We had a party of 2 for dinner on 12/20/25 at 7:30 pm. We were seated right away! Service was quick! We split everything. Here's what we got: Grand Slam ($16.95), Sea Breeze ($18.95), Hippie Roll ($18.95), and a special roll. Everything tasted fine, but the rolls that had tempura flakes in them were overloaded tempura flakes. The first few chews felt like I was chewing sand. Once I got past that though, it tasted good!

Pad Thai. Has chicken and shrimp. It was delicious

Place and food was great. Cozy indoors. I'd recommend. Server was very nice and attentive.

We went there today and had a terrible experience. It started out fine with a nice welcome at the door and pleasant server. The problem was the food. My mom took one bite of her food and I could immediately tell it was not good. She said it tasted like someone dumped a whole container of salt in her dish. Then I tasted mine and another salt bomb exploded in my dish. Our server came back and we told her we couldn't eat it because it was so overly salty. She said they'd remake it... so we waited... and waited! Around 30 minutes later she finally returned with 2 new plates of food. We took a bite and it was still overly salty but not as bad as before... I took another bite and there was a huge long HAIR in my food!!!! I was so grossed out! We were seated near the front where the manager was standing, so I motioned for him to come over and showed him my plate with the hair tangled in the chicken!!! He apologized ...and took the plates away...but we were so disgusted by the whole experience. We left and found another restaurant to eat at.

Fantastic Four Roll, our favorite secret roll not on the menu! (salmon, tuna, crab, avocado, fried cream cheese, eel sauce, massago)

The best Sushi & Thai restaurant in the Atlanta area! Such a great date night spot located in the heart of Marietta Square. Order the Chicken coconut soup, Imagine sushi roll, Fantastic four sushi roll, pad key mao noodles, spicy fried rice, and chicken pad Thai! The food is delicious and the service is amazing.

Good meal and good service. Went there for lunch. The service was incredibly fast. I went with the Masaman Curry. It was very good, it was sweet but not too sweet balanced with the intentional heat. When I say intentional it was perfect and not hot just to be hot. The miso soup was just what I expected. My lunch partner enjoyed the coconut soup and prik king. Nice place and good experience

My husband enjoyed the sushi. I loved the chicken pad Thai. Next time I'll ask to have it made spicier. But it was delicious. The staff was very nice!

Lunch on Friday was pretty average. Service was great, until they got busy. After we finished our meal, we sat for 20+ mins waiting for a server to come so we could order dessert. Another 20 or so until we got the bill. Fire Roll was great! Dynamite & Spicy Yellowtail weren't as great. They had an odd flavor. Dynamite roll just didn't work well, all together. Fried ice cream, can't go wrong with it!

Great service, delicious food. Pad Kee Mao and spicy basil chicken are favs. If you can't do hot, ask for mild. Extensive sushi selection.

    Can't remember this one either

We waited about 30 minutes on a Sunday evening for dinner but it was well worth it. My brother and I ordered sushi and we were well pleased with it. My aunt enjoyed her Thai pork dish immensely. Sushi wise we ordered the Marietta Roll, the bulldog roll, rainbow roll and two others I can't remember the name of but the sushi was prettily presented and it was very good. I don't live here but my brother said this was going to be his go to sushi restaurant as he is local. Our waitperson was very attentive, responsive and pleasant. It was a little loud inside but that's to be expected for a packed establishment.

I had dinner with a friend at Thaicoon on a Wednesday night at 7:30. We were seated right away, but it was fairly busy until we left around 9:30. This was my first time eating at the restaurant, not just taking out food. It's really nice inside, and the service was really good. My friend and I ordered several dishes and shared them all. We started with the Thai appetizer Golden Bag (seasoned shrimp, chicken, vermicelli wrapped with crispy spring roll skin - $10.95). It was good. We shared the Thaicoon Fried Rice (combination of shrimp, chicken, cashew nut, pineapple, carrot, sweet peas, onion, tomato, egg - $18.95). It was interesting, but I probably wouldn't order it again because the pineapple in it wasn't my favorite. it was actually served in a pineapple! We also shared these two sushi rolls, which were very tasty: - Hippie Roll: shrimp tempura, kampyo, scallion, cucumber, masago topped with avocado and spicy tuna ($14.95) - Caterpillar Roll: white tuna tempura, cucumber, masago scallion, and spicy sauce topped with shrimp and avocado ($14.95)

