**** Review 164 **** This is not a place I thought still existed! While driving around in Hialeah I came across this gem. It has been about 20 years since I had seen one of these, pretty much all the ones up north closed down. So I had to stop by and try a burger. So glad I did! While the staff was Miami nice, the burgers are on point! Had the 1/2lbs Hangover, it comes with cheddar cheese and crispy bacon, then head over to the veggie bar for all the fixings. Bread was nicely toasted, the burger was super juicy and so flavorful. Since I just wanted a quick bite I didn't order anything else. But it was sooooo worth it. Tonight, Sunday September 1st 2024 I was asked to leave the Westlabd store at 10:05 pm by the manager on duty, Andrea. The store closes at 10:00 pm. I was asked to leave at 10:05 and finished my meal at 10:10. As I was outside the store, police arrived. The manager on duty was ANDREA. Horrible experience. The employees all stared at me while she called my attention for being there 5 minutes after close. As soon as I took the last bite the cleaner came and took everything way. She attempted to take my drink. I can give it to you to go she said. I have never been so embarrassed. The police destined and interrogated me like a criminal. Three police cars surrounded my car and I was detained while they conducted their investigation. This place needs to be shut down. They have kids managing this restaurant that are clueless as to what good customer service is. Andrea needs to be properly trained or replaced with a seasoned experienced manager. Very unprofessional of Andrea to throw her weight around when all I did was having my meal. The police even wanted to ID me for this petty incident and I stated that I had not done anything illegal and allowed my fredom back. If you want to be pressured into finishing your meal and treated like a criminal for staying 5 minutes after closing time, if you want to have to police called on you and put your very existence in jeopardy, then come have dinner at Fudruckers Westland mall close to closing time. read more

I used to love Fuddruckers in LA then COVID closed most locations, so imagine my joy when I saw this location open in Hialeah! Sadly, my glee lasted about 5 seconds after walking through the doors. I didn't remember the tomatoes, lettuce, onions and extra fixings were out in a Sizzler buffet styled table and out in the open right after and sort of still in the middle of a world wide pandemic. Still, I thought I'd stop being so judgmental and try the taste I missed so much. We ordered, got our sodas and sat down. First of all, let me say this review is only on the place and the food, not the people I interacted with which were fine. Not rude, answered my questions and you could tell they pretty much 'just work there' and not their fault the place is run down. Yes. Run down. Corporate probably never visits. The ceiling was dusty, the lamps at the tables had pieces of glass falling off, the decor was dusty and the backs of the big round booths were filled with old crumbs, pieces of old food, straws, first, etc. and it's far enough from the front of the table that the workers don't see it. But just lift the cushion and get ready to barf. Now for the food itself. Do not expect the taste of the old Fuddruckers at this location. The burgers were just ok, not fully hot and they forgot the cheese on two of them. I'd be ok with the memory lapse, everyone has a bad day but a warm-ish burger is not ok. I feel bad for the workers because if this is how it looks outside for customers, o don't want to know what it's like for them in the back. Mostly they were quiet and resigned to their lit in life. I feel for them. I hope Fuddruckers corporate reads this and does something about it. Their workers should be happy, the place should be updated and the burgers should once again taste like.... Food was ok. Cleanliness is what you would expect from a place like this. Management was disappointing. My toddler spilt her shake as soon as she sat down. I asked the manager for a rag to clean it up because the napkins I was using weren't cutting it. He saw she spilt the whole shake and sent someone to clean it up. Never offered to send another shake for the 2 year old who was sad about her shake. I know it's not their fault my kid spilt it but not really great customer service to leave a toddler sad asking about her shake the whole time. read more

