I can't say as though I've had a bad meal here. Maybe some I wouldn't order again, but never a bad one. The tater tots are a nice twist in addition to traditional fries. Most people swear by the Rib-Eye sandwich but I actually prefer the French Dip. My go to is the BLT though, they nail it. Service is usually pretty quick and I only ever really come here with large parties (8 or more) which their patio can accommodate easily on a week day with no reservation if you need a last minute spot for an office lunch. We found out they had a buffet brunch on Sunday, so we took our family to eat. They had a prime rib carving station which I would give their prime rib a 10. Cooked perfect. Awesome variety of breakfast foods as well. Biscuits and gravy tasted like my grandma made them from scratch. For the amount off people, they were serving the service was excellent. My friend across from me got the fried shrimp with french fries. I tasted a french fry. They tasted like they were fried twice, but not in a good way. The woman to my left got the French dip with french fries. The French dip is a joke. It's mostly bread with thin slices of what may or may not be beef. I got the Cobb salad. How do you mess up a Cobb salad? The hard boiled egg was overcooked. The blue cheese had no flavor. What was supposed to be bacon was some stringy stuff that I couldn't tell what it was. Every time I come here, the service is great, the food is amazing, and the drinks are strong lol The pricing is fair for being a golf course restaurant. Simple as that. Went to the nine iron bar and Grill on a road trip to LA the yelp reviews looks pretty good so we thought we'd try it. Who ordered two ribeye steaks and a patty melt with hatch chilies. The patty melt with the hatch chilies was subpar bordering on bland. but the ribeye steaks were really good I got it with a side of eggs and hash brown. The food overall was mediocre but fair for The price. What really stood out to me about this place was the service the waitress was friendly and kind with a great attitude. This restaurant is at a golf course and I highly recommend their food,albeit their service required a bit of work. No one was wearing masks which was fine by me and evidently everyone else in there. The tables were distanced and there was a note on the door stating if you were uncomfortable with maskless servers that then you shouldn't patronize them. Upfront, and giving you choices I like that. Their chicken fried steak and especially their sausage gravy was amazing. Their biscuits and gravy were also good. We also had their fire baked combination Pizza which was a homemade crust and absolutely wonderful. We were very surprised to find this gym out in the middle of nowhere. Worst service EVER!! Came here to celebrate my son's birthday. Upon arrival we were "greeted" by two very nasty ladies. We were lucky to even be seated and have our order taken. Food was very good. But will never return. The waitresses just stood around taking the whole time. Had to walk up to ask for napkins. Then salsa. Then a soda. Then a refill. I have never had worse service anywhere. In rural parts of California, a decent nice place to eat that doesn't involve greasy food or any form of ethic food that's not Mexican is difficult to come by. The big surprise was at this restaurant was actually at the golf course. As I looked around, it was the typical group of agricultural people that is native to the Central valley. A majority of them have a lot of dust on their boots And we're there to grab a quick bite to eat before heading back to work. I had chosen a side salad with the club sandwich with a choice of different sides. I chose was the tater tots. Which was quite tasty. The only situation that I didn't really think too highly of.... was when the salad was brought along with the main entree. The remodeled golf course restaurant is nicely done and the bar is beautiful. That being said I have been there several times with groups and they seem to really struggle with service. The staff is kind but service takes forever, they are frequently out of things, and the food is only OK. Not worth the wait in my humble opinion. The first time it took over a hour just to get a burger and it took other's longer to get their food. The last time I was there in a large group I ordered a mixed drink and that took over 30 minutes and it was not really busy.
