These poor people...God bless them. Ever so often my toddler (18 mos) and I stop here for an early dinner after I pick him up from daycare and when Daddy is working late. My son LOVES their potstickers, and will easily eat a whole order on his own while simultaneously destroying anything within his reach. When we leave, it looks like a bomb went off, but every time, everyone - from the waitstaff to the chefs - have been so sweet and nice, quickly bringing our order and getting us anything we may need. Great place for lunch. I live on a budget and this place is in a high income neighborhood so my first experience I was expecting some expensive sushi. Their lunch special is a killer deal. It's like 11 or 12.99 for a soup or salad plus 2 half rolls. I love it I always get really full and I'm never worried about the tab. Great sushi! The pot stickers were amazing!! Las Vegas roll was delicious, my husband kept trying to steal it. We did the lunch roll combos. 6 rolls with salad plus gyoza appetizer was around $35. Not bad at all, especially for the quality. Great customer service. I'm pretty sure she refilled my water after every sip. I had to update my review after my second visit. We waited an hour and a half for food and the place wasn't even packed. Food was still amazingly delicious! read more

This restaurant is great!!!!!!! We order from them at least once a month for delivery. I have been in location at least 4 times. Their original opening was a disaster. I don't think they prepared for such a turn out and order frenzy. From what i have experienced since, they have learned from their mistakes. My orders are always on time and taste delicious!! We have had sushi delivered before, but this is our first time dining in. Our waitress Tam was awesome! Very up beat & knowledgeable of the menu. The manager at the bar was also on top of her game. We love the sushi when it's delivered and love it even more since eating there. The food is fresh and the prices are extremely fair. The hot sake is delicious as well. Due to the size of the restaurant I would say, people with small children should be aware there isn't much wiggle room, but still worth. Only small small downside was the volume of the music was a little loud and only coming from one area of the restaurant so at times it was distracting. I was so excited to give this place a try and picked up a couple rolls for lunch, oh my god food poisoning in a box. The pepper tuna gave off the most fowl odor when I opened the box and it is a color that I have never seen tuna, disgusting! I called to ask for a refund and he told me the pepper tuna is just fine but he would be happy to give me a new roll, um no why would I waste my time driving back there if that is your idea of good fish, glad I just wasted $13 on sushi I can't eat! read more

Our kids (who normally are firmly committed to fries and nuggets) were fighting over who got the last of the hibachi shrimp and steak as well as the fried rice. Love this place. So we have been looking for a sushi joint for a while especially coming from So Cal. Not knowing what to expect we decided to check this place out. I will admit that I was pretty surprised. The place was having a little bit of a service rush and we thought this might be a bit interesting. Keeping an open mind to the fact that they were new we felt committed to try. The server got our drink orders and they came pretty fast. Then we placed our meal orders. The meals came to us within reason. Now for the food quality. Fantastic! The Steak and Salmon was very good, the Chicken Katsu was juicy, and the sushi rolls were reasonably priced and tasted great. We also ordered fried rice which tasted like hibachi style fried rice (score). They have a pretty good assortment of menu items so you won't be disappointed. This is a true sushi restaurant. Not those places that fuse other Asian foods together (like orange chicken... Sorry). Needless to say we will be back and it's in walking distance from where we live. Give the place a shot. I'm giving Fuji sushi 5 stars because the food is awesome and and the service is spectacular. The sushi selection is diverse with its own twist on certain items. For example normally when I get a veggie roll it's the basics inside- carrots, cucumber or avocado. This place switches it up a bit which is fun. I ordered the green peace roll with a miso soup and found myself impressed with the combination of ingredients that tasted kind of like eating a sweet potato French fry! I loved trying something new and found it absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the maki plate I think and it comes with 3 different veggie rolls that are fantastic and that combo comes with a side order of your choice or salad or soup. It was bad for 10-11 dollars. The thing that really sets this place up for success is the service though. My waitress Tam was extremely kind and you could tell she was a genuine hardworking person.
