We had a party of 2 for dinner on 12/20/25 at 7:30 pm. We were seated right away! Service was quick! We split everything. Here's what we got: Grand Slam ($16.95), Sea Breeze ($18.95), Hippie Roll ($18.95), and a special roll. Everything tasted fine, but the rolls that had tempura flakes in them were overloaded tempura flakes. The first few chews felt like I was chewing sand. Once I got past that though, it tasted good!

Pad Thai. Has chicken and shrimp. It was delicious

Place and food was great. Cozy indoors. I'd recommend. Server was very nice and attentive.

We went there today and had a terrible experience. It started out fine with a nice welcome at the door and pleasant server. The problem was the food. My mom took one bite of her food and I could immediately tell it was not good. She said it tasted like someone dumped a whole container of salt in her dish. Then I tasted mine and another salt bomb exploded in my dish. Our server came back and we told her we couldn't eat it because it was so overly salty. She said they'd remake it... so we waited... and waited! Around 30 minutes later she finally returned with 2 new plates of food. We took a bite and it was still overly salty but not as bad as before... I took another bite and there was a huge long HAIR in my food!!!! I was so grossed out! We were seated near the front where the manager was standing, so I motioned for him to come over and showed him my plate with the hair tangled in the chicken!!! He apologized ...and took the plates away...but we were so disgusted by the whole experience. We left and found another restaurant to eat at.

Fantastic Four Roll, our favorite secret roll not on the menu! (salmon, tuna, crab, avocado, fried cream cheese, eel sauce, massago)

The best Sushi & Thai restaurant in the Atlanta area! Such a great date night spot located in the heart of Marietta Square. Order the Chicken coconut soup, Imagine sushi roll, Fantastic four sushi roll, pad key mao noodles, spicy fried rice, and chicken pad Thai! The food is delicious and the service is amazing.

Good meal and good service. Went there for lunch. The service was incredibly fast. I went with the Masaman Curry. It was very good, it was sweet but not too sweet balanced with the intentional heat. When I say intentional it was perfect and not hot just to be hot. The miso soup was just what I expected. My lunch partner enjoyed the coconut soup and prik king. Nice place and good experience

My husband enjoyed the sushi. I loved the chicken pad Thai. Next time I'll ask to have it made spicier. But it was delicious. The staff was very nice!

Lunch on Friday was pretty average. Service was great, until they got busy. After we finished our meal, we sat for 20+ mins waiting for a server to come so we could order dessert. Another 20 or so until we got the bill. Fire Roll was great! Dynamite & Spicy Yellowtail weren't as great. They had an odd flavor. Dynamite roll just didn't work well, all together. Fried ice cream, can't go wrong with it!

Great service, delicious food. Pad Kee Mao and spicy basil chicken are favs. If you can't do hot, ask for mild. Extensive sushi selection.

    Can't remember this one either

We waited about 30 minutes on a Sunday evening for dinner but it was well worth it. My brother and I ordered sushi and we were well pleased with it. My aunt enjoyed her Thai pork dish immensely. Sushi wise we ordered the Marietta Roll, the bulldog roll, rainbow roll and two others I can't remember the name of but the sushi was prettily presented and it was very good. I don't live here but my brother said this was going to be his go to sushi restaurant as he is local. Our waitperson was very attentive, responsive and pleasant. It was a little loud inside but that's to be expected for a packed establishment.

I had dinner with a friend at Thaicoon on a Wednesday night at 7:30. We were seated right away, but it was fairly busy until we left around 9:30. This was my first time eating at the restaurant, not just taking out food. It's really nice inside, and the service was really good. My friend and I ordered several dishes and shared them all. We started with the Thai appetizer Golden Bag (seasoned shrimp, chicken, vermicelli wrapped with crispy spring roll skin - $10.95). It was good. We shared the Thaicoon Fried Rice (combination of shrimp, chicken, cashew nut, pineapple, carrot, sweet peas, onion, tomato, egg - $18.95). It was interesting, but I probably wouldn't order it again because the pineapple in it wasn't my favorite. it was actually served in a pineapple! We also shared these two sushi rolls, which were very tasty: - Hippie Roll: shrimp tempura, kampyo, scallion, cucumber, masago topped with avocado and spicy tuna ($14.95) - Caterpillar Roll: white tuna tempura, cucumber, masago scallion, and spicy sauce topped with shrimp and avocado ($14.95)

I really don't know what happened here …read more.. Against our better judgement, a friend and I chose this place as a back-up option since our first choice was closing for lunch orders. Admittedly, I was skeptical when I saw the limited menu and some of the options (I LOVE Thai food and have had variations in many parts of the world). BUT I was encouraged to know there were at least two vegan entree options on the menu. No. Never again. Not at all. The spring rolls were the most minuscule versions I've ever had. The casing was weird, to say the least, and the flavor was barely there. We ordered a broccoli entree to share. Check out the photos for yourself. WHERE IS THE BROCCOLI?!? My friend's meal was BLAND. My meal was better but the peppers were almost raw. The BEST thing we had was the roti. ROTI. At a Thai restaurant. The absolute best thing on the menu was roti?! No meatless curry options with ample veggies. Not one rice dish, served with veggies. Lots of chicken ‍. Lots of fish oil ‍. Roti was the best thing we ate. And don't even bother with the purple rice. Absolutely disappointed. The server was kind although our 2nd order of roti went to the wrong table - they gladly accepted it with no questions asked - because she was conducting what looked like an interview in between checking on our table. If you've read my reviews you know anything less than 4-5 stars is RARE. I honestly don't understand what happened during my experience at this restaurant but definitely will not be returning.

What you may expect at a Thai restaurant falls short here. No Panang Curry! They refuse to add any protein to the Pad Thai and could not leave out the dried shrimp because it is pre-made! Pad See Ew only available with pork and no mention of Chinese broccoli. One friend had a green curry dish and it is not served with rice! You have to order and pay separate for that. Hoping we find a more accommodating Thai place in the area with a better menu selection!

5/5 stars I was in town for a whole week on a work trip and…read morehonestly, I had already tried about two other Thai restaurants earlier in the week that were just... okay. You know the type -- pretty basic, nothing above average, real safe and generic. That's usually why I end up sticking to my regular Thai spot when I'm out of town, but I figured I'd give Tubtim Siam a try before my trip wrapped up. I actually saw the place a couple days earlier but they close kinda early, so I missed it the first time. Luckily I was able to catch them right in time this night, and let me tell you -- they did not disappoint at all. It sits in one of those strip mall locations that looks a little sketchy from the outside, but once you're in, it feels safe enough. The actual restaurant is real modest -- nothing too fancy, just a chill vibe with a couple families and other people sitting in eating and enjoying their meals while we placed our order. I went with takeout: chicken fried rice and some chicken wings to take back to the room. Baby, when that fried rice came out... the portion was huge, like they weren't playing around at all. And the flavor? Whew -- it was immaculate. Not only the best Thai fried rice in this city, but easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned, loaded with all the right stuff, and it actually tasted like real homemade Thai food. The chicken wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with good flavor too. For the price, both items gave way more than what I was expecting. Everything was on point. This spot really came through and saved my whole week of eating out. No cap -- I'm giving them a solid 5 stars. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely making my way back to Tubtim Siam again.
