Excellent service. I believe they don't answer their phone as not to take away the focus of the customers at the location... so you'll need to come in and order. I stopped in right before closing, and there were so many things I wanted to try - heard about this place from Claremont Connects on Facebook, the Quessabirria tacos with Birria were delicious. I had asked for (2) Beef Birria and (1) Al Pastor, but I got 2 Al Pastor... It's fine, they did me a favor by mixing it up. I liked the Beef Birria better than the Al Pastor. Would have been nice if the person would have told us it's going to be a 30 minute wait. Then we ordered 12 tacos total and didn't catch that we were charged for 14 tacos. 10 carne asada and 2 birria tacos. I was so disappointed I was really looking forward to trying the birria tacos and saw there was no sauce for them? The tacos had meat which was good. But I thought the carne asada was a little salty. I wish the green salsa was a little hotter but flavorful. The red salsa was definitely spicy but I don't care for a Smokey taste. I was craving Mexican food on my road trip and I found good reviews for Taco About Good so I tried it. Ordered the wet burrito with pastor meat. The burrito was a good size and had lots of sauce and cheese on top. It was tasty but not very spicy. It needed a kick. A salsa bar would have been perfect but they didn't have one. It was just okay! I had heard a few things about this place a couple times all good things. These are definitely not authentic tacos, I've had much better pastor tacos elsewhere. I tried it because it's near my work but idk if I'll be back. They don't offer cebollas asadas, I guess they have chile Serrano and he offered me one but when I got my food (it was to go) I never got it after all. Must've been forgotten. I came in to see if the Instagram/TikTok hype was true and of course it wasn't. Shame on whoever hyped this place up. The lady in front of me told me their carnitas are amazing and the cashier agreed...so I got 2 asada and 2 carnitas tacos. Smh. The carnitas were so dry and cold I was shocked they served it to me. The Mexican (Yelp told me I can't use competitor names) grocery store sells carnitas for $9.99 lbs and $6lbs on Mondays and they are 100x better that that carnitas here. Sorry but it's true. The asada...low quality meat, precooked, cold and chewy. You can tell they just heated up the tortillas and threw on some precooked dry meat and called it a day. Come on guys your a taco shop....do you really reallllyyy think you compare to any of the street vendors??? I think it was the owner I saw that greeted me...he was nice. I had a burrito with asada and cheese only, and it tasted amazing with the green sauce that was in the bottle. I will start with the good, the tri tip quesadilla was delicious. The flavor was good. What I was disappointed with was the carne asada burrito. I ordered an all meat burrito and the meat lacked flavor and was tough. I wouldn't order that again. We also ordered the bean and cheese burrito to try and it ok. I had high expectations for this new taco spot in Upland...and they DELIVERED! I've been on the hunt for delicious tacos in this area and am thrilled to finally find them. We tried the carne asada tacos and they were bomb! We also tried the burritos (which are a good size with whole beans). Everything was fresh, tasty, and they use high-quality ingredients. Kyra provided us great service as our first introduction to this spot. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Javier, who was so kind and humble.
