A few years ago Yelp did an event with the food truck Birrieria had and the food was amazing. They have now opened and store front in Broad Ripple. Last I read they were having some issues with getting enough business. Today we only had a snack of Esqueties and Chips and Queso. I was excited that they also have Jamaica ( Hibiscus Tea ) one of my favorite drink. Yelp People need to show them some love.

I had always heard great things about their food truck, so I was excited to hear they were opening a brick and mortar in Broad Ripple. Honestly, I was blown away. Since I'd heard so many good things about their food truck, my expectations were high. But luckily, the food was amazing. It's a small space, with bar top style seating and about 4 small tables. We were immediately greeted when we walked in by a woman, who guided us through the menu and was very helpful with answering questions. It was relatively busy when we were there, and it took about 15 minutes for our food to come out. What we tried: - Birria eggrolls (quesabirrias in an eggroll) - quesabirrias - chicken nachos (Chicken had so much flavor I was not expecting) - churros (they are not stuffed, but still so good)

I'm familiar with this restaurant because of their famous orange food truck located on the westside. I've been wanting to visit their new building since they opened. The building is small and there is limited seating, but it wasn't too busy when I visited. I went with the quesabirria tacos and they were served fresh. Crispy and cheesy goodness! The meat was also seasoned well. I like that they add a pepper and cucumbers along with the limes. Also, don't forget to order the churros when you visit!

I've been wanting to try the birria egg rolls since I saw them for what feels like years ago! I'm so excited they have a storefront on broad ripple now. The location is a little small and we were there on a busy night, but you can still dine in. You basically can order birria of anything (ramen, egg rolls, grilled cheese, pizza, and more). I got the birria egg rolls and I like them more than traditional queso birria tacos because of the crunch. They dip perfectly in the consome too. While not hyped up, their salsas were fantastic! The menu is huge with nachos, tacos, and everything coming with chicken or meats other than birria and even hot dogs so really something for everyone here.

My husband and I have been DYING to try this taco spot since it opened! So after a concert, we made our way there on a late Friday night. The spot is brightly decorated and fun on the inside with a small sitting area. It was so hard to decide what to get because everything looked so good! We decided on the quesobirria and the birria eggrolls. Both were amazing! So cheesy and the consume was a hit! We would go back for both, but can't wait to try the other options such as the ramen, hotdogs, and pizza! I love this addition to Broad Ripple!

Love when I can visit a place on my Yelp list! We visited while in Broad Ripple for a reunion. When you walk in you can feel the cultural pride as the space is filled with the amazing murals and music all around. I will say, I've learned I'm not the biggest birria fan so take my review as you will. While the birria ramen was not my favorite, I did enjoy the birria grilled cheese, which came with amazing French fries! I have some friends that want to try this restaurant and if I come with them I plan to try the birria egg rolls. The prices are around 15$ a meal. We also had some street corn that I thought was really good and our meals came with tons of onions and cilantro and cucumbers which I loved.

This is my second time here! First review. It's so good! You literally can't go wrong with anything you choose. Parking is parking in Broad Ripple! I've gotten lucky both times with street parking. Service is nice and friendly. It takes a a few minutes for your food but not a long wait. There is small space available to eat inside. Last time I tried the birria tacos vampiros and this time I tried it with steak. Well I ordered steak and received birria. I didn't check my order before I left so I would recommend doing so. Nevertheless , it was good. We also tried the hot dogs (Jdog - wrapped in bacon popped with chorizo, chili, grilled onions avocado and chipotle) and the (fat boy birria dog -cheese, birria, cilantro and onions)

Well, this was an amazing lunch. My husband and I had a little mid day lunch date and were so glad we decided to try Birrieria Iturbidense. We tried the ramen, the egg rolls and the empanadas and they were all amazing. The egg rolls were the favorite and they warmed up well in the air fryer. Super chill inside, not a ton of seating but it didn't feel cramped. Prepare to get messy from the consume!

Hands down the best birria I've ever had and at their new location in Broad Ripple !! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this spot was special. The atmosphere is warm, fun, and inviting -- perfect for enjoying a great meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food came out hot and fresh. Now let's talk about the star of the show: the birria. Absolutely incredible! The flavor is rich, authentic, and perfectly seasoned -- every bite feels like comfort and celebration in one. The consommé was bursting with flavor, and the tacos were loaded with tender meat and that perfect crispy cheese pull. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and you can tell they care about quality. You leave full, satisfied, and already thinking about your next visit. If you love birria or just amazing Mexican food in general, do yourself a favor and check this place out. It's officially my new go-to spot!

