Need a hot water dispenser? Rice cooker?…read more Coffee or tea making supplies? They likely have it. My first time here was on a Saturday a few months ago. A friend's hot water dispenser ceased to function. Being around 9:30 am and on a tight schedule, I was stressed when I learned my usual shopping place was not open yet. After pausing and collecting my thoughts, I remembered this store a couple of blocks away and rushed over. Relieved that this store was open, I studied their selection carefully, targeting only the ones bearing the Zogirushi brand. There were about five different models in varying sizes. Comparing the prices and sizes, I noticed one that had a price that was crossed out with lower dollar amount below it. Yep, that's the one I got. Fast forward two months later, our home hot water dispenser decides not to dispense water. No need to ask where I went. Looked down the shelf, again for a Zogirushi, and bought another marked down 5-liter dispenser (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=M9_dOP3hVJXSel86BleNRQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). A gentleman went to the back and brought me sealed box to the cashier where I paid. The lady asked whether I could pay cash for it but I didn't bring enough C notes so I paid her $50 and charged the remaining balance. I was in and out of the store in about ten minutes. Yes, that's how I shop. It's located in the middle of block on Stockton St. where it can and does still get crowded with a few produce stores, a dried goods shop, and an herb store surrounding it. If you're looking for a coffee maker, hot water dispenser, or rice cooker, this is certainly a convenient spot to shop if you are in or around Chinatown.

Stay away from this business!!! I had purchased a sheet set from them in December 2022 for $120 and…read moreafter a few washes the sheet is coming apart. I contacted them about returning it for another sheet set and they told me their return policy is 30 days but they can offer me a basic 10% discount on my next order. Why would I give you more of my money for another possible defective item? I will never do business with this company again and I advise everyone else to do the same because they don't appreciate their customers.

This is a review of the parent company of West Elm. TL;DR…read moredo **NOT** buy anything that you cannot get in the store, and expect privacy violations with your data. It has been more than a month since we ordered a couch, but still no couch. First it arrived broken. Then the replacement parts get misplaced at the warehouse. We were supposed to get the replacement couch last Friday. Then it was supposed to be today. Once again, a call comes saying someone screwed up. Now we don't even know when (if) it will come. 2-3 weeks really means 2-3 months. This is what you get for a $299 shipping fee. And to add injury to insult, they somehow got ahold of my three-year-old child's name and are addressing the delivery confirmation/shipping emails to him. It seems WSI is spending far more money on their ML/DA departments then on actual product. I guess COPPA means nothing to WSI.

First and foremost I would like to understand why all the bad, negative reviews on this company…read morethat has been in business for sooooooo many decades!! That's right decades! Too be honest with you, it never crossed my mind to write a review on Cuisinart Sales & Services. Recently, on the 1st or the 2nd of July, we bought a small, tiny grill from Amazon with Cuisinart brand. It had a survey code to scan their QR code or simply go on their site: bit.ly/CuisinartGrilling and give them my candid review/feedback. Unfortunately, after trying it for like 5 times and calling their customer service #, I wasn't able to get in contact with anyone and wasn't able to give them my 5 star feedback. I don't know why the phone # is giving me a busy signal and I wasn't able to thank them for the grill that we bought by giving our fair share of rating. Tried calling their customer service # literally 6 times back to back. No answer. Moving forward, for so many decades we purchased so many different products/appliances from food processors, toasters, coffee makers, pots and pans, blenders, waffle makers, indoor grill (to place on top of a stove,) and the most recent item was the small grill. We took it to the park, grilled our different kind of meats and vegetables for 4th of July and ate them. It came out PERFECT! SIMPLY DELICIOUS! We have ordered things online and in different stores where they sell/sold Cuisinart brand and never had any problems with it. Why 4 stars? Because no-one is answering the phone after calling 6x and wasn't able to give my 5 star review on their site. Please check the phone number and your website. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Depending on what you buy and where you buy it from?? Store or online. Thank You.

I am extremely disappointed with the after-sales service I received from San Jose Appliance Store…read moreand intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When my old oven stopped heating, I decided to replace it rather than repair it. I found San Jose Appliance Store through Craigslist, contacted Anthony, and arranged delivery of a used oven. The oven was delivered promptly, and my old oven was hauled away for an additional fee. Unfortunately, after installation, I discovered that the front burner would not ignite properly. When it did light, it often released gas into the kitchen first, creating what I believed to be a serious safety concern. To the company's credit, they sent a technician to inspect the stove. The technician was courteous, but the repair was unsuccessful. During the visit, brake cleaner was sprayed inside my kitchen, leaving strong fumes throughout the house. My wife and son both complained about the odor, and my son later developed a headache. A few days later, another repair attempt was made when a replacement part was brought to my home unannounced. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part. I then contacted GE directly and discovered that the serial number listed in the advertisement was incorrect. Once the correct information was identified, I learned the stove was also missing two racks and required a replacement handle. I ultimately spent about $150 replacing those items. I was also unable to obtain a proper invoice because I was mistakenly given another customer's paperwork. When I raised these concerns, I was told the stove had been sold "as is" despite the advertised 30-day warranty. I was also told the missing parts and defective burner were merely cosmetic issues and accused of "trying to demand money." To be clear, I never demanded money. I simply asked the company to provide the correct replacement part so the stove could be repaired safely and function as represented. That request was never fulfilled. Anthony briefly suggested a trade-in arrangement, but multiple messages later indicated that no exchange would take place. The only remaining option offered was another repair attempt, by which point I had lost confidence in the process. Adding to my frustration, I later discovered that the oven I paid to have hauled away was being advertised for resale on the company's website. At this point, I have purchased the necessary burner part myself and will hire a qualified technician to complete the repair. This has been an expensive lesson. I was not seeking a refund, discount, or special treatment. I simply wanted an oven that worked safely and a company that stood behind its warranty. Update: In response to the owner's reply, I would like to clarify a few points. My concerns remain unchanged. The oven was sold with a faulty burner, and despite two repair attempts, the issue was never resolved. I also did not "demand" money. I initially proposed a simple solution: that the business owner obtain the correct replacement part and ship it to me, which would have eliminated the need for any refund. When no effective resolution was provided, I purchased the correct part myself. This was not merely a cosmetic matter. The issue involved a burner that failed to ignite properly and allowed gas to accumulate before lighting, which I considered a legitimate safety concern. At this point, I no longer expect this business to honor its warranty when doing so is inconvenient or costly. My review is based solely on my personal experience. I encourage prospective customers to consider all available information, including both the owner's response and customer reviews, and make their own informed decision.
