DID NOT ASK!!!!! I WAS CHARGED OFF "FIRST SERVICE". WHAT THE FUCK. I DIDN'T REQUEST FOR THIS SERVICE!!! THIS IS A SCAM! I was so pissed off. I ask the manager if I could return my bike because I don't want to do business with this scammers!!!! This is a REAL REVIEW! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! This is a comparison of my experience with Harley Davidson in Bedford. My Iron 883 won't start. Harley towed my motorcycle didn't charge me. They replaced the battery and ONLY CHARGED ME $150. Bought a brand new 2021 250 dirt bike in December of 21 for $11k. My son rode it for a month then it became increasingly hard to shift into third with less than 30 total hours. We took it back in so they could fix it with the warranty. They took the bike in for service and then their tech quit. It took them a month to find out that the warranty wouldn't cover it, because they blamed it on rider inexperience, and the manager (Robert) was absolutely no help. We put them on hold and eventually were advised by others to go ahead and have them perform the service so we could pick up the bike. After 3 weeks they had us come pick up the bike and the bill was $700 higher than the quote they provided. During the test run before I accepted it the cam shaft nut came off in the stater case and destroyed that case and gave the crank case a big dent right where the stater case would mount. (See pics) One of their guys suggested that they would just hammer the dent out. Omg. Went to speak to Robert "GM" about this issue and to see if we could come to a fair arrangement to fix this situation. He literally made me wait for 35 minutes while he chatted up 2 customers and even had a leisurely 5 minute conversation with one of their own employees about stuff completely unrelated to work. Robert is the GM with about as much business sense as a rock. When he finally got done and had no other choice but to deal with us, I told him the situation, which he immediately started rattling off total hairbrained bs about how this possibly isn't their fault. (All recorded on my phone btw) I told him that I just want to trade it in which he replied he was only going to give me $6k trade in and I would have to pay them $4500 to complete the trade for a new identical unit they had in stock. We went back and forth on that a bit then he showed me a used 2021 250 with more hours than our trade and immediately said "I paid $7500 in trade in for this bike" and when I asked what the difference was between my bikes value and that one, (and I have recorded proof of this craziness) he said "I thought that bike was a 450 when we put the trade in value on it". Lmao! Ok Robert. I don't think I've ever rolled my eyes harder. So here's the gist of the quality of business you should expect from these folks. They're busy right now so they literally don't give one flying f about repeat customers. Don't expect them to last much longer than this crazy inflated market will cuz they won't. The true grit of a business should be gauged by how they handle a shortcoming on their end and trust me they fall flat on their face with lies and ignorance. Their "GM" Robert either has absolutely no pull in there and answers to a hard nose profit monger or thinks that no matter what, nothing is their fault and they should never have to trade profit for customer satisfaction. Tony wasted two days running a credit application on me for a BIKE THAT HE HAD ALREADY SOLD !!! He knew full well that the bike I asked about had been sold, but he kept me waiting anyway and then when he eventually told me it had been sold, he tried the old bail and switch up-sell to get me to buy a more expensive bike. Bottom line is that I was lied to and wasted two full days when I could have been buying a bike from a serious dealership. I am a serious buyer and was ready and willing to put down 70% of the purchase price in cash. I am the kind of buyer that MOST dealerships would have jumped through some hoops and gone to a bit or extra effort go satisfy, but not Arlington Motorsports. Amateurs is the word that comes to mind regarding them. Why is it that I can get a credit approval online mere minutes - if not seconds - after I hit the submit button but these guys can't manage to get one in two full days. My guess is because they already knew the bike I wanted was sold but they wanted to drag it out and go for the up-sell. I do NOT trust these guys. I am seriously concerned about what they might do with the personal information I gave them. My recommendation to you is to go someplace else. Don't trust these guys. I read over some of the reviews before me and, unfortunately, I did not have such a good experience. Firstly, I was there for accessories and did not have contact with the bike sales staff. I had recently purchased a new motorcycle and needed to get a helmet and some accessories that matched the bike a little better than what I have, already. I began looking at helmets and was immediately greeted by a young woman interested in 'helping'. Under different circumstances, I would have been delighted as customer service is a priority for me. This was, however, a bizarre, irritating version of customer service as she began interjecting what she believed I was needing and wanted in a helmet. I understand that her primary responsibility in selling helmets is and should be the safety of the rider. BUT... I have been riding motorcycles on the road, wearing helmets and having my own opinions and needs for 33 years. This was too far. Whether she was trying to help 'too much' or wanted to show off her expertise, it stopped passing for customer service when she was having me shake my head around and sticking her hands, unwanted, into the mix (my face). I can almost guarantee that I was at least well into my Army career by the time she was born. All of this with the most uninterested, dead-pan expression on her face. The selection was quite impressive and, had I another sales member, it might have been a different experience. Does this mean that Arlington Motorsports is a 'two-star' business? Well, I hold that a poor experience with customer service can make impact the entire business perspective. read more