Stopped by during lunch hour. I wanted to grab a birria taco and some corn. Unfortunately they don't sell birria tacos singly because they want you to buy them in 3's. I ended up getting the birria box that has 3 different birria items inside. They came hot and fresh and the beef inside was tender. They were good. The consomme needed a bit more flavor but.. everything was indeed fresh. The empanada in the box was just okay. The dough was way too thick. 3 barria was a bit much for me honestly. Just wanted to get one and some other stuff. A bit pricey.

Another great experience. I took my mom after we were left hungry from trying a different eatry. Me and my mom both forgot to take photos of the food but it was good bc we each finished our meals. The place is definitely a vibe. Glad they are there to stay.

The food is amazing. That Birrieria Egg roll is ! It's a lil cozy local spot well worth the attention. Plenty of options on the menu and love the wall art. Check it out and you won't be disappointed.

Incredible food and even better employees! When we walked up to place our order, the girl taking our order was full of smiles and SO sweet. It really set the tone for our experience and the food was soooo delicious! The shop has a small footprint, so be prepared to snag a table before you walk up and place your order. Other than that, the food came out in less than 5-10 minutes and was insane. Just so freaking good. Get the birria egg rolls. Thank me later!

I like a dim atmosphere, but it was hardly lit enough to read the menu. It was difficult to navigate as it was mostly in Spanish. Extremely limited vegetarian options which I'm not sure I can assume were actually without chicken base in the rice, etc. I didn't even see a vegetable fajita on the menu. My vegetarian burrito sans crema and cheese consisted of little more than rice and a couple small diced pieces of avocado and diced tomato. Iceberg lettuce? I saw corn niblets and a pea fall out. Bland. Hot sauce choices not fantastic. What kind of burrito contains no beans?? Everyone else at my table received flatware. I was given a plastic fork. Once I received an actual fork & knife, they kept tearing the paper underneath my burrito. Strangely served with raw cucumber (ick) & lime wedges on the side. Edible at best. The atmosphere looked interesting upon entry, but it felt grungy, the chairs were heavy. I was seated right next to a brick wall/chimney. Service was sparse. Definite language barrier. The dish my companions received was an array of meat in a molcajete. Mixed feedback on the peppers being ungodly too hot & some of it, especially the sausage, having a good flavor. It was massive & messy. It was interesting initially but definitely didn't look appetizing to me. That came with a bowl of beans in sauce with what we later discovered were Chicharrón on top. It looked like boiled mystery chicken skin. A friend from SoCal I consulted online had no idea what it was from my photo as we tried to discern it & they didn't realize it was even Mexican food from the appearance. It was assumed I was at an Asian joint. We had to ask for drink refills far into our meal. I was given a fresh new cup. The server took another person's cup from the table and refilled it in the back. That was strange and seemed unsanitary. We didn't get everything we asked for. I'd say language was the problem except for the fact the server had understood my requests when "crema" was the only Spanish word I used. Ladies' room had room for one person at a time. The sink was backing up. It felt dingy like the rest of the building. I'm glad they had paper towels and not just a hand blower. I didn't choose the restaurant. It was one of the worst if not THE most horrible Mexican meals & experiences I've had in my life. Hard pass. I'd gladly pay more for better fare elsewhere. I can make far superior at home.

The tacos (your choice of protein) were $1.49 each. I was honestly surprised that they had plenty of onions, cilantro, two different sauces & a baggie of radishes & limes for that price. I will say, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the shredded chicken although clearly seasoned (color wise) with sazon, it was dried completely out with only a hint of flavor. I added the green sauce on the chicken ones and it gave it a little umph but then I tasted the amazing seasoning in the rice and beans & WOW. I put a little of both on the chicken tacos and that was just what they needed. All in all the tacos were an 8/10 and the rice+beans were 10/10. The rice was cooked perfectly & the best compliment to the soupy beans. Parking: TERRIBLY positioned & shared lot, spots are tight & all the businesses stay with a crowd. Service: the cashier wasn't unpleasant BUT I had every intention on sitting down and eating inside (they have about 8 tables and 4 small booths) but she assumed I wanted it to-go without asking me as she asked the family of Spanish/hispanic/latino/a heritage before AND after me. In the moment I didn't feel slighted because I think I was just so tired & hangry but it definitely is memorable now that I'm writing the review a day later. I could have very well corrected her and said I wanted to dine in but I'm not one to force it when I feel unwanted or unwelcomed . This by no means discredits the food, it was wonderful & so was the price. I wouldn't go as far as to say I'll never be back because it would be a lie - what I WILL do moving forward is speak up for myself as it could have been done unintentionally.

Definitely needed salsa, but as I mentioned earlier, the salsas were not very good. Good. I had a roasted red salsa, salsa Verde, plus chili de arbol. None of them, had anything going for them. That was positive. It tasted like it was just the ingredients without seasoning. The salsa Verde tasted like just green tomatoes, and the same for the red.
