The place is cute but the staff was an absolute mess. Small portions delivered at random times. The food was the absolute baseline of the sushi. Like day old gas station sushi. Bland, no flavor. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant as a FIRST TIME CUSTOMER at this particular location other location which I visited the server come and greet us as well ask if we were first timer here and most Fuji sushi location aren't all you can eat, which they explain before we sat down anyways, from the moment we walked in we weren't greeted, after we were sat no one explained how the menu worked to us and instead we had to figure it out on our own by going online and searching the reviews. We saw a picture of a small piece of paper marked off with numbers and that's how we figured out how to . Once we put our order down on a small piece of paper, with little boxes for you to write the numbers of the items off the menu, a staff member finally came up to take the paper and finally explain the way the menu works to us. I'm guessing since they have an all you can eat sushi special deal all day they don't want you to share the sushi, which is what we were trying to do. Every time my fiancé and I go out for sushi we order a couple of rolls that we both like to share. Each sushi usually comes with 8 to 12 pieces which is perfect for us to share and take a few pieces home. Which is why when we noticed the sushi on their menu only comes in 4 pieces we were really confused. Once the sushi came out everything was fine not great or amazing but our server never came to check on us again until we asked for our check. I wanted to do another round of sushi so I took another piece of paper, wrote down what I wanted and left it on the same spot of the table as last time and no one came to pick it up. While we were eating a family of 3 came in and got completely different treatment than we did. They had the same server as us and she was much nicer to them, smiling at them, letting them move to another table and talking to them way more. At that point we could only assume that they were regulars which after my experience today I could never understand how this place has regular customers returning. My biggest problem with this place is that they don't have a menu option for people who don't want to do all you can eat sushi. A regular menu with bigger portions than 4 pieces of sushi and each roll is priced individually. Don't get me wrong, all you can eat sushi for $22 is not bad at all but there really needs to be a separate menu option for people who don't want to do all you can eat and the menu needs to be explained much better. The food is great, that's not the problem. I usually like going here often but lately, meaning the last several times, I haven't had a good experience. Waitresses yelling at each other in Japanese is not entertaining, it's ugly. Service kind of sucks, asking for anything is disappointing, I order water with lemon, no lemon; you get one paper napkin, it's really difficult to get more; it's all you can eat sushi! It's messy. Your food comes, no wasabi, again it's difficult to get someone to bring you some wasabi. I'll go back but not as often as I want, maybe in a few weeks to see if anything changes. All you can eat sushi for a good price and served fast. Every diner gets a seat number on their placemat, which you write on your order slip. There are two prices, for the regular rolls and an upgraded roll price. All the common rolls are in the regular priced rolls; dynamite, rock 'n roll, Philadelphia, etc are all on the regular rolls menu. On to the taste! There's no skimping here on flavor. Portion sizes are good for solo plates, but ended up sharing a few of the appetizers anyway. Fried gyoza was good, but the wantons needed an extra layer of flavor, such as green onion. Salmon is either deliciously smoked or slightly sweet when raw. Cucumber salad was a little underwhelming with only cucumber and vinegar, but still tasty. Would have liked to see seaweed or something light to give this salad dimension. One in the party got the butterfly shrimp and said it was like having a shrimp donut, it was so soft and tasty. Anana's roll was a nice bright surprise of flavor. Pineapple is light, with a nice sweet mango sauce that cuts through the tart and the crunch of this dish. Jasmine milk tea latte was made well and had a nice pop of flavor without being overly sweet. Don't miss out on the dessert, which was a mini blue bell vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Strawberry is available under a different brand. There's a freezer for self serve of the ice cream across from the main counter. In an upscale neighborhood, but without the upscale price and pompadour. Good place for a group. Parking for this place is the only major downside. Expect to walk a bit for this area! read more

The portions are small, which is always good for buffets, but also they are very adamant about not wasting food and will charge you for leftover. The service was good! Keep in mind this is more of what they would call a taste of Japan menu. You pay a set price per visit and get to order as much of anything on the menu. The sushi items come out very well prepared even with the rush. The service is pretty fast; just make your selections on the table sheets for the employees to take to get made. However, there was a slight drawback as there was a brief unpleasant odor during our visit, which I couldn't pinpoint whether it was from another customer or from the back of the restaurant. If you order any number of items #1-50, then you get charged $23. If you order any number of menu items from 51-106, then you get charged $28. I ordered a soup, 1 shrimp dumpling (4pc), and 4 "rolls" (total of 12pc) for $63!!! What the f@&k. This place is way over priced even for an all you can eat place. Also, the portions for sushi rolls are 1/2 rolls, so no telling how long your roll has been sitting out. The rolls/pieces that came out were room temperature and had a strong fishy (bad fishy) taste. One of them had a sauce splashed over the top that tasted like pure salt. To say the service was poor would be an understatement. I asked to sit and the hostess just pointed at a QR code. After I was seated the server brought my drink, a glass of tea with no ice, and that was the last time I saw her. I will not be going back and I highly suggest you DO NOT go to here. Honestly, I should have trusted my gut when we walked in and it was visibly dirty and still had Christmas decorations up...it's February. Very yummy! This was my first time at Fuji sushi, and I love that it's all you can eat. This really allows you to try a variety of different things! When we walked in there was no hostess, just a sign up sheet you add your name to, which was different but didn't bother us. When seated, you're given a small sheet to fill our the numbers of what items you'd like to order. It is all you can eat, but if you over order you can be charged for the food you didn't eat.
