This place is great for quick sushi and their fried dumplings are great too. Boba isn't like Cali's but it's still a nice delicious fix. Their service for dine in is a tad awkward and their salad that I got was weird (They had a maraschino cherry in mine? Maybe they're confused or I'm missing something but it made me laugh a bit. The sushi is surprisingly fresh and delicious. They have fun, innovative rolls that make my mouth water and the prices are very reasonable. I am definitely a regular here! Sushi is really good. Service was decent, never asked if we wanted a refill on drinks though. Extensive menu choices but my boyfriend wanted a menu item they would only allow had we got take-out? Didnt really make any sense. The special mango roll with spicey tuna was expensive but yummy. You can substitute brown rice for white for maki or your side. read more

We went again. We wanted to like this place. This place is close by but the food is really less-half rate. My sushi was dry and had an off putting texture (even the wrapping was dry) and I regret having to write this but the fish smelled. We did not eat it and did not send it back But should have. Luckily we did not get sick - but it felt like I was taking a risk swallowing the fish. Being a good sport, I mixed it up and got some spare ribs thinking it might not be the right night for Sushi and what do you know the ribs too were sbpär. Now this is a take out place and I get that. So we are not looking for top-of the line fare here. But smelly sushi - come on! I will never be back! I say look else where. read more

This place is a solid choice for inexpensive takeout Chinese. The egg rolls are pretty good, which is a benchmark I usually use to judge a takeout place. Delivery was very fast. I live maybe a 6-7 minute drive away and my food was at my door in 25 minutes. Very impressive on that count. The dinner combo portions are generous, and the orange chicken I had was tasty, but a tad on the gooey sweet side. It is probably not worth the extra dollar to get shrimp fried rice instead of pork, as there were probably only 4-5 tiny shrimp in the rice. That said, the rice itself was cooked just right and tasted very good, and the pork dumplings were just the way I like them. This is not fine dining, but definitely the best inexpensive takeout I have had in Stamford so far. read more

I've always been a fan of this convenient downtown authentic Chinese very casual takeout place. Their lo mein dishes are heaven on earth. Everyone at work orders lunch specials from Fuji because it's walking distance from the office and our order is always ready SUPER fast. However prices have gone up a little bit (just under seven bucks per lunch special). The pad Thai was not pad Thai at all - chunks of old peppers and maybe cabbage?with no peanuts or scallions like pad Thai should be made. A huge disappointment. Ordered for dinner and love it! Got the spicy tuna roll, spicy shrimp roll and spicy kani salad. When they say spicy, they mean spicy! Rolls are delicious and taste fresh. They're also very stuffed. The kani salad is on top of lettuce, I'm used to just the crab and cucumber. Big portion! Only thing missing is a side of ginger dressing, so I'll ask for that next time. I've only eaten at the restaurant twice, and both times it was nice but nothing to write home about. However I get delivery from Fuji several times a month and I love it. They're one of my go-to comfort foods. The prices are super reasonable, and the food is tasteful and not over the top fancy, yet well prepared enough that it doesn't feel cheap. I love that you can order both Chinese and Japanese because I like being able to get sushi and miso soup but also fried rice and shrimp and broccoli. They have always been very careful to tailor my order to my specifications ( for example, I don't like sesame seeds on my sushi) and the delivery is always prompt. We're talking 25 mins on average. Every staff member I've interacted with is more than accommodating, and I can't fathom how any of these comments about "rude staff" could be true. Ordering online is a breeze and the food is always hot and mess free. I highly recommend this place and I know I've personally turned a bunch of people on to it as their favorite Chinese/Japanese place in Stamford. read more

I just moved into Stamford and wanted to try some Japanese cuisine. This place SUCKS! The key to make good sushi is to have the ingredients fresh! They can't even do that. The salmon roll I ordered is just not right. You can see from the color that the salmon is not fresh and it tastes even worse. I am SUPER disappointed about the food and hope to get a good bubble milk tea, which is later proved to be a disappointment as well. It's overpriced and definitely can't be compared to the milk tea at flushing. I think it's made from some milk power or tea bag. Anyway it's the worst milk tea ever tasted and I strongly suggest this is not the sushi place you wanna go. There are a bunch of good Japanese place outside. Avoid at all cost! read more

For the price, Fuji pleasantly surprised me. Better than your average chinese take-out places. Food is not greasy and comes with vegetables.

Thought I would try this place out since I was in a mood for Japanese food, what a disappointment. I ordered the bento box and boba. What do I find in both orders - hair in my boba and then hair in my bento box. Furthermore the dish I ordered was bland. The teriyaki sauce was more like a thick cornstarch consistency. I would recommend going somewhere else for Japanese food/Chinese food. read more

I have been a customer for 6+ years. The sushi and the combination platters are my favorite. I especially love the eel and California rolls. They always have good customer service when I pick up food and same goes for when I dine in. Delivery is mostly on time, and at times when they are late they are very accommodating, giving me a discount. Their prices are pretty decent if you are looking to enjoy a nice meal that isn't to expensive. Overall, I highly recommend this place! read more

The sushi here is the best in Stamford, better than all the places who use cheap fish and load up on spicy mayo or eel sauce. Came here while on a mini vacay and visited many restaurants. Asked the wait to just prepare a $100 platter for 4 of us and they didn't disappoint. Fish here is fresh and they use Scottish instead of atlantic salmon and fresh good quality Tuna. As much as I had hoped for this place to be a nice restaurant, it's really just typical Chinese take out style foods on a pretty plate. Kind of like a P.F Chang's. I haven't been to Fugis in years because of an incident that happened with my fiance. I chose to go today to prove to him it was a nice place. When i ordered i specifically said "no onions" in my food because i'm allergic. The waitress brought me pork fried rice WITH onions. I said fine, i'll just pick them out since i was starving.. When the bill came, we paid and the waitress came steaming back because i didn't tip her! The nerve! I explained why i didn't tip her and she calls me a liar!! Can you believe that?!
