Need a hot water dispenser? Rice cooker?…read more Coffee or tea making supplies? They likely have it. My first time here was on a Saturday a few months ago. A friend's hot water dispenser ceased to function. Being around 9:30 am and on a tight schedule, I was stressed when I learned my usual shopping place was not open yet. After pausing and collecting my thoughts, I remembered this store a couple of blocks away and rushed over. Relieved that this store was open, I studied their selection carefully, targeting only the ones bearing the Zogirushi brand. There were about five different models in varying sizes. Comparing the prices and sizes, I noticed one that had a price that was crossed out with lower dollar amount below it. Yep, that's the one I got. Fast forward two months later, our home hot water dispenser decides not to dispense water. No need to ask where I went. Looked down the shelf, again for a Zogirushi, and bought another marked down 5-liter dispenser (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=M9_dOP3hVJXSel86BleNRQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). A gentleman went to the back and brought me sealed box to the cashier where I paid. The lady asked whether I could pay cash for it but I didn't bring enough C notes so I paid her $50 and charged the remaining balance. I was in and out of the store in about ten minutes. Yes, that's how I shop. It's located in the middle of block on Stockton St. where it can and does still get crowded with a few produce stores, a dried goods shop, and an herb store surrounding it. If you're looking for a coffee maker, hot water dispenser, or rice cooker, this is certainly a convenient spot to shop if you are in or around Chinatown.

Stay away from this business!!! I had purchased a sheet set from them in December 2022 for $120 and…read moreafter a few washes the sheet is coming apart. I contacted them about returning it for another sheet set and they told me their return policy is 30 days but they can offer me a basic 10% discount on my next order. Why would I give you more of my money for another possible defective item? I will never do business with this company again and I advise everyone else to do the same because they don't appreciate their customers.

It was not a "custom" order item and there was no notice that the delay in delivering the rug would be so long at the time I placed my order. Had I known, I would have purchased a rug elsewhere. I have been tracking my order regularly since placing the order. I have had an original delivery date window of Mon, Nov 21 - Wed, Nov 23, but no rug. After that date passed the delivery date window was changed by PB to Wed, Dec 14 - Fri, Dec 16. Again, no rug. Next, tracking sent us a notice that the rug had arrived in Hickory, NC to the PB loading dock on Tue, Dec 20 @ 8:52am. Great news so we thought, the rug is close! We live in South Carolina. The delivery window was changed yet again to Mon, Jan 9 - Tue, Jan 10. We thought 3 weeks delay to deliver the rug was a bit long, but on Sat, Jan 7 the delivery window was changed by PB yet again to Mon, Jan 30 - Wed, Feb 1. I want to schedule my delivery, but after I spoke with 4 different Scheduling customer service workers this week, I find out that my rug is not at their loading dock, but at another warehouse and not ready for a delivery to be scheduled yet. Pottery Barn has my money and my rug. NOW on January 25th the delivery date was pushed out again until Feb. 10th! Pottery Barn customer service is TERRIBLE. The quality of the items I have previously purchased in the past have been great, but I will NEVER buy another item from Pottery Barn again after this nightmare!!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! Yelp requires a minimum of 1 star. PB deserves a negative star rating in my opinion. I have recently filed an official complaint with the BBB on-line! The delivery window for this rug has changed FIVE (5) times over the past FOUR (4) MONTHS!!! Hickory, NC is LESS than 150 MILES from our residence in Blair, SC There is NO EXCUSE for this rug to have been sitting at any warehouse for OVER SIX (6) WEEKS! PB's "customer service" response email was NOT a resolution to this matter. The RESOLUTION would be having the rug delivered to our front door! PB "customer service" monitoring will do nothing to get the rug to us any faster. Pottery Barn should be ashamed and embarrassed by this failure to deliver a product from their Website in a timely manner! First and foremost I would like to understand why all the bad, negative reviews on this company…read morethat has been in business for sooooooo many decades!! That's right decades! Too be honest with you, it never crossed my mind to write a review on Cuisinart Sales & Services. Recently, on the 1st or the 2nd of July, we bought a small, tiny grill from Amazon with Cuisinart brand. It had a survey code to scan their QR code or simply go on their site: bit.ly/CuisinartGrilling and give them my candid review/feedback. Unfortunately, after trying it for like 5 times and calling their customer service #, I wasn't able to get in contact with anyone and wasn't able to give them my 5 star feedback. I don't know why the phone # is giving me a busy signal and I wasn't able to thank them for the grill that we bought by giving our fair share of rating. Tried calling their customer service # literally 6 times back to back. No answer. Moving forward, for so many decades we purchased so many different products/appliances from food processors, toasters, coffee makers, pots and pans, blenders, waffle makers, indoor grill (to place on top of a stove,) and the most recent item was the small grill. We took it to the park, grilled our different kind of meats and vegetables for 4th of July and ate them. It came out PERFECT! SIMPLY DELICIOUS! We have ordered things online and in different stores where they sell/sold Cuisinart brand and never had any problems with it. Why 4 stars? Because no-one is answering the phone after calling 6x and wasn't able to give my 5 star review on their site. Please check the phone number and your website. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Depending on what you buy and where you buy it from?? Store or online. Thank You.

