Probably the best Al Pastor tacos and elotes I've had outside of Mexico. SO DANG GOOD!! You will not be disappointed

Came here on a busy Friday night. I ordered Birria tacos and a crab cake. Food came quick! The crab cake is new and it's amazing. I'd recommend it to everyone. The sauce and side it's paired with is fantastic. Absolutely will order again!! The tacos are also great! (Messy so get extra napkins) I suggest asking for a side of hot sauce (or two) their sauces are packed with flavor!! The staff at this cart have a great energy to them and are all extremely friendly!

The cliff notes on this place: - food looks beautiful and tastes delicious, - rotating specials with whatever's fresh in season, - a few vegetarian options like a solid large veggie burrito (though I would always appreciate more veg or even vegan options!), - super friendly staff, - quick and organized service, - located in a really neat pod with amenities like a parking lot, bathroom, indoor and outdoor seating, and a taproom. I highly recommend stopping by Fuego All Day if you're in the area or even driving out to Happy Valley if you're not - because this food is crave-worthy and this location is a destination!

Ok, 18 months ago I adored this place because of the Birria tacos. Over the past 3-4 months they have either been out of them or the beef was pure fat and greasy with a crazy increased wait time. Wife and I came back to the station so she could get a Gordita at 3:30pm and they were out?? I even brought family here a few times to be embarrassed as they were out of product or it was not quality like it use to be. So we left and had to go back out of our way to El Jefe in Portland. Really wish they could get their quality back and product availability. For the price it should always be perfect and available at normal dining times. Whats changed???

Today was our third trip to Fuego in less than a month at the Happy Valley location. We can't stop thinking about those Birria Tacos! With melted cheese and the ample amount of meat, they do not disappoint. The little bowl of dipping sauce with roasted pepper complement the meal. There are three tacos to a meal, which are very filling and can be shared. Be sure to try the guacamole too!

Excellent! The best asada tacos I've had! Prices are not bad either. I got two asada tacos for $10 and it came with the rice and beans! I started eating in the car before I took the picture, couldn't wait lol. I'll probably be back today as I was craving it all night!!

Soooo good... and ready in 5min flat. I grew up around Mexican cuisine and this blew other restaurants out of the water. The meat was moist, well marinated and cooked perfectly. I'm a regular at the carts and so happy I took a chance on this cart... it'll be our new regular. Awesome people working there too.

    A lot.

Great presentation and food looked amazing. However, it's a one shot deal for me. There's a lot going on with their dishes because of all the pairing of vegetables with protein as well as the many sauces that are already on the tacos. To the point where there's too much going on and there's no real distinction. The green taco sauce was great and really thats all I remember from this colorful dish. That is the problem because if I order a fish taco I want to remember the fish and if I order a lobster taco I want the lobster to stand out. The owner reaches out immediately to me and tells me it's a negative review and he doesn't need Any negativity on the site. I'm not your buddy and I was an executive chef for over 17 years. I cooked for Kevin Costner and his wife on several occasions as well as many other celebrities. I don't know who you think you are, but now I'm gonna let you have it. I learned over 3 decades from other chefs. I take constructive criticism well. How would I have known not to order all the stuff if I've never eaten there before period. I gave an honest review and you attacked me. Now I'm changing your 3 stars to 1 star. No reasonably sound minded person would have reacted to my review and 3 stars. They would have taken what I said and put it to thought. I was actually looking forward to possibly trying different dishes, but I don't like your attitude.

And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Love me some Happy Valley Station!…read more This is like the upscale farmers market of food carts- park your car, enjoy the landscaping, and check it all out. Dog friendly, Kid friendly, 100-year old friendly. Lots of clean and tidy indoor and outdoor cafeteria-style seating to choose from. Carts are covered from the rain, but outside. Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!

"Let me know if you have any questions!". We had questions about her menu items, and she answered them nicely and thoroughly, in detail. Okay, so we order two things: the S3 and the Spicy Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, and here's what U think about each: Tonkotsu Ramen: -The Meat doesn't have a huge initial, impactful taste, but the flavor settles in a couple seconds after you bite it and it's a very soft, warming feeling. -The Broth is where the spice is, and it's not like "oh my mouth is on fire" it's the type of spice that hits you in the back of the throat, so it's bearable but I couldn't chug it personally, I had to take sips which is nice for someone who devours their food like there's no tomorrow (like me). -The Noodles are.. just your typical Ramen noodles, nothing special to add there but nothing bad to say at all! -The Egg, although not marinated in soy sauce like some places do, was cooked well. The inside was soft and gooey, but the white was fully cooked. I have no complaints! -The Mushrooms added a nice texture to the noodles and the overall dish, and worked to make it even more satisfactory. The S3: -I don't have much to say because my cousin ordered it and I only had a few bites, but the veggies were cooked nicely... -The big boom about it was the noodles. If I had to describe it, I would say it's like.. an Orange Chicken type of Tater Tot, it was really unique and fun to eat. Next time I go, it'll be hard to decide what to order.. Okay, don't just take my word for it, go see for yourself! いただきます!

You ever go somewhere thinking you'll just grab a quick bite, and next thing you know you're planning your return before you've even finished chewing? That's this place. What I like is they don't box themselves in. You've got Korean, Hawaiian, and a little mix of everything going on. I lean Hawaiian most days, something about it just hits right, especially when you're not trying to go all in. Sometimes you're just grabbing food, maybe bringing something back for later, pacing yourself like a responsible adult. This is that kind of spot. It works with you, not against you. And here's the thing, I used to write those safe reviews. "It's cute. Nice service." That tells nobody anything. That's background noise. This place deserves better than that. This is a spot you actually remember. Friendly people, solid food, and a consistency that turns a casual stop into a routine. Happy Valley's already a great area, so you're starting off on the right foot just being there. But if you're walking into that food cart pod and wondering where to go, I'm telling you straight up, this is one of the top choices. No overthinking it. Take my word for it, or don't. Either way, you'll end up here eventually.

My go-tos are the Shoyu or Teriyaki chicken plates, the Kalua Pork Plate, or the Bibimbap. My only do-betters are that the teriyaki chicken can sometimes be dry, and I wish both the chicken dishes came with a sauce. They do have sriracha packets if you ask. The plates come with rice, a small lettuce salad and dressing (could use a little more of that sometimes), and a mac salad with pretty simple black pepper seasoning. It's a good amount of food for the price. I also really appreciate, and choose to visit K-Bop, because they use the compostable clamshell containers, and not the wasteful single-use plastic like so many others. Recommended if you're stopping by his cart pod.
