WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I wish I could give it a lower rating. We got there at almost 2 o'clock and waited about 15 minutes for just our drinks, then another hour just for food. DOV: Thurs., March 29 @ 11:45am I am not big into "Express" restaurants so this was the first time I had tried this one. I am happy to report that I survived the experience. When we arrived, there was only one other party in the place. The server brought our drinks and took our order and was back with it in just a few minutes (express) on a styrofoam plate. We got Hibachi Chicken ($7.50, pretty good, chicken a little dry), Hibachi Steak ($7.95, pretty good, cooked a bit long for my taste), Unsweet Tea ($1.50, decent, good price) The server was very good - friendly and attentive. The floor under my feet was wet. Very wet. When I told her about it, the server apologized and said that someone had spilled a mop bucket earlier and must not have gotten it up in that spot. Great. Dirty mop water. Overall, I found this place to be average - not too good, not too bad. They have meals ranging from $6.50 to $13.95, so I wouldn't call it a cheap lunch, especially since you can eat right down the street at the Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet all-you-can-eat for about $6. My husband and I went in to eat tonight, we ordered right away, however we never received our drinks, and as time passed on we started noticing others who arrived after we came in had received their food and drinks and several came in and ordered and received their food in minutes. Finally, another waitress noticed us and asked our server had he helped us. He looks around the corner at us clearly confused. He had took our order and totally forgot us all together! He comes back to the table to take our order again, ‍ We were over it by then! How do you just forget a table of people? Like he NEVER came back until it was asked of him! He wasn't that busy at all, the other waitress was busy but she handled all her tables and walk ins. The last couple of times we've been here it's always something, but never this bad. read more

My favorite Japanese restaurant in town! It's never usually too busy which I love during lunch time because I can get in and out! Servers are always attentive for a small scale restaurant and it's clean. I feel like the portion sizes are great for the price of the meal. Food is always good & hot. It can sometimes be a hassle to turn left out of the parking lot but nothing that can be changed! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner! read more

This is our first time at Mishima Japanese. We ordered the steak and chicken combination plates. My chicken tasted like fish. My husband said his was hard and dry. The steak was overcooked and grisly. The "sweet carrots" are canned carrots and watery, not sauteed. The mushrooms were scarce. The shrimp sauce was more than enough, but tasted more like thousand island dressing! The rice is fried rice with peas and scrambled eggs, which is not something we were used to seeing at other Japanese restaurants. We ate our meal, except for the carrots... 1 hour later our stomachs hurt... We would not recommend this place to others, we will not order there again. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Management has recently changed hands and the food has improved. They've started running weekly specials on their food that are super convenient and cheap. Customer service quality has skyrocketed and staff do everything they can within their power to fix any problems you have. Management is prompt, honest, and polite, and the owners are constantly in the store and checking in with customers. I would absolutely recommend this to my friends and family for a quick and cheap hibachi place. I recommend the filet mignon and scallops. read more