I am extremely disappointed with the after-sales service I received from San Jose Appliance Store…read more So disappointed, in fact, that I intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When my old oven stopped heating, I decided it made more sense to replace it than repair it. While searching Craigslist, I found San Jose Appliance Store and an oven that seemed to fit my needs. I contacted the company, and Anthony responded promptly. We agreed on a price and arranged delivery. I noticed from the online photos that the oven needed a replacement handle, which I considered a minor issue. Unfortunately, I later discovered that the problems went far beyond cosmetic wear. The oven was delivered quickly, which I appreciated, and my old oven was hauled away--for an additional fee. However, after installation, the front burner would not ignite properly. When it did eventually light, it often released gas into the kitchen first, creating a strong odor and what I believe was a potentially dangerous safety hazard. To their credit, the company did send someone out to inspect the stove. The repair technician, whom I believe was Anthony's father, was courteous and even waited 15 minutes while I picked up my son from school. Unfortunately, the repair itself was unsuccessful. During the service visit, brake cleaner was sprayed inside my kitchen while the technician was attempting to repair the burner. Brake cleaner is an industrial product intended for use in well-ventilated areas, and the odor lingered throughout the house. Both my wife and son complained about the fumes, and my 9-year-old later developed a headache. Whether related or not, the situation was concerning and certainly not something I expected during an appliance repair. A day or two later, I followed up with Anthony regarding the status of the repair. He assured me the matter was being handled. Then, at approximately 6:30 pm one evening, I received an unexpected knock at my door. Anthony's father had arrived unannounced with a replacement part. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the wrong part. At that point, I decided to investigate the issue myself. After spending considerable time with GE's parts department, I learned that the serial number listed in the sales advertisement was incorrect. Once the correct information was identified, I discovered the stove was also missing two shelves and required a replacement handle. I ultimately spent approximately $70 on a new handle and another $80 on replacement racks. However, I was unwilling to spend an additional $210 on a burner assembly after already investing approximately $1,000 in the appliance. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an itemized breakdown of the charges because the company mistakenly provided me with another customer's invoice instead of my own. When I raised these concerns with Anthony, his attitude changed noticeably. He stated that I had purchased the stove "as is," even though it came with a 30-day warranty. He further suggested that the missing racks and defective burner were merely cosmetic issues and accused me of "trying to demand money" from him. At one point, I was told, "You can tell your wife to buy a new handle." To be clear, I have never demanded money. My only request has been simple: provide an oven that works safely and as represented. I even suggested that the company purchase the correct replacement parts from GE and have them shipped directly to me. That request was ignored. Anthony later mentioned the possibility of a trade-in arrangement to resolve the issue. However, after briefly raising that possibility, I received multiple messages indicating that no exchange would take place. Nothing further was done to address the problem other than providing me with his father's phone number for yet another repair attempt. By that stage, my confidence in the repair process was gone. Adding to my frustration, I later visited the company's website and discovered that the oven I had paid to have hauled away was being advertised for sale for approximately $500. In other words, I paid the company to remove my appliance, only to find it listed for resale. At this point, I have decided to purchase the necessary burner myself and hire a qualified appliance technician to properly inspect and repair the stove. This has been an expensive lesson. I hope sharing my experience helps other consumers make a more informed decision. I was not looking for a discount, a refund, or special treatment. I simply wanted an oven that worked safely and a company that stood behind its warranty.