They have a mayo-y ginger dressing similar to yum yum sauce. I prefer vinegar based but it was good! The nigiri had a little flair which I love! And everything was so fresh and soft pieces of fish. Very good quality for this price point! Sashimi had some nice cuts & generous pieces & plate presentation was Instagram ready The bento came with California roll, yakitori stick, tons of veggies, fried rice (+$1 but worth), huge portion of meat of choice, and shumai (or gyoza). This is big enough for 2 small eaters or one big eater. Everything was delicious and we were checked on often Their high chairs are clean & staff were pleasant with the toddler They have specials listed at the front door in tiny font I couldn't read from far away & they also sell jewelry it seems I didn't get a pic of the entire menu because it was multiple books and I didn't realize it We'd definitely come back! Though the place was packed, the four of us were able to get a booth immediately. Do the AYCE! I don't each that much, but the value is way better. I was with three other guys, and it's really beneficial for the group. We tried so many things off the appetizer, sushi, to sashimi sections. The seaweed salad was fresh, we ordered x3 of these in total. The cheesesteak eggs were phenomenal. It sounds weird but was recommended by our friend. The chicken katsu was okay, not anyone's favorite. The shrimp and crab meat tempura were so so. The spicey kani salad was pretty tasty. I'd name some of the sushi but it's seriously hard at this moment in time. I don't think we were served any bad sushi pieces. All the various types that we tried were pleasant or surprisingly good for someone at the table. I rarely get wow'ed by a restaurant, but Atami Grill and Sushi definitely did it. There is a revolving belt where you can pick sushi; each plate is $3.50. The nigiri comes in pairs, and the sushi rolls come in sets of 3 or 4. I love that they are small portions so that you can try a variety of the rolls. There is also a menu on the iPad at your table that you can use to order. If you order from the iPad, it comes on the top revolving belt in these cute little, smiling, spaceship-like containers that stop and open at your seat. If you ever need help, you can click on the service button on the iPad. We ordered edamma as our starter and it came iin the smiley train. I had some unfilted sake and water with lemon. The first sushi plate I grabbed was salmon nigiri, and it was very tasty and fresh. My nephew grabbed a salmon nigiri and a California roll. He probably ate three salmon nigiri and three orders of California roll. I also grabbed a salmon, avocado, and cream cheese roll, a spicy yellowtail, and ordered a spicy kanji as they stopped revolving. It's fun while my brother got the tiger and super roll, along with a few other things, for dessert w got chocolate and strawberry mochi. It was lots of fun and good. I will definitely be back.

We ordered our food and...,.first off the waiter put in our order wrong, we did not receive three of the things we ordered. One half of the table were clearly regulars, a family of 5. They asked for a specific chef. The chef comes and sees them and tells them welcome back, then proceeds to start doing excessive customizations to their orders. Which is fine, but then he shorts the other half of the table. The family of five were all given triple rice while the other half of the table were given one serving of rice even though two of us ordered double. The family of 5 were treated like kings. The rest of us, what food we did get was overcooked, under seasoned, and barely portioned, except for veggies which we got more of because the family of 5 didn't want them. However it just.....felt very unfortunate to pay so much money only to leave with barely any food and without having received all we paid for, I won't be coming back again. Customer retention is important but it's nice to extend that attitude to new customers as well. I did call and speak to the manager to see if we were overcharged. He said no and I was going to let it go. Originally I wasn't going to write a review, but after we found the receipt and seeing we WERE charged for food we did not receive? Sure, the food was still good, but there was a male server who was obnoxiously loud and trying to impress one of the female servers, at one pointing standing at our table and shouting "God D--n It" for some unknown reason. The female server suggested he apologize, but he kind of shrugged it off. If we didn't already have our food, I would've walked out. He didn't check on us very much during our visit and it wasn't busy, so not sure what his deal was. My wife really liked their food and as our area doesn't offer much variety other than Mexican, we went back a third time. It was busy but not quite packed just yet. She took our order, but gave it to another server to enter into their system, so my wife's order was wrong. I decided to try the ramen and it was subpar. Definitely not worth $16.99. Instead of a soft boiled egg like those served with real Japanese style ramen, they fried an egg over hard and tossed it on top. It continued to cook in the hot broth while my wife's replacement order took about 20 minutes to land at the table. The food was bad and the server blamed it on another employee. To boot, this restaurant is surrounded by neighborhoods with young parents, so there's a ton of kids in there. Between disappointing food, bad service, and noisy brats with tuned-out parents, we won't be back.
