Holy smokes. We came two days in a row because it was so good, taking a 30 minute trip from our Airbnb to get our fix. We did the dancing sushi burrito, and it was our favorite, but the firecracker burrito was also delicious! The service was friendly, and the even remembered us from yesterday's visit. Ambiance is spot on, lighting is beautiful. Even though we did take out, it was very inviting and cozy inside. Wish they opened a place in Vero Beach, Florida because this place will probably be the thing I miss the most about this cute little town! Fabulous Ramen and sushi Restaurant! Our Server, Taylor, was attentive and professional and made sure we had everything we needed. The servers worked as a team for efficiency purposes and were super positive! We started with a Fried Pork Dumplings with a special tangy orange sauce. delish! My son had the Ramen Pork Bowl with egg, soy and noodles. Ginormous! 4/5 spice level but incredible. Too spicy for me but I liked it a lot. We shared a Boba Milk Tea with tapioca balls. This blew my mind, soooo good and refreshing! 5/5 stars. I had the Fried Shrimp Poke Bowl with corn, red onion, peas, sushi rice, seaweed, avocado and crab salad. I liked everything but the seaweed and just pushed that to the side. The shrimp was tempura fried to perfection and the bowl is HUGE! So you get your fill! 5/5 stars. The atmosphere is precious with One Piece figurines on a shelf with Anime posters everywhere! Very festive and fun! Chef watches you through the window to make sure you like everything too! Went to zen ramen and sushi burrito this past weekend and an empty restaurant should have been a flag. I ordered Firecracker sushi fried burrito and it was supposed to have spicy crab and tuna inside the roll. Something seemed off ( the roll seemed really dry) when the food was delivered and I tasted it. There was fried chicken in the roll. After I left the restaurant, it hit me that there was no tuna in the roll. They had replaced chicken for the tuna but didn't bother to tell me that they didn't have the ingredients for what I ordered. Also, didn't discount my meal for using a lesser ingredient that didn't belong. It all just feels sneaky and a little honesty would go a long way. Our server-- I believe her name was Madison-- was great! Very sweet and fun, attentive and helped us choose things. We started with the edamame -- and chose to add the garlic spicy sauce to it-- delish!! We then ordered the spicy shrimp ramen to share. It comes with popcorn shrimp on the side that you add in yourself. Ramen was great! Very flavorful and a big bowl. We also ordered the salmon crunch sushi burrito. It was okay. I didn't love the way they do their rice for it. I'm used to sushi burritos having more of a sticky rice to help hold it together. This didn't hold as well and seemed to have fried panko on the outside... not sure. It wasn't bad, but wasn't my fav. The flavors were pretty good though. And it's large and filling. We also ordered some hot house sake to share. It's the only affordable one on the menu, since they don't sell any by the shot. We'll be back! It's a bit of a wait if you try to come during dinner. We ended up leaving but came back a little early the next day. So glad I did. I'm not a huge fan of over-cooked ramen but this one was outrageously good. It tasted very homemade and the broth was delicious. I got the Tonkotsu Shrimp Spicy combo with Chicken Karaage. First time to Clemson, and first time trying ZR&SB. Tried the spicy shrimp tonkatsu ramen which I really liked, and would order again in the future. Staff was kind and helpful. Surprised when the waitress said she didn't recommend ramen because it's too hot outside... I mean, this is a ramen restaurant... . Major pet peeve of mine is when I order a soda and they bring me a soda in a can. If you are a respectable restaurant, you at least need fountain drinks. They seem to still be operating at half capacity but at around 7 on a Friday night we still only had about a 10 minute wait. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She recommended our appetizer, the Zen chimichanga. It's very good, but it is sort of heavy since it's friend and includes sour cream. Also if you're going to order a sushi burrito rather than ramen like I did, I'd probably select a different app since they have similar ingredients and flavors. We also started with a cold Asian pear sake since they were out of my usual favorite, the Fuji apple. It was ok, not great. The scent of pear was stronger than the flavor. I had the firecracker sushi burrito which includes spicy tuna, crab, avocado and cream cheese. It was very good and fresh tasting. It's a cool, casual place with a large menu. I'd definitely like to go back and try some more apps as well as the ramen. read more

Wow. Definitely surpassed my expectations. Being from the NYC area, I've eaten a lot of Ramen, and I can honestly say the ramen here is in the Top 5. My boyfriend and I tried this place on a cold day. He got the O.M.G. Sushi burrito and I got the Tonkatsu Ramen. Both were delicious but the ramen by far surpassed my expectations. The broth was delicious, the chicken was tender and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The decor here is very cozy and cute. Posters line the walls (anime and video game enthusiasts will appreciate them) and Kpop plays on a flat screen TV near the back. First visit and it was excellent. Small quaint restaurant in the heart of Clemson, SC. It's a small place so expect to wait for some awesome Asian fusion. We were greeted immediately and welcomed. We were seated very quickly. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more hospitable. We ordered the OMG sushi burrito and it was really tasty. I love the concept of a sushi roll wrapped in a seaweed wrap ..... fun way to eat sushi. Ask for the wasabi sauce. They bring you a bottle and you can just squeeze this homemade spicy sauce directly into your burrito. Tasty! We also had two different Ramen bowls. The kimchi Ramen was rich in taste and the broth was delicious. The pork in the bowl was very good and the kimchi was excellent. We loved the blend of flavors. We also ordered the seafood spicy miso Ramen. The broth had a nice rich miso taste with lots of spice. The shrimp and scallops were a bit on the small side and the broth overshadowed any individual taste characteristics of the shrimp and scallops. As we left all three of the staff members working in the front of the house thanked us for dining with them. We really felt welcomed. We will be returning to Clemson to enjoy this wonderful restaurant again. read more
