I have not been here for a number of years. Did not like the noise level at night, and I told them so. I went to lunch there with a group of 5 fellows yesterday. The service was very attentive and friendly. From what I could see, everyone enjoyed what they had. The menu looked good with a lot of bistro options. I had the a House salad and a Thai chicken pizza. Both very good. The food comes quickly. The portions are good. One in our group had the steak bites appetizer. We all shared a piece. Mine was half very hard gristle. I think if steak bites are being offered, then serve a nice piece of steak. Still, it was a 4-star experience. Might put them on my rotation again. read more

We came in for lunch and the food was delicious. For bevs we ordered strawberry lemonade (5/5). We ordered the tempura asparagus as an appetizer (5/5). The cilantro chile-lime sauce was flavorful. We ordered the a cheese pizza (4/5), grilled chicken sandwich- the chicken was a little dry (4/5), margarita pizza (5/5), spicy chipotle chicken pasta (5/5). If I could give this 2.5-3 stars, that would feel more accurate. This review is mainly about the quinoa kale salad. The menu made it sound really good, but honestly, I could have made a much better version at home for around $4 instead of $22. The salad is loaded with crispy fried onions, which completely overpower everything else. I was especially looking forward to the protein since the salad is advertised as high in protein, but it only had a few pieces of cold blackened chicken, barely any quinoa, maybe one bacon bit, very minimal walnuts, and the apple shreds were bland and forgettable. I was expecting a flavor bomb and instead got mostly kale and fried onions. I would definitely not order this again. If I wasn't with a group of people, I probably would've tried to get a refund for the salad. That said, the steak appetizer was actually very good (also $20). The steak was cooked really well, and I appreciated being able to get a side of barbecue sauce. However, it was also served on a bed of crispy onions, which again felt unnecessary. Overall, the ambiance is lovely and the service staff is very nice, but the food itself is mostly mediocre, with the exception of the steak, which was solid. read more

A solid 3.5. Food was great. We had extremely large portions and well seasoned. Had plenty to take home. If it was just food this place would have been easily a 4.5. Service was inconsistent. No host at the door to greet us. Server was quick to get our order in and our drinks. Then disappeared after. 2 out of 4 of the appetizer plates were dirty. One even had a piece of food on it. We asked for new plates. We waited a very long time to get the check and boxes. Probably stopped eating 20 to 30 minutes before we easily were checked on. I had dinner here on my birthday in November and it was absolutely fantastic. I made a reservation, but my husband and I chose the bar top instead. The ambiance is classy yet not too stuffy or upscale. It definitely has that "I want to go out and be in style" vibe. We ordered the dinner for 2 for $120. My goodness, do you get a lot of food! You get one appetizer to share, 2 salads, 2 petite filets with shrimp, mashed potatoes, veggies, and a dessert. Everything was so good! The tempura asparagus were amazing and I don't even like asparagus! The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. The cheesecake really hit the spot. Unfortunately, when you order for pick up they do not include everything you have ordered. 1 thing is understandable but when multiple items are missing and the bags are all sealed up it's beyond frustrating. Ordered last night. Bread was missing and our whole dessert was missing. So I guess if you order and pick it up you've got to be a weirdo and open everything and check it before you leave. I don't understand why checking togo orders isn't a priority. Especially for the price. I should be able to trust that I'm getting what I ordered. read more

