Was craving a poke bowl for lunch and some Thai tea. Decided to stop here when I saw it on Google maps nearby, not realizing it was on the UTD campus. That said, it was reasonably priced for a poke bowl compared to many other places. I made it in before the rush, felt bad for the gentleman behind the counter he was the only one working and making bowls and drinks because they literally do it all. They have mochi ice cream, macarons, bubble tea, and poke bowls. I like the fact that to help funnel the rush they have a paper you fill out with all the options/toppings that you just hand to him when done and that's how you place the order for the bowl. So it was quick and easy to do. The fact that a bunch of people (not just students) came in right after my order lets me know it is a popular spot. All that to say I enjoyed my bowl as well. I got the two protein bowl and chose salmon and spicy tuna. With all the toppings and it was delicious. Definitely will go back if in the area. read more

For example mine is 4 protein (Salmon) White Rice Crab Meat Eel Sauce Cucumber & Masago Mixed in Spicy Mayo & Furakake topping. I went during UTD's winter break at around 11AM, the place was empty and very clean; I was helped immediately. I was happily surprised by the freshness of everything and the delicious taste of everything (I have been to other places where the fish tastes very fishy or the veggies have an odd taste). The reason for the 4 stars is due to the quantity of the food in the bowl. Both the rice and edamame seemed to be lacking (especially after I had to pay extra for the edamame which I haven't done before). At other places, you're able to see what they're putting in it, so you can request a little more ginger or a little more seaweed, but it's not very interactive. I'm definitely open to returning because the food was great quality! Next time I may try to be a little more vocal or request extra rice at the beginning. You should definitely try it out! read more

What a cute lil boba/poke spot in Richardson... it sits near the UTD campus and in a block of others shop including the famous Insomnia cookies. For a Sunday, the store was relatively busy. The staff were reserved - not too welcoming but interactive enough. I was honestly surprised by my poke bowl. I created my own bowl but they do have some premade choices you could choose from. My bowl was good and very filling. Wish they added a bit more ponzu sauce. but definitely no complaints. Also ordered a peach oolong tea which was also good. I did like their variety of boba drinks. They all looked so pretty and would definitely come back to try some of their others flavors. I did like how their boba cups are made of a harder plastic so it's not flimsy to hold. read more

They have an excellent variety of toppings, the ingredients are always fresh, and even the boba is among the best I've had. This is a hidden gem! I keep coming back here, and I've never had any complaints. I've had the poke and a variety of their sushi rolls. The fish is always very fresh! I was more than impressed when they handed me my order in a reusable insulated bag - nice touch! Who knew. On a long day on the roads of the southern US, I felt my tummy rumble. I knew it wanted some poke. It was time to feed it. So to satisfy my mighty seafood craving I decided to search for my raw fish provider. There behold was my savior. Fakuro. And Fak was it good From the previous history of happy customers, I felt safe with my choice. I walk in through the door, where I entered a quaint yet modern space, elevated by a large menu and many tables and chairs to pick from. The madam eagerly waited atop the cashier. I wasn't sure where to look her flashy Christian Dior top or the list of proteins options. But my tummy let out a mighty roar and I had to get to business. Her fingers began to dance on the keyboard pressing each and every little topping that my tummy desired. As someone with a rather large back, she continued to type for some time. But the workers were patient. Finally she got to print out my total and gave me a personalized ticket. To my surprise the prices were rather affordable but the food was fruitful. I began to enjoy my food and my tummy salivated in anticipation. Salmon rice seaweed and tamago. And who knew. The most pristine spicy tuna my tummy has ever encountered. Bite after bite, I was filled with joy. I looked back at miss Christian Dior in disbelief. WHO KNEW. This poke was breaking all the records in how delicious, fresh it was. I was safe. I was at home. On my way out the shop, I was experiencing a general sense of gratefulness and satisfaction from my tummy. She paused my exit offered me a bag. I said no. But who knew. They're pretty fast with constructing the order, and the place is really nice to sit down in when it's hot outside. Overall, it's okay but there's definitely better poke out there. The pricing is inexpensive, parking isn't difficult, and service is great. However, I've tried this place 3x and each time I've been disappointed. The salmon is tasty and doesn't taste too fishy, however, no matter how I customize the bowl, it somehow always tastes a bit offputtingly sweet? And the portion sizes aren't the best. The bowl is filling but only because of the amount of rice. The bowl itself is 25% fish, 15% toppings and like 60% rice. In order to get more fish you have to pay extra, which is understandable normally, but paying an extra dollar or two barely gets you any extra fish. I wouldn't recommend coming here for poke but the boba is solid I guess, its a bit watery but it's inexpensive, tastes good, and it's not too sweet (but if you want to, you can make it sweeter, or less sweeter, by adjusting the sugar level). read more

FINALLY!!! A delicious boba shop walking distance from UT Dallas campus that also serves delicious poke AND sushi! Located in Northside, Fukuro is an amazing place compared to the boba shop that once occupied this location. My friends and I customized our own poke bowls with unlimited mix-ins and toppings. Our bowls were absolutely delicious and fresh, with no fishy odors commonly found in other poke places. The portions are moderate and price is very reasonable compared to surrounding options. Their oolong boba milk tea was also fragrant and delicious - very comparable to surrounding big name chains and also much cheaper! The biggest thing that stuck out to me was how CLEAN and well organized this place was, very impressed with our overall visit! We'll definitely be back often. read more

I have only been here twice, but it has been impressive both times! I have had their Spicy Lover's Poke Bowl and Truffle Salmon sushi. I'm not sure if the server who worked last night was the owner, but the staff have been very respectful and pleasant each time I have visited. Service is fast and beautiful. Even if you get to-go, they carefully scoop the toppings on and don't skimp! The size of the bowls is pretty large. I didn't think I could finish the bowl at first, but I guess I was hungry and it was so delicious that I had to eat it all . I didn't know they had a separate sushi menu because it's sort of displayed off to the side and I had initially got it from the to-go section near the drinks. Next time I drop by, I will probably order the truffle salmon again! Something about the soy paper just does it for me.
