We then ordered the stuffed jalapeño which was good except for that they drizzled peanut butter sauce all over it. All of these rolls were borderline falling apart and they all tasted bad in a very fishy way. This Place is TRASH!! I placed an order on the online app that was suggested per their website. The order was place at 11:15 and the delivery has taken over 1.5 hours. What was most concerning is that I've made several calls to get clarity on the status of the order and the lady was rude. This is one of the hidden gems in Katy. Little shop locate hidden in the shopping center. The right portion of sauce and rice and sea food makes my roll a perfect treat. Light and right amount is filling but not to a point that is over filling. The staff is really friendly and eager to please the customers. From greeting to presentation of the food was on point. Oh the parking is spacious, it is a small restaurant, so larger group may not fit. But the food is outrageous good. The ambient is perfect for a date night. A+++ experience. Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant one night. Got there 20 minutes before they closed but they still let us in and we didn't feel rushed at all even though we stayed there at least half an hour after they were closed. The cleanest place to dine in, point blank period. I absolutely loveddddd my meal. My waitress Fay, was amazing from start to finish and I really appreciate her patience with me. I never know what I want when it comes to sushi, but I decided to try the three roll lunch special and it was HUGE!! It came with some delicious miso soup and salad that was fresh, lightly dressed with some kind of tasty dressing. (Forgot to ask what it was..) It's so confusing and frustrating as I know that there could be a miscommunication between restaurant and delivery service at times. We have ordered takeout from Fuji Sushi for over a year now but have never physically sat down until this past week mainly due to Covid. Well we finally made a trip to the restaurant itself and my goodness, all prior five star reviews about this location are accurate! We were completely blown away by the food! I reviewed the wrong location before!! This Fuji Sushi located on Katy Mills Blvd is fantastic!! The staff is amazing, food is great, and the price is right!! The other Fuji Sushi was the one on 1963 I believe and they are terrible when it comes to customer service. This place is always a go-to for date night. The service is always great and the rolls are fresh and well made. Went on a random Wednesday evening because we'd be out running errands nearby. It's close to Katy mills mall, the shopping center had a good amount of traffic but this place was completely empty. We were the only ones in there at around 730pm. We sat at the bar and the sushi chef was sitting hidden behind, he got up and looked extremely bothered to see us there. The menu only had descriptions of specialty rolls but nothing for the items on the regular sushi menu which is on a plain piece of paper. It had a few things that would need more than common sense to know what it is, everyone knows what a salmon roll or a california roll would be but I wouldn't know what a crazy roll is without seeing a description. We just got a few simple things, which were ok but nothing spectacular. Everything seemed very small compared to other places we've been. I don't know if it was just that it was towards the end of the night and they didn't seem to want to have to take care of customers. Maybe they put forth more effort on the specialty rolls.
