Although, it's quite farther for us, Dr. Lu and his team are so worth the care they provide for my 15 year old, 13 year old and 9 year old. Dr. Lu makes my kids feel super comfortable. I like how he talks to my kids about what he's doing before he does it. He's very efficient in how he moves and talks to them and explains to them what he's going to do. He is super kind, gets straight to the point, and is considerate of time. In addition, he ensures we, as parents, get all our questions answered and takes the time to listen to what we have to say. His team from the front office to back office are exceptional, friendly and provide the utmost service we could ever ask for. I highly recommend Dr. Lu and his practice. Even though my kids are minors, they respect him highly enough to want to come back because they are comfortable from getting care from him. This will be our forever dentist until my kids become adults for sure!

Later, it became apparent that there were significant internal communication and administrative problems contributing to the delays. As a parent trying to coordinate care for a child, the lack of organization created unnecessary stress and wasted a substantial amount of my time. After finally getting the procedure scheduled, I paid the required deposit. When my child received the necessary services elsewhere, I canceled the procedure approximately two months before the scheduled surgery date. Despite providing significant advance notice and the procedure never taking place, the office refused to refund the deposit. It's been an additional two months since requesting for a deposit back and nothing has been returned.

The staff wasn't just knowledgeable they were professional, caring and kind. They took they time to fully evaluate my little guy even though he was trying to elope and scream through their building. They were totally understanding that this was just out of his little wheel house of remotely ok and they strove to figure out how best to sooth and connect with a child who will do everything in his power when hurt to not do that. They also knew when to lay off and let him be. It was all really impressive. When I became over whelmed and started to cry the doctor made me feel human and that she saw I was a mother doing the best I could while my son was rolling on the ground in the parking lot refusing to come in. When we did bring him in it was sooo fast maybe 15 minutes he was back there till when we were told to come back. He was already waking up and trying to sit up. He was immediately much calmer and seemed like he was no where in the same ball park for pain. All meds were sent promptly and correctly to the right pharmacy of asking and the reception staff helped me fight my insurance and when a mix up happened on our end with receiving drop off time for procedure they still after hours found a way to help us know when to come in at opening to see if they could get him in and they did. Zero additude, no gruff and just understanding why and what happens to make us miss the call. THEY ARE AMAZING, honestly just couldn't sing higher praises, they really went above and beyond and this will be the only play we go to now for dental surgery and sedation, who also might I add are just amazing their team that Handel's sedation are just fantastic and are so carefully with the littles.

The front staff are kind and soft. The hygienists we had (Sandy and Emily) were just incredible. Sandy (could have been Sandra- I'm terrible with names!) knows how to speak a kids language- she was chatting it up with my daughter about her Kevin minion toy, commented on the shoes she dressed him with and how cute they were, let her keep her stuffed animals with her in the chair, let her earn a ton of stickers during the xray, and both were so positive and gentle. The Dr. welcomed us as soon as he came in, was very communicative with me, answered all of my questions and I did not feel rushed. I also liked how he didn't have a dismissive and know-it-all attitude in answering my questions but just left me feeling informed and confident that he is highly knowledgeable. My child received praise at every turn from every staff member and it made for such a positive experience. At the end the kiddos get to play the Claw Machine and don't worry, everyone wins a stuffed animal! The care always felt impersonal and the wait is always long, but we never changed providers because it was convenient and they get the job done. Today was the last straw. They schedule appointments right when they open at 8am. Door physically open a few minutes before 8, you get called to one of the chairs but no one is actually available to start the cleaning until 8:10. Okay that's fine. This is when it doesn't become fine. They scheduled a family with 5 kids at the same dang time. Please tell me why that family with 5 kids who all got the same cleaning and X-ray that my one child did, left after 45 minutes, while my only child was there for an hour and 15 minutes. Why would you schedule so many children from the same family on one time slot? Our appt was also at 8. My child didn't get her cleaning started until 8:30. X-ray didn't happen until 8:55 and because I know that the dentist doesn't come out until all the freaking chairs in that room are filled and ready for him to check, I asked the rad tech to get the dentist (she didn't). It took another 10 minutes for the dentist to come out and I believe it's only because the young man who was working the floor could tell we were annoyed at this point and tried to get the dentist twice. A 30 minute visit took an hour and 15 minutes. They found a way to maximize profit but failed to consider that patients' times are also valuable. I would have given this 1 star, but staff had always been polite to our faces and I appreciated that the young man (I think he's new because I've never seen him before) who took us to the back informed us of what they're going to do and sensitive to the fact that my small family was waiting for a long dang time. Job efficiency is the goal for this location, not personal care. If you like your providers who value your time and actually get to know your child a little bit, this isn't the dental office for you. We won't be going back.

At my first appointment on September 22, 2025, the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth in about 30 minutes and told me to come back later in the week to finish. Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. The experience left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and I would strongly warn others to stay away or double-check everything before paying.

This a complete scam and patients should not be responsible for the billings departments inaccuracy when verifying coverage. Then they go tell you it's patience responsibility when in reality it should be their responsibility as well to make sure the patience is paying the accurate amount when it comes to service.