Attending UM, one of my tennis buddies, introduced me to this chain before Target took over the shopping plaza. That one location was huge, too bug for the business but the burgers were so so good. Fast forward to last week when I was passing through the Hialeah area and decided to pay them a visit; they've been there for close to 14 years so they're well established in Westland Mall. Gone are the days of seeing the butcher show through glass when you could see them ground up meat from half a cow; it was the coolest thing for sure. Today I'm told they still hand pack their patties, but you don't see that whole process anymore which I'm a bit skeptical...the burgers are perfectly round and the edges are creased as if you get them from a purveyor; plus the meat is packed down really dense which doesn't come out the same way by hand. 3/5 Half Pound Burger with Fries and Drink $9.28 ordered medium rare and came out just right. We both upgraded our fries to the chili cheese fries and they were ok. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the bread they served with the burger; I remember their bread being the very one thing that set themselves apart from all other burger places and the one I had as dry, almost tasted like it was from the day before. I did see them bring bread from the baker side to the kitchen side which tells me it's freshly made...perhaps the one I was served was from the day before or maybe just over baked? 3/5 Onion Rings $3.49 we decent; they weren't done by hand on the spot, but just brought in battered, ready to fry. Every time we go to FR I am completely satisfied. The Kobe beef burger was super & they simply have the best butter buns in the world. Always fresh lettuce, etc., with super fries. The burger and fries were great! The shake was mid. The service was meh everyone seemed upset working there. And the place in general felt icky. The rug has a bad smell that lingers throughout the restaurant. The veggies that were laid out for people to add to their meals looked like it had been laying out all day without being changed. I love Fudruckers. There really is nothing you can order on the menu and be disappointed with. Everything is at least decent for the price. But what really makes this place special is the sauce station. You can really just get an unlimited amount of liquid cheese sauce and there is very little anyone can do to stop you. You could, as I have once done, bring a mason jar from home and just fill it up with the cheese sauce. My personal favorite is the hangover burger. This is because it's the most amount of food for the price and you'll quite literally feel hungover after the massive food coma it will put you in. The atmosphere is great. It's old and vintage and reminds me of a simpler time- a time when gas was a nickel a gallon, politics were simple and my wife couldn't vote. The atmosphere in Fudruckers really helps me get into my old timer conservative headspace for when I'm about to go to marriage counseling. Please try a milkshake too! I cannot go to Fudruckers without getting an Oreo shake. As for the staff, everyone is generally friendly. I kind of felt bad for the new kid working the register because you could tell it was his first day and he was very nervous. We been coming here for years. And is has always been ok nothing to rave about but never bad. Today it was the lowest we have experienced. Food was mediocre at best. Fries and onion rings were fried with what appeared to be cold oil because they were sponges of oil and honestly not eatable. The chicken strips were the only item that was well cooked. And now to the highlight of the event. The burger I had was ok until I had to take a hair out of my mouth that was in the beef. It is disgusting and I did not eat the rest of it. I walked up to the manager and told him that I found a hair in the burger and his first reaction was to look at the crew in the kitchen. I told him before he would comment that yes, they are all wearing hair nets but it doesn't change the fact that was a hair in the burger. I also told him I was letting him know not because I want a free meal, but to please do something about it because the quality has gone down the drain. He offered a free cookie for the trouble... a free cookie! I just left it at that and told him no thanks. We will not be eating at this location any more. Went there for early dinner with family after not having been to a fuddruckers in probably almost 30 years. The restaurant was Soso, it smelled as if the floors were mopped with dirty water because there was a sour smell. There was no iced tea in the tea cauldron, there was no lemonade in the cola dispenser. Buuuuut, the hamburgers were as delicious as I remembered. I have really missed the fuddruckers hamburgers. Not to begin with the fact that there was only one cashier and oh, they don't even give you a receipt. They say they need to keep it. That's one thing, but the food? So I have been a regular at this restaurant for years, Always ordering the 3/4 burger combo. Today I decided to change what I ordered due to the new burger they were promoting, "The Blackened Cajun Burger, 100% all-American beef is seasoned and grilled with blackened seasoning, topped with Pepper Jack cheese, sauteed onions and peppers, slices of andouille sausage, and remoulade sauce." So there I was all in and ready to experience this amazing masterpiece. Got the burger and I was like, "what the...". Disappointment kicked in. First looked nothing like the picture, not even close. The andouille sausage was 3 little pieces that were so small I had to dig for it. The sauteed onions and peppers were overcooked and so greasy that the buns were drenched in it. Ah, it's OK. One aspect of Hialeah that I wasn't impressed was the Fuddruckers in WESTLAND Mall. I'm not saying it's bad, it just didn't have that "Daleee" spark Pitbull made famous. After going through the torturous process of Christmas shopping, I needed sustenance thus ending up here. Take the fries, for example. Yes, they were hot and spicy and I could spice them further with as much BBQ sauce as my heart desires, but if I say there were twenty fries with my order I would be counting extra. So yes, the portions were a little skimpy. Next up is my Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The buffalo seasoning was available only with the crispy chicken breast, kind of proving the "frozen processed" theory. There are some more economical fast food places that let you cross check your sauces and meat textures. Still I like their unlimited soda refills, and the fact you can pick as much or as little of your veggie toppings. The 50's Roadside Diner decor is Kitschy Cute too. read more

