Was a great place. Great service and the chef was amazing. We will be back. Came out from Spokane for a treat to ourselves!

The servers are always nice and funny. The wait is a little long, but it's worth it. My favorite there is probably the terriyaki beef.

This…read moreplace has popped up on my feed numerous times since I arrived in town, and decided to check it out. This restaurant is actually an old house that got turned into a restaurant. It is a historical site, I didn't read too much in depth about what it was, but if it's for hot chicken sandwiches, then I can see why. Walking into the place was like walking into someone's home. Literally. It was super warm and inviting, had kind of a rustic feel, and just Good vibes all the way around. I got seated at a table, and started looking over the menu. There was only one waitress there, and she was running around like a crazy woman trying to take care of tables. Tables. She did a great job though so my hats off to her for making sure that every table felt like they were taken care of. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with fries, and a diet Coke. Because hey, I have to watch out for my girlish figure. The sandwich came out, as well as my drink right on time. And so I Dove right in. For starters, these were some of the best french fries I have ever had. I'm pretty sure they're using Lowry's seasoned salt on them, but I can't be sure. Whatever it was. They were super tasty and super crispy without having to be asked for them. Crispy The chicken sandwich itself was great, had a great buffalo sauce on it and had just the right amount of coleslaw and pickles. Every bite was a wonderful experience. I love finding cool new places that I can share with the world, and this is definitely one of them. If I am ever in the Post Falls area again, this will be one of my stops to get a bite to eat. Bottom line? If you are ever traveling through Idaho and find yourself in Post Falls, I would highly recommend you go to this place. Service was great, the chicken sandwich was awesome, and I would love to try some of the other things on the menu.

That being said, service was very good. That's the high point. The WINGS were a disappointment. They were akin to Costco's precooked wings, but these were all about presentation versus good taste. Try not petrifying the meat would be a good start. I had one of the hamburger plates. I really liked the fries. These were well prepared. The hamburger on the other hand was lacking any uniqueness or even quality beef. So if you are one of those people that believes a hamburger should be a culinary experience, this is not the dish you want to get here. Okay, I hate to be the negative Nelly, but the worst part of the upscale experience was the crescendo of noise. It crept up on you as the lunch crowd moved in. It was seriously hard to communicate at your own table. The decor offers little to no sound mitigation. Seriously, consider acoustic tiles. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Prices were fair, given our current economic conditions.

We agreed it was one of the better expresso martinis we have ever had. We got the baked Bri as an appetizer and it was very good the hot honey was a great compliment. My wife got the curry chicken dish I cannot remember the name of it but she loved it and I thought it was very good. I would like to preface that I went in without expecting to be blown away by a 38 dollar steak. However it just wasn't good even for a 10 dollar steak. I ordered their peppercorn sauce on the side and I'm glad I did as it was absolutely heinous and would have rendered the steak completely inedible. As it was the steak was cooked properly to the way I ordered it however I believe they were relying on the sauce for seasoning as this lacked even a hint of salt, pepper or any other seasoning on the meat. To top it off the gas flavor from the grille was quite overpowering. The ribeye was quite tough and lacked any real intramuscular fat which is expected in the price point. But would have been completely fine had the meat been seasoned even the slightest. I would try the restaurant again if ever in town however I would be staying away from the steak for sure. This would eh a great stop for apps and cocktails in my opinion

And when it's a Greek restaurant on top of that, that's basically a recipe for perfection. You can smell this place from blocks away. By the time you get to the parking lot, you're already salivating in anticipation. Vampires be warned: you're not getting within a half mile of this place! Sure, not everything was perfect about our meal: the Sarmisak (garlic dip with walnuts and parmesan) didn't do much for us, and my wife ended up preferring my Bahce over her grill plate (I can't remember the name of it), so we ended up swapping dishes. The Turkish Cigars were a huge hit with both of us, although we both wished they were a bit larger. I'm not sure I quite "get" the running aesthetic going on here at "The White House", as well as their sister establishments "The Oval Office", "The Pentagon", and "The Capitol". I mean, I get the theme, but...why? I don't get the Why of it all. Regardless, it's immaterial. The food is awesome, and worthy of a President. Well, not our current President...but one of the good ones, for sure! The staff are efficient, somehow buzzing about all over the place, managing the chaos (this place was PACKED on a Saturday night), but still managed to be friendly, attentive and focused. And despite ordering two cocktails, two appetizers, and two entreés, our bill was somehow still less than $100, I'd say that you definitely get your money's worth here! Hell, we even took enough leftover back to our hotel to keep us fed almost the entire next day! In short, I would vote whomever is running THIS White House in for a second term...and a third...and a fourth!

But I saw a comment pop up, I think on FB, and so I checked reviews. They were good I called to be sure we could bring our 12 yr old. They said yes. So we went and we were all so surprised how much we loved it. There was live music playing, not too loud, thankfully, but very enjoyable. When the live act is taking a break, they have a digital juke box! It's pricey, seeing how you can own a song for a $1 on iTunes, but, it was fun to pick songs and hear them played. The food was good too. Great Bacon Cheese Burger, Burrito Bowl and Chicken tortilla soup. We shared our food with each other so we could taste it all. It was very nicely done. My wish is that, and this is for bar food places, is that there were more healthy food options. Sometimes when with a group, you just want something healthy. We should all want that. The Bee's Buzz, which the waitress recommended, was just ok. I'll try something else next time. But otherwise, our server was great. Over all, a fun place to eat! Bring the kids!

We arrived about a half hour after they opened and they were already getting busy, but was seated right away. The ambiance was hustle and bustle and probably a bit louder than average since music was playing overhead. Our server, Michaela, greeted us with a smile and good energy. She took our drink order and to see if we already knew what appetizer we wanted, which we ordered the Cactus Blossom. I saw they have new dirty sodas and got a Strawberry and Vanilla Cream with Sprite and it was super delish. Hot rolls and cinnabutter were dropped off and shortly after, our Cactus Blossom. Thus far, everything was tasting great. Then suddenly, the ladies came out and did a line dance for the diners. I was into since they were line dancing to the song, Foot Loose, lol. That was fun to watch! For my entree, of the 3 dockside choices available (see pic), I went with the 5oz Grilled Salmon with 2 sides. I was already getting full and ordered the smaller portion, but they do offer an 8oz portion. The 2 sides I picked were: sweet potato with butter and brown sugar and mac & cheese. My roommate ordered the filet mignon and rib combo with his sides as a cup of chili and fries. The salmon with lemon pepper sauce was amazing! The grill was just right and the sauce was light, not thick, and really flavorful. The sweet potato looked and tasted great. The mac & cheese lacked flavor and should have added the extra cheddar when she asked me. My roommate said his meal was great and that the cook on his meat was spot on. Tonight's dinner was amazing and so was the service! We even had the manager stop by and check on us. By the time we left, it was a packed house.
