Arrived about 7 pm on a Thursday. Great customer service the moment we walked in - welcoming, casual vibes. Food came out fast and fresh. Only one other table was there. We ordered salmon, white tuna sashimi, the Tiger Roll, Mega Pork Ramen, Spicy Black Garlic Ramen, and the Moonstone Plum sake. I eat a lot of sushi and my only minor complaint is that the salmon sashimi tasted like it had been sitting out for a little bit so it wasn't very cold and the texture was a little off. The server and chef were kind enough to replace it without and questions. Other than, all the food was good and I would definitely return especially for Katy area as it's hard to find a decent sushi spot. read more

Incredible food at a really affordable price. I try to eat lean sushi (no cream cheese or fried/tempura). The Houston and Tiger rolls are beyond good. Been a long time since I had a legit seaweed salad. Authentic. Not the syrup, sweet drenching you get at most places now. Definitely worth a trip out of your way. read more

Wow, this is a really good sushi bar! My wife and I came here to try the new Japanese restaurant and boy did we enjoy the food and service. The floor is laid out with a mix of booths, tables and a bar. Everything is new and comfortable. We both ordered a Chirashi style sashimi plate and a salad to share. The food was more than excellent and the portions pretty generous. I also ordered a liche tea, which was tasty if not a little sweet. I'm afraid this place is to good and I'm going to be spending more of my earnings here! read more

We just got it to go, but ordering online e was super easy! Order was correct! Prices are decent. Staff was nice and pick up was easy! There is not a lot of seating inside (few tables/booths and a bar), but it felt clean and somewhere I would consider sitting down to eat. Now to the food: we ordered the usuals: spicy tuna roll, and the rock & roll (needed more cucumber, didn't even notice it), and the shaggy dog roll (avocado was mushed more like guacamole than slices of avocado, and my son prefers when they put the fried onion crunch topping on the shaggy dog). What was unique to us was the calamari crunch. Which is fried calamari and snow crab salad inside. And we did like that one. Husband got the Hawaii roll - really liked it, but said he couldn't taste the mango. And then he got the Houston roll - his favorite of The ones we ordered. we were already looking at the menu for next time. So we will definitely be ordering from there again. read more

Tried some of the ube taro drink; good flavor but a bit too sweet. Ordered the chicken karrage & Black Dragon roll (shrimp tempura + eel) as appetizers. Chicken karrage was good; more breading but it was crispy. It could be more savory or include sauce on the side? The sushi roll tasted just right after a little dip in the soy sauce. Black garlic ramen broth was super delicious & savory! Chashu was really good. The noodles were possibly overcooked since they were a bit soggy/ soft. Picked out the ginger and put it to the side. Initially wanted to make it mildly spicy but the ramen itself was good; chilli oil not necessary unless you want to add it. Got to try the spicy curry ramen. Pretty much tastes how it sounds. Very friendly customer service. It wasn't busy at all even on a weekend afternoon. It's clean and comfortable inside. Good amount of space. I got a poke bowl, my husband got ramen, and my kiddo got a kids corn dog. Our food was good. The fish in my poke was good quality and tasted fresh. The ramen was also good. We also got takoyaki and that was also good. Portions and prices are good. The only negative is my son's corn dog was frozen on the inside and they were quick to try and correct it but when they brought it back it was reheated but the inside was still cold. So it's been a while since we've had sushi. We're from Cali and have transplanted to Katy and have been looking for a good sushi bar. Boom we found it. Clean, fresh and great service. I like to sit at the bar and talk to my sushi chef, tonight it's Logan great chef and is very attentive. We started with sashimi maguro and eel (so good) then starter rolls (the basics) Cali roll and spicy tuna, fantastic! Then to the crunchy tempura and spider roll, outstanding. Great ramen. This was my first time eating here. The spicy was nice. Not too hot, not too weak. I also tried the mango sushi which was great also. The fruit teas are made with syrup instead of real fruit which was a little disappointing but it was still good. Prices are typical of most ramen places. read more
