Dog-friendly indoor market with vendors that sell produces, baked goods, plants, wellness products, and more. There are also a few places that sell food. There is always a long line waiting for Mexican food. Parking gets full on the weekend. You may have to park in the garage and walk over.

Admiring the plants from a plant vendor at the market.

The Waterfront Market at Point Ruston is a nice change of pace for the Tacoma area. There isn't much for specialty items for food or gifts that have a personalized touch and your next best option is just going to the mall for gift shopping. There is a variety of different food vendors here with food trucks, a coffee shop, a meat shop, gourmet peanuts and nuts and more! There are permanent vendors here throughout the week and more pop up during the weekend. I don't come here too terribly often but I did notice on their website some weekend vendors listed were not there on the last weekend I went there. So I am not sure if the weekend vendors vary from weekend to weekend or if the website is outdated in regards to vendors that no longer participate at this location. Well, despite that it's still fun to pop in here once in a while as it's refreshing pace change with shopping for the area. Summers are especially fun to come here but it's very enjoyable anytime of the year.

There are different stall and they offer an array of vendors that sells clothes, candles, arts & crafts, bags, food, cookies, pastries, flowers and so much more. It seems to be different every time we go there. It's a must see and experience. The ambience is very welcoming and the vendors are nice.

Cora's Seafood! Right out front of the market!

it's OK. Basically, it's like a mini version of pike place market in Seattle. And it would be worth going to at least once.

This is a (possibly Mexican themed) restaurant that serves tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and etc…read more Decently priced for what you get in return! (Cost): $8.27 + tip (Location): It's in a fantastic area inside a fairly busy shopping and food center in Ruston. There are beautiful views of the water not too far from here and a lot of places for you to sit at and eat. The actual building that this place is in was very crowded though, so I would take my food and go. There is a parking garage, along with a parking lot in front of the building that wasn't full at 11am, but it did fill up by 1 pm. The only con is that people weren't cleaning up after their pets, so watch where you step! (Service): Great, the cashier and the employee who handed me my meal were friendly enough. (Food): Street Tacos Combo (5/5)-- came with beans, rice, three tacos with your choice of meat, and a drink of your choice. Absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked barbacoa! This felt like it could feed two to three people, so of course I made it my mission to eat the whole thing in one goal. That's the only downside-- the meat is very oily and heavy, so if you're sensitive you should definitely not eat the entire thing in one sitting. Other than that it was one of the best tacos that I have had in Washington.

I would definitely order that . The prices are good .

I grabbed the gluten free cinnamon banana muffin and I could not stop myself from eating it all in one sitting with my Americano. The texture and taste reminds me of Vietnamese banana bread that my mom used to make. That nostalgia is priceless. I am totally coming back and trying more next time I'm in this area. I parked in the neighborhood. Please come and create your own adventure.

But we got a bunch of treats to share and most of them were high quality and super tasty! My favorite was definitely the coconut cake, it was incredibly soft and airy and had a great amount of coconut flakes which made me happy since I love coconut! 5/5 We also had a banana cinnamon swirl muffin and lemon blueberry scone which were both super good! The muffin was very cinnamon heavy but wonderful, and thankfully wasn't overly sweet. The only thing missing was peanut butter on top. The lemon icing on that scone really made it! It was maybe EVER SO SLIGHTLY dry but barely noticeable. Both of those 4/5 The raspberry coffee cake was decent but wasn't mind blowing or anything and I'd skip it next time. Maybe 2.5/5 Not pictured was the coconut fiji bar which I honestly really enjoyed, seemed like it had a base of a cookie almost then a layer of chocolate then a top layer of a soft, sugary gel like paste with lots of coconut flakes mixed in! The top paste was pretty sweet but that cookie like layer and the chocolate layers weren't too sweet. I liked it! 5/5 The chocolate chip cookie was my least favorite, I just wasn't a fan of the taste and texture. After chewing and swallowing my bite it felt like a very fine sand like aftertaste in my mouth. And just wasn't flavorful. 1/5 But overall it's absolutely worth stopping at! I really wanted to try the cinnamon rolls and thankfully the cashier told us they ONLY SELL THEM FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS and are usually sold out before 11am!! Mom and I will definitely be back and try to snag one of those, and maybe the s'mores bar because it looks amazing. But yea still tons of delicious treats here even if a couple were misses!

Built on the edge of a steep hill overlooking Elliott Bay and Puget Sound, Pike Public Market is known as the "soul of the city." Here locals have shopped since 1907 for fresh produce from hundreds of farmers, artisans, and specialty vendors, and it is proud to promote the fact that almost half of its businesses are female-owned. Since our hotel was within walking distance, my partner, his family, our friends, and I visited this most popular tourist attraction with more than 20 million annual visitors several times. It can get a bit overwhelming, especially with the large crowds and the maze of shops. It is definitely worth a look.

Seafood vendors galore all who are selling some of the freshest and largest pieces of seafood I've seen, floral vendors galore all who are selling the most beautifully full and beautifully arranged flower bouquets and food galore from vendors of all kind offering ethnic delights, local seafood and local favorites. The views of the market itself from the street and the views of the water from inside the market are breathtaking as well. Oh and we stumbled upon the "gum wall" ... even though I took a pic of it it's absolutely GROSS lol. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's wildly confusing to navigate and the maps don't help at all lol. So glad we got to experience the market!