On a quiet evening in a mediocre town called Hialeah, thrives a business called Fuddruckers. Upon entering you hear classic hits with wall art all over. After waiting a short period in line I was greeted by cashier Rashel. Pleasant lady and very attentive, was able to take out order and recite it back to verify we are receiving what we wish. She handed me a pager and sat in a booth. The booth had cracked leather but cleanly. I ordered a bourbon burger medium and out came well done. Don't want to wait for another burger but the cook needs to work on his skill set. A gentlemen named Seth approached our table to offer his service if need be. He picked up our dishes and refill our sodas. I couldn't have asked for a better evening than a night in Fuddruckers. read more

Coming here has been the absolute worst restaurant experience I've ever gone through in my life and it's safe to say I won't ever be coming back. When cleaning the restrooms, as a staff member it's completely unprofessional, and a HUGE HEALTH HAZARD to be walking in-and-out of the kitchen with a mop bucket of feces-filled water while making loud obscenities to draw in unwanted attention. What should have happened, was as soon as the custodian noticed the bathroom was unusable, the bathroom should've been locked and a sign should be put on preventing people from further using the restroom. People were walking in-and-out of that bathroom as buckets of water were used to hose down the toilet. I lost my appetite, and couldn't finish my food which was already burnt. Pretty disgusting experience. The fact that you could smell the ammonia coming in-and-out of the bathroom was enough to make anyone sick to their stomach. read more

Haven't had a Fuddruckers Hot dog in awhile. Went today and this is what i got. Was i not supposed to notice? I asked one of the girls who was walking around as though she was half asleep if this was the norm. She nodded and said "yes" then i see someone with. Hotdog in their typical bun. I went to the counter and was told they didn't have any (they make their own bread) and because it was going to be awhile, he figured this would be ok. This is a pretty good Fuddruckers, but I just wish there was one closer to me. It's a thirty-minute drive to get to this location, and that includes traffic, ugh. Anyway, the one plus side is the employees that work here have always been friendly and courteous. The food is very tasty and I think the price is also pretty reasonable. This specific facility is very clean inside, other than their bathrooms. Today I went to go to use the bathroom, but of course, both stalls were filthy and both were sprinkled with urine. Gross. People really need to learn to clean up after themselves if they're going to do that... Another downside to this location is the parking lot. It takes quite a bit of time to hunt down a parking spot, and other drivers are not very inviting in allowing you to navigate the parking lot. So yeah, the employees are nice, the food is pretty good, but the bathrooms are a no-go. read more

After shopping at Westland Mall a bit, I decided to grab a burger at Fuddruckers. I ordered a 2/3 pound burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, side of fries and a coke. The bun was nice and warm with a buttery flavor inside. The beef pattie was tender and well cooked with a perfect combination of veggies adding to the flavor of the entire meal. They have a toppings bar so you can add your own toppings if needed. The fries were wedge cut and had a great crispy taste. I added some more salt to them though. The layout of the dining room is a bit congested and the bathrooms are somewhat small. Despite that, I'd say Fuddruckers is a great burger spot to visit. read more

Fuddruckers is one of my favorite burger joints! It's crazy to me how the franchise at one point was running out of business. The food and shakes are absolutely delicious! From the juicy burgers made with their homemade buns, this is the burger place to be! This location can be particularly loud (it's Hialeah so it's expected), and parking can be a hassle depending on the time since it's located in Westland mall. Food is ready fast and I love that you can add all the lettuce, tomatoes, sauces, ext. you'd like!
