But it's fine for what it is. The pizza itself was pretty darn good for a $10 10" pie - perfect for 1. It was piping hot out of the oven, toppings were fresh and plentiful (no skimping on topping portions - see my pic), cheese was gooey, melty and stringy, hand tossed crust was chewy just-so. Guy supplied me with plates, plastic utensils, napkins and condiment packets (you have to ask for them). I was back in my hotel room in a flash. Couldn't ask for any more. Would I seek this place out if I wasn't staying steps away at the Fairfield Inn? No I would not. Sorry - truth. But if you're staying at the Fairfield and you're looking for a decent meal that's fast and cheap and conveniently located, go here. The buffalo wings were also excellent, with just the right amount of kick without overpowering the palate. When I walked in for takeout, the server was very friendly and welcoming. The decor reminds me of old Italy, with influences of Roman Catholic design, including statues and rosary decor. They seem to have loyal customers, as they greeted them by name--which is well-deserved, given how excellent the food is. He was excited about his dishes and would bring us things he was excited about while we waited for a to go order. We got some incredible keylime/cherry pie (the crust is unreal and the filling is the perfect mix of tart and sweet. The chocolate pecan pie made me want to write a song and the baklava was THE BEST IVE EVER HAD EVER..you really need to try it..I don't write reviews but the owner was so nice to our family and the food was so so good..gotta try it!