Let me start by saying that I have never had a bad experience here. The first time I went in was because my bike wouldn't start. When I drove the truck around back to the service department, about three or four guys walked out to see what my issue was. One guy got on back of the truck and unloaded it for me. I'm sure it was easy for him, as I have a GSX-R600. They only had my bike overnight for that issue. They also called to inform me that there was a recall on my bike, so I let them keep it until the part came in, which wasn't long at all. True riders can always appreciate a quick turn on their bike. Today I went in for a state inspection. I wasn't sure if I needed to drive around back, so I just parked up front and walked in. When I got in I was immediately greeted by someone who worked in the service department who asked what I needed. I was informed to go around back. After I parked and walked in the service department door, I was greeted by Paul who is always nice. While he was starting my paperwork, we were chatting the entire time. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. When I went back to the main area to checkout, the cashier was friendly and he also remembered I had called earlier to ask a question. I think he may have been the same person that helped me previously when I came in right at closing needing a shirt, but he still took the time to show me items on the shelf. I go here because 1. It's close to home, 2. There is always a quick turnaround and 3. The staff has always been friendly. Customer service FTW! The showroom is not overly big, but it's spacious. Not a lot to choose from as far as clothing items go, but I'm sure things could easily be ordered. There is also one central location to pay and that's the cashier in the main area. The service department only does service tickets. This will be my location for all of my service needs. read more

AVOID THIS SHOP: Wayne (manager of the mechanics) and Robert (store manager )where in a word unprofessional. I took my dirt bike in for a standard top end rebuild. I told them exactly what was wrong with the bike and what I needed done. (no diagnostic needed) They quoted me 1200 for the job saying that is normal. Called two other shops, SMS Racing and Cycle Center of denton, and both significantly less that this rip off. One said $800 total (parts and labor) the other said $850. I told them they were price gouging and I will be taking my business else where. They proceeded to charge me $120 for the "diagnostic". I told them specifically what it would need before they touched it. Refusing to let me take my bike without paying the fee. This place is a rip off. The mechanic had no idea what he was doing. The last time he had worked on a top end was "two years ago on a yz 450". This was confirmed in their system. Save your self the pain and money and take it to a different shop. It's bad enough to get ripped off, but the incompetence of the mechanic (Wayne) could lead to deadly injury. The other two store listed above are much more knowledgeable, and have significantly better customer service. read more

I wanted a Kawasaki KLR 650. I looked on line and there is a used one at Arlington Motorsports. I drove over to have a look at it. Lower miles but high on price so I figured it would be nice. I saw it sitting outside. I walked by it and walked all the way to the back of the shop to see what Yamaha had to offer. No one ever spoke to me. I didn't see anything I liked so I walked back outside to look at the KLR 650. I wanted one so I looked it over close. First I noticed the chain was very loose like danger of throwing it off. Then I noticed the wheel pushed all the way back. No adjustment left. Then I saw the sprockets wore out. Then the brake pads was thin. Pulled the oil stick and it looked dirty. I left to look at other bikes, still no salesman. I looked at other bikes. I thought that bike would do if they would come off the high price to pay for the maintenance work or fix it. The next day I called and waited for a salesman. The salesman told me that all bikes are sent through their service department and priced as they should be. He said there is nothing wrong with the bike. I don't think I would buy a bike here. Let the buyer beware. read more

I got my son a 2007 yamaha vstar 1300 for his birthday at a local auction it turned out to be a nightmare the bike used to belong to ATI a school to teach people how to work on motorcycles that bike ran like Shit I took it over to Ailington motors ports in Aringtion Texas just to find out that the Service there is out of this would Paul and his people are GREAT.. $1258 in repairs they had to pull the motor out to fix what was wrong they found more then I ever seen and fit it with it was time to pick up the bike the throttle cable broke Paul and the owner went out of the way to get me a cable replace it super fast.. We hav 3 bikes next time I need work I'll be going to the, again..oh yes my sons vstar runs like a brand new bike now.. Great Team work at this shop..Thank God I found a great shop... read more

The bad reviews almost scared me off. Don't let them! I visited twice and had phenomenal experiences both times. The first time I talked to two guys about helmets. I wish I had their names because they were very helpful and patient with me. I know nothing about motorcycles. They were very informative, and I never felt like they were talking down to me or as if they didn't have time for my laundry list of questions. The supervisor took my information and actually called his vendors to try and get my specific questions answered. I went in a few days later and talked to the sales guy Rob. He was just as friendly and helpful. Even though he knew right off the bat the one I wanted was gone, he answered a bunch of questions and gave some great advice. Unfortunately they already sold the one I wanted, but I will definitely be back for ALL my needs once I find the perfect machine. Don't listen to the bad reviews. I've been doing business with AMS for around 13 years now. There's only 1 reason why you would do business that long with 1 company, they're great! I bought a cycle at D&S (before i knew any better) but have always had service done and bought all my parts at AMS. I finally broke down and bought a Harley. Did i go to a Harley dealer? Hell no! I went to AMS. I made me a great deal on a used HD. They worked really hard to find me a great low interest loan (5% on a 14 year old bike is not easy). They also are under writers for insurance so i didn't have to go anywhere else or make any extra calls to be able to drive off with the bike. One stop shopping!
