This review is limited since I had it picked up. I can't speak to the cleanliness of the restaurant facilities or the customer service. Our Asian food in Anderson is quite limited and this was decent enough to get again. First of all, the portions are great. This place definitely won't leave you hungry. My favorite part of the meal were the sautéed veggies. They tasted healthy and fresh. I also thought their shrimp sauce was delicious. Wow. This place is a hidden gem in Anderson. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is outstanding. We chose to pick up our food in the drive thru to take it home. We ordered teriyaki chicken and teriyaki steak. The meat is high quality, moist, and delicious. The vegetables are cooked but not limp or flavorless. Surprisingly, the white sauce is some of the best I have had in our area. Definitely stop here and try the food! Dinner for two was less than $20. read more

This place looks very sketchy from the outside, but it is extremely deceiving! The inside is clean and well decorated which provides a comfortable dining experience. The staff was very friendly and they did their best to observe safety precautions and check on all of our needs. As for the food, they started us off with a clear mushroom soup that had a distinct ginger flavor that I enjoyed. For my entree I got the chicken and scallops which came with sweet carrots, veggies, and fried rice. The food was all very good, especially with the yum yum sauce. At first glance this looks like just another strip mall, quick-serve Japanese take out place, and so it is...but the food is awesome, ample portions, garden fresh steamed/sauteed veggies, quality meat, and the prices are right. Wait service is very quick and you usually get your food in under 5 minutes. I have never seen this place busy. They also have a drive-thru and take out. Menu is your basic Japanese steakhouse/takeout fair. I had a steak teriyaki dish with juicy strips of steak, mushrooms, and a host of other veggies, which became my go to favorite. They also serve a free soup appetizer...I believe its miso but I'm not sure. It's mainly broth with chives but it is very good. Service is top notch and always friendly, and I've never left here hungry. They have specials all the time, but expect to pay between $7-$15 for most food here, with the lower range being for the single menu items, and combos running in the higher range. The staff all speak fluent English, which is a big plus with me since language barriers can be very frustrating. read more

We were treated so badly today. From the time we went into this restaurant we were treated horrible. The waiter didn't say hello or anything. When we asked for plates stuff he didn't even say anything just pointed and just walked off. Only thing he wasn't treating other people like that. When we ordered he was like what y'all want but asked other people nicely if they were ready to order. He skipped us and filled other cups then finally came to us still mean. So when we asked him if he was alright he was like yeah. Then said y'all asking for stuff you can get yourself. It was our first time there and we had no idea, we were supposed to get our own stuff. But it doesn't speak for how we were treated walking in the door. So when we told him we had never been there before he just walked off and went outside and smoked a cigarette. Came back in never washed his hand or anything. And was still rude when checking us out. We had just came from a community event in the parking lot where people of all walks of life came together in support of a young man who is very sick, and to be treat the way we were was so disheartened. Being a disabled veteran it hurt me as we do so much to help people and to see how mean people like this guy can be just broke my heart in two. Everyone has a bad day, but why only treat certain people that way is beyond me. We were not loud or anything and we were very calm. I couldn't even eat my food. Very traumatic experience as I fight everyday with post traumatic stress disorder. Please beware when you go to this place. read more
