Happies is located in Arts District and I came here on a Sunday dinner and didn't have any problems with parking. But, I can see how it might be hard to find if you come during peak hours. The restaurant was pretty empty. First thing I noticed was that there were tons of employees but no one really said anything. Since there was no one ordering, they were all standing around. You can just order at the kiosk but I wanted to ask a few questions but was kind of left to fend for myself. I ended up ordering the chicken tenders and chicken tenders with salad. I thought the restaurant ambience was nice. And after waiting for about 10 minutes, my order came out. They gave me extra sauce but again no explanation on why the extra sauce was provided. As for the food, I thought the chicken was kind of bland. I expected some Sichuan style but hardly any spice on the chicken. Once of the sauces was a Sichuan chili crisp, which gave the chicken more taste. Maybe the chicken was bland because I was supposed to dip it in the sauces? Aside from that, the other sauces were average (ranch and sweet/sour sauce). The salad was definitely a huge miss. They didn't dress the salad properly and only put dressing on top, so I just got a bunch of romaine lettuce at the end. The best part of my meal was the fries, which was crispy and fresh. Also, the fries were pretty generous. I think that the food was just average. Probably will not come back here but glad I came to check out what the hype was about.

I enjoyed the flavor here. The salad, and the fries were my favorite. The chicken had a really good…read morecrunch and flavor as well. I was hoping to return to them, but it looks like they are temporary closed.

The flavors lean authentic Mexican but with a level of care that makes each ingredient stand out on its own. You can tell someone in that kitchen is paying attention. What I appreciated most is that nothing felt overdone. The seasoning is confident without trying too hard, and everything tastes clean, balanced, and purposeful. It's also a great spot when you want something fast but still healthy and very well made, which is harder to find than it should be. It's the kind of place where you slow down a little because you don't want to miss what's happening in each bite. If you're looking for bold, thoughtful flavor without the gimmicks, this is an easy yes.

The menu here is comparable to a place like El Pollo Loco with the type of chicken, though I'm assuming the food is a bit of a higher quality. I ended up ordering a two piece chicken plate with my sides consisting of the Macaroni and Cheese as well as the Sweet Potatoes. I'm going to get the bad out of the way first, the Sweet Potatoes were kinda gross and it doesn't bring me joy to say that. They simply didn't taste good and I'm usually a fan of Sweet Potatoes. The Macaroni and Cheese was pretty solid, though on the runny side but did taste alright. The chicken itself was good, cooked well, on the juicy side, and the skin had solid flavour. Overall, I had a mixed experience with Wildbird. The food was not something I see myself craving, but at the same time it's also a place I want to give another try.

so so so so SO good. I got medium and the spice level was perfect for me. The lady at the register…read morewas saying how the difference between medium and the next level was big, so I played it safe with medium. She was also so sweet in helping us figure out what to order. We decided to order the chicken tenders, potato wedges, and the cheese curds. Absolutely no complaints. The chicken was SUOER crispy and super juicy. It's also huge, so next time I will be ordering two instead of three. I've also never had actual crispy potato wedges until trying this one as well. Even after finishing all my chicken, everything stayed crispy. The cheese curdles were also good. They're like mini mozzarella balls, nothing too crazy but still super delish. I will be making a return soon because this is so far, my top chicken place!!!

It's in downtown LA so parking i can't see where anyone could park here. They have a $2 chicken tenders on thursdays also. They had a lot of take-out orders so people must agree it's good quality food. Overall, yes i would be back and try the sando next time but this place is jamming good!! Go visit these guys and enjoy. I had been craving their chicken for a while, so I finally came back today. As always, there was a long line. At first, the line wasn't moving at all, which was a little frustrating, but fortunately, it started moving much faster soon after. I hadn't been here in years, so it was nice to come back after such a long time. The chicken is definitely tasty, but unfortunately, they grilled it a little too much this time and some of it was quite burnt. I guess that's partly because they grill the chicken directly on the grill. And, too spicy for me : both chicken and fries. Parking here is always a complete challenge because the parking lot is small and there are usually so many people. But my parking luck is always amazing -- cars somehow always seem to pull out right in front of me! And once again, today, a car pulled out right in front of me, so I was able to get a parking spot easily. It felt like another parking miracle! I asked for a cup of water, and he kindly gave me ice water. I also asked if I could have one extra plastic bag, and he gave me another one without any problem. The staff were very friendly, which was good. However, there's one thing to keep in mind when getting takeout here: the chicken is so oily that the grease can actually soak through and leak all over the plastic bag. You basically have to throw the first plastic bag away afterward. That's why I'm really glad I asked for an extra bag and brought one home with me. It definitely came in handy!