I have been to Fugazzis several times and it is always good, they use to just bring it the bread and balsamic dip before meal and know I guess you have to ask for it, but other than that the food was just as good as always. One of our favorite places to go. Me and my husband shared a wedge salad and steak bites. So delicious. I got the pasta carbonara and he got a Hawaiian pizza. Not pictured. This restaurant has lost its appeal. We were a party of 14, all but four people who were at the table agreed their food was not......very good. I ordered the seafood pasta that was served in a pool of lemon juice water, horrible to say the least. I returned the dish and substituted for the beef stroganoff. This dish was just as bad as the first, served in a pool of milky beef broth, the slices of beef were tough as leather which I removed horrible flavor, it required a spoon to attempt to eat the soggy noodle dish. I have gotten their petite filet three times before and I have been so impressed by the cook and flavor every time. However, the food got cold pretty quickly as I was eating it and the vegetables that come on the side of the entrees were lacking flavor. Their drinks are well made, fresh, and decently strong. This was our first time coming here. When we first walked in the host was extremely rude. He asked if we made reservations and my husband said that he didn't know we could make them. He had called the restaurant prior, and they said they didn't take them. The host told us that he "must have called the wrong restaurant" and told us to step aside and wait. When the host brought us to our table, I noticed there was water on my seat so I asked if they could wipe it before I sat down. The host frustrated switched with a different chair and used his hand to wick the water onto the floor. After we were seated it took quite some time for the waitress to come and take our order after waters were given. We order the dinner for two which included an appetizer, entree, and dessert. All of which was phenomenal! We were extremely happy with our food. I was just disappointed in the service. The cherry on top was before we got our dessert, the waitress brought us our check. Bacon wrapped scallops -- tasty, but not the best I've ever had. Presentation was beautiful though! Scallops were a touch on the dry side, and bacon could have been crispier. Pastas -- my favorite of the bunch I tried was the spicy chicken because it had a nice kick to balance out the creaminess. Alfredo was superrrr creamy but quite heavy and a touch too salty. Penne had a nice bite but bordered on undercooked. Crème brûlée cheesecake -- very rich, but couldn't taste much of the crème brûlée. There's a full bar with draft beers as well. Went here for the first time the other weekend and was very happy with the experience. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. It feels nice, without feeling so high end you feel underdressed if you are wearing jeans. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. We started with Moscow Mules (mine was the French Kiss, which I loved!) and the sweet potato waffle fries. I would definitely order those again! Crispy and sweet, with a yummy sauce to go with. You also get complimentary bread that was soft and warm with an oil that went with it well. We got pasta for our mains (I got the carbonara) which were both solid choices. Mine was creamy and seasoned well, although I was surprised it was a bit spicy, since I've never had spicy carbonara. I would def go back though to try some other dishes! It was disgusting, being Italian myself I can tell you this food is a fraud. So nasty I will never be going again. If i could give this a -zero stars i would..... I grew up in visalia but have not been back in town for a min was linking up with my family and friends apparently there was a lil car show on main street that had just ended as soon as we got downtown so we were going to get a bite !! UNFORTUNATELY LITERALLY this was the only place open so i was like "oh wait we can eat here " I was super excited since it had been a couple years since i was there . I was greeted by a familiar face who also seated us only to find out he is the owner GABE! we sat in ordered the steak appetizer and a dirty martini to start ! I had a young server girl with black hair. by the time the appetizer arrived i was already starving at this point the waitress is going around taking food orders as i take a bite of the food i immediately start gagging and choking i put my hand in my mouth only to pull out a long piece of hair the waitress was literally across the table just watching me continue to gag on this hair and continue to pull it out my mouth literally the hair that wouldn't end !!! there were 6 of us at the table been grossed out ! The waitress watched like it was not the first time she had seen some Sh*+t like this before. Not once was she apologetic or sympathetic !! i was in such shock i said nothing i just was dumbfounded . My drink then arrived we at this point had ordered and received only two drinks and one coke and a cofeee ! No initiation of calling her manager or saying sorry still at this point ( mind you she watched it all go down ) after looking closer at the meat i was even more grossed out it looked boiled and as if it had been refrigerated recooked over and over ! We decided to leave . I was so grossed out and disappointed but decided to at least drink my drink i had been craving with a blue cheese stuffed olive ! While attempting to drink it the waitress began to drop of checks (now with an attitude ) as she tried to charge me for my drink and the appetizer i laughed and kindly asked for the manager while saying " i shouldn't be paying for anything after what just happened she said she forgot to take the appetizer off but she would go get the manager. Literally no one at that table should have had to pay for a $3 soda or coffee and a shitty drink . I was still in shock and tried to drink my drink only to bite into a rotten olive that i immediately spit out ! i was so beyond pissed now ! still i remain calm i let my friends and family exit first so that i may be desecrate ! there was a good amount of people in the restaurant upon exit i asked to speak to the manager i asked two different people before asking a third girl i practically followed them to the back by the third time after waiting eight minutes only to find them standing around like dumb and dumber and I finally asked where is the manager like is he not gonna come out or what I learned that the manager/owner had left though the back door cowardly and disgusting !!! SO SICK AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AS I LEFT I TRIED TO TELL PEOPLE NOT TO EAT THERE I JUST HOPE THEY LISTENED !!
