I work right up the road from this place so I figured because I was craving sushi and this place had such good ratings, I'd swing by for some take-out sushi rolls. Yeah, that didn't work out well. I ordered 2 rolls - California and Spicy K Roll - to-go at 11:45 (before the lunch rush). I noticed about 10 minutes after I ordered that others who ordered after me were getting their food and I was still waiting. After 25 minutes I approached the counter to ask about my order. The cashier said it's coming. I asked for a manager and he simply stated, "you had a deep fried roll and its coming." Now I don't eat sushi everyday but I've had it probably over 500 times in my life and it's never taken almost 30 minutes for ONE deep fried roll to be made. He turns around as I'm standing there and goes back to preparing food. A solid 35 minutes of my lunch break waiting on the smallest sushi rolls I've ever ordered ($18.98 - tip $2 before I experienced the wait time) I was able to walk out WITHOUT the spicy mayo I also paid for and chop sticks to eat it with. Also the "deep fried" batter was mushy and barely covered half the roll. With there being so many sushi places around (Publix rolls are cheaper, quicker, and taste better) and the terrible hospitality I experienced, I'll never give this place another try. Tip - Treat your customers with respect and if there is an issue or you over look an order maybe throw in a fortune cookie or maybe an, 'I'm sorry about your wait." When they first opened this was the place to be. Recently went back and the food has gone downhill in quality and the staff just the same. And also the only place that actually listens to me when I ask for it extra spicy-most Chinese places don't make it any differently and it's always dark meat. They are a little stingy with sauces-I have to specifically ask for a certain number or I get one. First things first, the UberEATS driver was fast and very friendly, the food I ordered was hot and fresh! I got the chicken teriyaki bento it came with 4 Cali rolls which btw were sooo good! I've never had any kind of sushi or rolls ever so I figured I'd try it with my meal and I loved it! Wish I'd had ordered more I'm definitely trying more if their sushi when I find myself in the Smyrna area again! The chicken and rice was nice and hot, it was so good! Good tasty cheap eats and a nice casual place. When you go by it looks closed because it's so dark. Make sure you look inside the front glass door to see if the lights are on. Only 2 things kept me from giving them 5 stars. If you want a little extra teriyaki sauce they charge you 50 cents for a very small container of it ( the same plastic containers you get in taquerias for your sauce for chips). The other thing is check to make sure they charge you the correct amount. All their printed menus say the daily special chicken teriyaki is $5.85 but when they ring it up it's the regular price of $6.29. They did this to me 3 times now. It's not much, but more the principle. All in all I will still go there as the food was tasty and fair portioned for the price. read more

Wonderful news that this place opened up in the area! Their food was delicious! We ordered the Angel Roll and Tuna Avocado Roll to-go and were not disappointed at all! They currently have a 10% discount since they are still new (however, if you check in through Yelp, you can use the 15% discount off instead). Our favorite out of the two rolls is definitely the Angel Roll. The girl working the register was new, so guys...be a little patient :) Overall, the they were nice and helpful. So, I had been seeing this place during my grocery trips to the nearby publix. Last Saturday, I decided to stop in and give it a try. The food was just ok and the veggies lacked any seasoning. Like, none. As I went for another bite, I felt hair in my mouth. I pulled it out and was instantly disgusted. I ended up throwing my food out and wanted a whole new mouth. I love the sushi here! Lately I've been on a bit of a sushi kick. I was getting them at Publix because it's cheap and convenient, but then I discovered Fugu right next door. It's close to my apartment so it remains rather convenient, and it's much tastier while staying at a similar price range. I like getting a variety so I usually get the 2 roll sushi combo. I like it because it's a good bit of food, I get to have two different flavors going on, and it's still a reasonable price. I often get the eel avocado rolls and the salmon avocado rolls which are both great. I also recently tried the bagel rolls which were tasty too. The service is usually good as well, and they tend to be timely in getting orders up as long as they're not too busy. Would definitely recommend! read more

I will never go to this place again. Customer service is less then terrible. Not only do they nickel and dime you over sauces when your spending $40+ but I just recently got a take out order from them , steak hibachi, shrimp hibachi, chicken fingers, 2 orders of egg rolls and an order of spring rolls. I got home and realize they had forgotten my spring rolls so I called them to let them know. The main guy got on the phone and told me he was 100% sure he packed it. Even though I'm at home emptying out the bag and they aren't there he insists that he 100% gave them to me. They forgot my Miso soup :( I wanted to like this place but the sushi was extremely bland. I used a lot of soy sauce which I rarely use.
