As of late I've been on a quest to find Japanese cuisine in the greater Indy area. Fuji Ramen is a really cute spot with fun decor. The food is all reasonably priced. Staff is quite friendly and welcoming. Service is excellent. I ordered the veggie stir fry and added chicken. The portion of the chicken was at least three times what I was expecting and very affordable! We also tried the chicken Yakitori which I enjoyed even more. Unfortunately they were out of shishito peppers and shiitake mushrooms. My husband had the Tonkotsu Ramen and loved it. He has spent time living in Japan so I trust his taste buds on this one. This is a perfect budget friendly date night restaurant in Avon worth checking out!

1st time coming here. The staff was very nice and come to find out Yummy Bowl down the street owns this place. Since I like Yummy Bowl I knew the food was going to be good and fresh. I order a Noodle dish which they recommend. There is a chili sauce at the end of the table that gives the dish alot of flavor. Others order the soup which is huge. If you don't like spice, ask for it to be mild or no spice. I like this place and will be back.

So I've had Fuji Ramen twice - once as takeout and once dining in. Both experiences were wholly fantastic. To begin, ordering ramen to go, I was so surprised at how they packaged up all of the dry ingredients outside the broth for you to mix on your own. It kept everything just the way I wanted. Dining in, the restaurant was super busy and the staff were seemingly overwhelmed but also very cheery. We were apologized to multiple times for waiting when the wait was nothing crazy. This time I went with the karage bowl and the amount of food I got was crazy. Half of it was filling already. The inside is also so cool with the booths and tables being completely enveloped in Japanese art and flair. This place rocks. It's a must visit.

First time at Fuji Ramen and it was a hit! Really cute interior with booths or tables. We ordered green tea and spring rolls first. The were three large spring rolls in the order. They were very good. I ordered ramen with tempura shrimp. The broth was so rich and fragrant. Full of veggies with pickled radish, seaweed and egg. Such a beautiful dish! My daughter had pan fried udon noodle with chicken. It was a full plate of yummy! Over all a very solid lunch. The menu has alot to choose from. This is my new fav ramen place when visiting Indiana.

Staff gets 5 stars. Ambiance gets 4 stars. Food gets 3. I've nevr had bad Ramen anywhere. It ranges from good to awesome. This place was just good. I ordered the Chicken curry ramen. I didnt really taste any curry spices in the broth...pretty much just chicken broth. And the chicken was like one of those frozen patties that comes out of an Ore-Ida bag. Still - it was ok. People were super nice and the room is decked out really cool. There are better Ramen joints around, though.

My buddy and I stopped here for lunch based on the high ratings. Wow was I happy we did. The place was empty as we came at a weird lunch time so we had our choice where to sit. The main dining room is really very well decorated and cute. The booths have little roofs and lanterns. And flags across them, it's really nice and clean. When we were picking drinks, although I am not a lemonade guy, the server presented it in such a way that both of us got the lemonade. It was smooth and not too bitter. We were surprised that it had cucumber in it but that really mellowed it out and made it amazing. For my meal I got the tonkatsu with pork belly and black garlic oil. The broth was so good I would have still enjoyed it with nothing else in it. This restaurant is a strong recommendation, it definitely deserves it's five stars. Go and eat there.

fuji mystery - 9.5/10: its no mystery this was delicious :) my personal fave out of the three we got. spicy and hearty broth and the noodles were cooked just right! chewy and yum! shio - 8.5/10 shoyu - 9/10 karaage - 6/10: good crunch but a little salty skewers - 10/10: juicy and flavorful thai tea - 8/10 ramen galore!! i WILL be back :) so flavorful and everything you need to keep warm this winter. the ambience was great and the service was pretty good. the decor is so nice~~ almost makes you feel like you're not in indiana which i loved shared lot with the wingstop and laundromat next door. its usually fairly easy to find parking.

The best food we had our week in Indy. Super reasonable prices, massive portions. Our group was quickly sat and there was ample seating Ramen could've been slightly hotter, and the chicken was fried despite the menu seemingly showing a non fried option for Fuji wings. Waitress was very nice, and we were in and food came out within 15 min.

As soon as you walk in, you're immersed in Japanese Culture from the ceiling decor and the vibey music to the lovely service and the delicious food. Fuji Ramen has made a great first impression that will have me going back for seconds.

New restaurant in this location and wow what a transformation. The interior is beautiful... think delicate woodwork, large family style wood tables, cozy booths, cherry blossoms, lucky cat flags and colorful paper umbrellas. Nicely done. The menu has a lot to offer with a multitude of ramen, including vegetarian broth and also a curry broth. You can also get stir fried noodles or donburi bowls. Loads of appetizers are also available as well as assorted skewers. and of course there is dessert. I opted for hot green tea, which unfortunately comes in a tea bag, but was quite tasty. I also ordered 2 skewers. One asparagus wrapped in bacon and the other chicken with scallions. Both were very tasty, especially the bacon wrapped asparagus... yumm for my main I chose the Shrimp Tempura ramen. Thankfully the shrimp are serves on the side so they remain nice and crunchy. The ramen bowl was very full with loads of noodles, the typical toppings and a delicious pork broth. I was unable to finish it all even so I tried. It was so very good. One of my guests had the chicken rice bowl and this dish was overflowing with large chunk of crispy chicken and more. A very generous serving. Another guest had the green tea mochi ice cream and enjoyed it very much. The service here is so sweet and accommodating also. The only flaw here is that getting back out of the parking lot, especially if you need to take a left turn out can be quite difficult, as Rockville Road is usually quite busy. But I have to say, the food is so worth it.

First of all, this is the cutest little spot. They are located right on the strip in Broad Ripple, which is one of my favorite walkable neighborhoods. Every item on the menu sounds good, but I opted for the Birria Ramen and the Birria Empanadas. The young woman working at the register was very kind and helpful. She answered any questions that we had and did the same for the ladies that entered the shop shortly after we'd placed our order. We sat at one of the tables and prepared for what was to come. The ramen ($16) is definitely shareable. I got, roughly, 2.5 servings out of mine. The broth/consommé was a bit fatty/oily, but in the best way possible. It was flavorFUL and the birria was tender and abundant. The fresh onions and cilantro were the perfect final touch. I usually have to add salt and pepper to dishes when I eat out, but everything here was just right. A squeeze of lime did me just fine! The empanadas were also a bit oily. Obviously, they are deep fried, but once you have the addition of the generally oily birria, then you have leakage-level oil. I said all of that to say that they were still delicious and I still ate 2 out of 3 of them. My husband had the third! I can't wait until I'm in the area again to try out more of their delicious menu items.
