I have been wanting to try FTH Pizza for a couple of years. After enjoying it today, I wish had stopped by earlier. It was very good--maybe the best pizza I've tried in Williamsburg. Using a wood fire oven, FTH Pizza's pies convey that fired taste. I purchased the Margarita Pizza, and I really enjoyed the sauce. It contains the right amount of sweetness. This pizza also was not very cheesy, which is perfect for me! One of my favorite parts of a pizza is the air bubbles. It's crazy. I can't get enough of them! While my pizza had sufficient bubbles to delight, a couple were burnt from the fire. If you like bubbles like I do, ask for them to watch heat on the bubbles. For $12, I received a delicious pizza that added sunshine to a cloudy day! I have heard that they may sell out of their pizza dough before their posted closing hours, so I recommend going early.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Williamsburg. We ventured here looking for a good oven fire pizza and the chef/owner was the only one there. He took our order and cooked the pizza for us. The pizza was delicious! Although it's hard to go wrong with an oven fire pizza. Definitely recommend!

Great wood fired pizza. My go to place for Neapolitan pizza. I am sad to admit I can eat a whole pizza by myself. It is that good.

First them meal: Outstanding. The wifey and I both ordered small pizzas. Mine was the All Meat and the wifey ordered the Arugula and Prosciutto. Let me say again both were outstanding and tasted amazing. When talking about my old meat pizza out of the four or five meats on mine with standard it out above the others was the sausage. Had an absolutely wonderful flavor. But surprisingly it didn't overpower when it was combined with the other meats. As for the wife, this is the second time she's had this combination type Pizza. The first time was in an authentic Italian restaurant, but was in Mexico. Yeah, that's kind of crazy pizza in Mexico but at that location down there it was incredible enough to make my wife want it again and this is the first time we have found a location that served a similar pizza. The arugula was fresh, not welted and really popped with flavor. Now both the wife and I had to really agree that the crust for both pizzas was not that heavy dough type. It had a little fluff to it, making it not weighing in your belly after you eat it. Staff: our server was outstanding as well. Very intentive checked on us several times and we even had some conversation back-and-forth. I believe we may have talked also to the owner who was sitting out front. If nothing else he was the manager again another very friendly man that we enjoyed our conversation with. As for the location: we found it very clean. And well kept. If you look at my other past reviews at locations via visited the one thing we really base cleanliness on is sometimes the restrooms. Well, in a shared ladies/men room, it was also very clean and well kept. So I will say again, outstanding location, outstanding staff, and wonderful food. If you're in the area absolutely I would recommend this for your lunchtime meal. We absolutely look forward to going back at a later time and trying some of the other dishes they offer.

She made recommendations and was so attentive and funny. Hubby was between 3 different meals but went with the Hanger steak special. It came with a potato knish, perfectly cooked asparagus, in a burblanque sauce. He said it was one of the best meals he ever had and it was cooked medium rare as he requested. He also had a perfect manhattan. I wasn't super hungry, so I went for the salmon poor boy. It was crunchy and delicious and the sauce was perfect. I had a Saint Germain spritzer which was light and refreshing. We couldn't leave without ordering beignets. They came with a chocolate and a vanilla sauces. Hubby got a coffee that came in a fun cup. The decor in the restaurant was so fun and made people feel welcome.

Starting with the service, the staff were attentive and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. While portion sizes were reasonable, several dishes lacked the creativity and seasoning needed to stand out. The mussels and French onion soup were highlights, but the escargot and rotisserie chicken were only average. For dessert, the Gateau Breton is fantastic and a standout! However, I would skip the beignets if you are expecting the traditional version. These are smaller with the consistency of a donut hole, and lack the light, pillowy texture typically associated with classic beignets.
