I ordered one street taco, fuego fries, and a Birria taco. First off the consomme soup/dip was sold separately from the Birria taco. Major red flag! I've been to a handful of taquerias for Birria and never paid for consommé separately. Also the Birria was purely meat missing cheese! Next we have the fuego fries, just a to go cartoon filled like a swamp with nacho cheese. Barely any substance. I had to fight my fork through the mudslide of cheese to find any meat or fries. From pictures I was expecting a lot of fries with meat on top and cheese but what I got was a blob of cheese with almost nothing. Lastly the street taco I ordered was carne asada. First time. Ordered Carne Asada nachos, a side of rice and beans, birria taquitos and applied the check in offer to get the single birria tack which came with consome. It was my first time trying birria with consome. The consome did not have any veggies in it, just broth but the broth was tasty. The birria was cooked well and the homemade tortilla was the best part. The nachos had more nacho cheese than actual cheese. I wish there had been more jalapeños and asada.
