But there is a fun playground set up by the calves which meant we got first dibs on the hay slide! The calves knew visitors meant feeding time and were licking us, just waiting for that wonderful milk bottle to be given to them. Our guide was amazing, taking time to answer every one of our questions thoroughly. She showed us the stalls where the dairy cows feed, relax and stay cool, the water washout that cleans the stalls, the milking stations, and even let us practice our milking skills on a model cow. She explained that the cows are milked every 12 hours so our tour not only fell outside of their normal schedule, but they wouldn't be comfortable having strangers milk them. Which is why we practiced on a model, still very cool. Totally understandable, we want the cows to continue producing their delicious milk for all to enjoy! We learned that raw milk, not pasteurized, is actually better since the vitamins and nature's goodness haven't been heated out. After tasting the raw milk, it tastes SO delicious. They aren't selling commercially anymore and can only sell straight from their farm, so if you happen to want fresh milk, ice cream or other locally made farm foods, visit their store on site! Be sure to bring cash or Venmo. My family enjoyed today's tour and recommend everyone support our local dairy farmers at Circle N Dairy :)

Absolutely loved the beautiful location and the tour was so informative. Hats off to Michelle who gives tours while running the farm! It was an amazing experience for my son to get to feed a calf and the milk sample was delicious. Wished we could've bought some dairy products and I am jealous of the locals that get to buy them whenever they want. The store is always open and is on a trust system. We did walk away with a gigantic pumpkin though! Highly recommend if you live in the area or looking for a fun road trip!

But I'd recommend for those who like to purchase organic meats and dairy - there was a vendor there with a long line of costumers looking to buy eggs and more. I believe they were the busiest vendor out of all and second the coffee vendors. We will return for sure another weekend!

I recommend parking in the lot across the street as opposed to street parking. The sheer amount of vendors is overwhelming and I really love to support local, but I almost feel guilty because there are more vendors than my wallet can afford to support! There is something for everyone though! I love the farmers market aspect of it, lots of fruits, veggies and homemade items. You'll also find honey, sauces, candies and of course there are food trucks and stands. We had some amazing agua fresca on our last visit! There are also about a dozen booths for those of you with a green thumb! Tons of plants and flowers to purchase and some sell seeds, I believe. This is a pet friendly market with a shaded table and water bowls for you to bring your furry friends. Some pets are friendlier than others, but I've never seen anything to be worried about. I wouldn't bring any pets that aren't calm around other animals though. There are several booths with natural, organic and gluten free goodies for your pets. We got a few this last time from two booths and our dogs inhaled them. Lots of fun specialty flavors to be found, and I learned that chewing on chicken feet are apparently great for a dogs teeth. Who knew? There's also a lot for the shopaholic and those who like interesting pieces for your home decor. I saw a few booths that do jewelry, clothing, bags and quilts. I want to take a closer look at the blacksmithing, knife making, pottery and wood work. I was excited to even have those as options! Prices will vary based on the vendor and products, but with so much to explore you're guaranteed a good time! Generally the market hours are every Saturday, April through November from 9am until 1pm.
