*Business closing notice* I kind of had an inkling something was going on with this Fuego location as there seemed to be less merchandise after the holiday season and fairly significant discounts. My suspicions were confirmed yesterday that this location is permanently closing and the merchandise is 50% off. I saw a sign on the door that the store was closing and that they needed boxes from whoever had any to spare. I looked online and indeed a lot of locations for Fuego have closed or are in the process of closing but I don't think the entire company is going defunct. At the moment in the Tacoma Mall the discounts for all merchandise is 50% off so now is a great time to swing by for possible purchases from this store. read more

I've been in this store a couple of times. It's definitely expensive. But it's clearly a small business so I'm a lot more lenient with it. I decided to try one of their bags and the girl working just finished making a nature themed bag. I love it! I'll be back to buy more eventually because this is fun. Given how expensive the store is in general I think this is definitely a solid method to afford quirky things there! read more

Fun little shop to browse or buy for a kid or gag-gift. Where else can I find Trump voodoo dolls or cat socks? Or mermaid items or dads-day signs? The store signage out front of "75% off" always draws me in, but it's usually on items I'm not impressed with. Their staff are down-to-earth and eclectic, but that's what I love about this store; it's funky and fun! read more

I'm usually not one to complain but the people working around 4 o clock today were completely rude. Throwing shirts that were unfolded right in front of us. Like the basket was not even far from us and he apologized and then did it again. We asked if there were nose rings and the girl didn't even look alive she was basically sleeping when we asked. The male replied no we don't have anything like that here, we started to walk out and he said as soon as it turns 430 "we're fucking outta here". read more

My grandkids love coming to this store, they always find something unique in here. My husband and I get gifts for our kids here as stocking stuffers as well during the holidays, though I wouldn't recommend going there around that time because the store is extremely small and too many people all in there at once, I suggest get your gift while you can now, so you don't have to deal with the rush later. I love Fuego! This is one of my favorite finds when we moved to the Pacific Northwest. Not expecting anything new or exciting at the mall, I walked into Fuego and was shocked how many things I wanted to buy right away. I love jewelry and items that just make you laugh, like the grumpy cat t-shirt or flask that can hold an entire fifth of liquor. This is everything that Hot Topic used to be to me but I grew out of their kitch. The staff are also superb here. I'm in my late 20s and I don't feel out of place here. They frequently have sales and deals, like jewelry buy two get one free or buy a scarf and get half off sunglasses. Makes my shopping more difficult because I have so many decisions to make. Their pieces are high quality and last. This is a great place to shop for gifts or for yourself! read more

My family and I have been long time customers at Fuego. We had an encounter today that has left us angry and upset. My mom and I took my 14 year old daughter and her friend to Tacoma mall. My mother and I went into the store next door and the girls went to Fuego. When they came out of the store they were upset. They told us that while they were wandering around the store, one of the ladies that worked there approached them and said "No, no, no, empty your pockets.". My daughter doesn't carry a purse so she had her money and chapstick and phone in her sweatshirt pockets. She emptied them and the woman looked at her stuff and walked away. The girls were confused and uncomfortable. They've never had anything like this happen. I went back to Fuego and confronted the lady, it turns out that she is a manager. I asked her if she saw either girl take anything, she said no. She claimed that they were acting "suspicious" and the store has had a lot of shoplifters recently.  She said that my daughter's pockets looked full and she was concerned that the girls had taken something.  She claimed that this is Fuego's policy. In my many years in retail, it has always been the standard that unless you see someone take something or set off an alarm, you can not accuse someone of theft or demand that they do anything. The only thing suspicious about the girls is that they are teenagers.  Confronting the girls in the middle of a crowded store and demanding that they empty their pockets immediately was embarrassing and they were frightened. My daughter loves that store and was there to do some Christmas shopping.  I am very upset by this and if this is how you treat your customers, we will not return. read more
