Custom bowl and creamy wasabi sauce on the side

I went during UTD's winter break at around 11AM, the place was empty and very clean; I was helped immediately. I was happily surprised by the freshness of everything and the delicious taste of everything (I have been to other places where the fish tastes very fishy or the veggies have an odd taste). The reason for the 4 stars is due to the quantity of the food in the bowl. Both the rice and edamame seemed to be lacking (especially after I had to pay extra for the edamame which I haven't done before). At other places, you're able to see what they're putting in it, so you can request a little more ginger or a little more seaweed, but it's not very interactive. I'm definitely open to returning because the food was great quality! Next time I may try to be a little more vocal or request extra rice at the beginning. You should definitely try it out!

This place would be getting 5stars if it wasn't for the customer service. It was honestly eh, I felt like I was in school ordering my lunch at the cafeteria with this interaction. It's a shame too because the food was delicious, fresh and flavorful !! Some of the best poke I've had. The ambiance is come hang out, do some home work, and enjoy a boba with poke and snacks. They also have free WiFi, limited seating.

What a cute lil boba/poke spot in Richardson... it sits near the UTD campus and in a block of others shop including the famous Insomnia cookies. For a Sunday, the store was relatively busy. The staff were reserved - not too welcoming but interactive enough. I was honestly surprised by my poke bowl. I created my own bowl but they do have some premade choices you could choose from. My bowl was good and very filling. Wish they added a bit more ponzu sauce. but definitely no complaints. Also ordered a peach oolong tea which was also good. I did like their variety of boba drinks. They all looked so pretty and would definitely come back to try some of their others flavors. I did like how their boba cups are made of a harder plastic so it's not flimsy to hold.

I've tried many different poke places in various cities, and Fukuro is my favorite by far! They have an excellent variety of toppings, the ingredients are always fresh, and even the boba is among the best I've had. The owner is so kind, and whenever I'm in town, I come visit this shop at least once a week.

Solid poke and boba place with solid pricing. I made my bowl w 2 proteins which was about $11 they give you a good amount that usually lasts me 2 meals, next time I would ask for them to separate my rice. I do like how you just fill out a sheet on paper to order your bowl so you don't have to say anything. Boba was also solid, a bit watery but overall good. Overall, nice place that I will visit often.

Mostly serving Japanese food, Fukuro is the rare but definitely welcomed combination of a restaurant that serves food and boba! Food includes poke bowls and sushi. Drinks include slushes, brewed teas, milk tea, brown sugar boba, Yakult, and cheese foam teas. Drink sizes come in medium or large (+$.75) and toppings include boba, oreo, pudding, jello, etc. Some toppings cost extra. I love that a lot of the items are gluten and lactose intolerant friendly, so my stomach didn't suffer at all! --Average Price(s): $ --Food: Custom 2 Protein Pokebowl ($10.99) I got brown rice, spicy tuna, chicken teriyaki, green onions, ponzu sauce, edamame, crab meat, and jalapeno mix! The portions were enough to have two meals out of one bowl. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and I felt energized after eating this. I usually feel sluggish because of how low my tolerance is for many foods so this was such a plus! I would drive 30 minutes to come here again. Large Orange Green Tea w/ boba ($6)-- I love milk tea but due to being intolerant, I've been reducing the amount of dairy I consume. Thus, I was super excited to see the fruit teas on the menu. This one wasn't as sweet or very sweet at all, but I got a lot of energy after drinking it and I'm sure this is why. It tasted almost purely like oranges! A great drink for those trying to reduce their sugar intake too. --Seating: they have a good amount of tables located inside, with some barstool seating along the windoand two tables outside. --Location: it's in a center in Richardson with several other food places and business. The neighborhood seemed pretty safe and relaxing. --Service: great! I was greeted upon entry and my order was ready by the time I got there (30 minute drive).

Love their poke bowls! Ingredients were fresh & tasty! Staff was very friendly & helpful!

I would spend my last 6$ on boba from this shop. It's that good! I have been a regular customer here for almost a year and I absolutely love their strawberry boba drinks. The staff are always very helpful and welcoming. I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you are a UTD student/boba enthusiast. Looking for some grub? They have bowls, sushi, and other snacks like ice cream mochi (one of my favorites) on their menu as well.

Overall, it's okay but there's definitely better poke out there. The pricing is inexpensive, parking isn't difficult, and service is great. However, I've tried this place 3x and each time I've been disappointed. The salmon is tasty and doesn't taste too fishy, however, no matter how I customize the bowl, it somehow always tastes a bit offputtingly sweet? And the portion sizes aren't the best. The bowl is filling but only because of the amount of rice. The bowl itself is 25% fish, 15% toppings and like 60% rice. In order to get more fish you have to pay extra, which is understandable normally, but paying an extra dollar or two barely gets you any extra fish. I wouldn't recommend coming here for poke but the boba is solid I guess, its a bit watery but it's inexpensive, tastes good, and it's not too sweet (but if you want to, you can make it sweeter, or less sweeter, by adjusting the sugar level).

Located in Richardson on the NE corner of E Arapaho and N Plano Rd, this location of Nora Asian Fresh is nestled between Best Donuts and a Nails & Spa. Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, this franchise has 15 locations in Arizona and 3 in Texas (Richardson, Plano, Austin). I'm not sure how long this location has been opened, but the very small shoppe corner that they're in appears to dated and doesn't scream "come have dine here". But as the old adage goes, looks can be deceiving. The dining area is simple yet inviting with the unique wood like vertical panels filling the entire far wall. There are no booths, just table and chair throughout. You place your order at the counter using the large digital menu on the wall. After placing your order you can help yourself to their drink station then pick your table. They will soon bring your meals to your table. As noted in their name, Nora Asian Fresh prides themselves on making everything fresh daily. I saw the young lady who was taking orders in the back making dumplings when I went to ask for take out containers. Their menu provides a nice mix of "fusion" dishes which really just means they have a little bit of everything. Their appetizer menu includes such items as eggrolls, edamame, dumplings, jalapeno poppers and squid salad just to name some. Their Bowl meals which come with steamed rice include orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, broccoli beef, pork katsu with curry, teriyaki salmon as well as poke or unagi bowls. On the Ramen & Asian list are miso, tonkotsu or seafood ramen, fried rice, chow mein chicken, chicken biryani, pad thai and Malaysian noodle. Finally there's a long list about 30 different sushi rolls. Jerry and J ordered the Orange Chicken Bowl. Katie tried the chicken fried rice. Jeanne got the Pad Thai and I tried the Malaysian Noodle (of course). We also tried their chicken egg rolls and chicken dumplings. Egg rolls and dumplings: Both were a tad overcooked and their skins were just a little too dry and crunchy. They should've been taken out of the fryer about 30 seconds earlier. The fillings were delicious and they were served with dipping sauces. Orange Chicken Bowl: Presentation was nice with fresh boiled broccoli in a large bowl. Both said it was good. J said "It was pretty good best I've had in a while. It wasn't too sweet and had good flavor." I tried some and I agreed. It was overly battered like some places like to make it and the taste on it was delicious. Not overly sweet and was even a little tart. Yom Yom Yom. It was a large portion, but J finished the entire bowl. Jerry and the rest of us had enough for another meal. Chicken fried rice: I didn't get to taste, but it looked good. Katie like everything about it except the way the chicken was cooked. Note that Katie is very particular about her the way she wants her chicken cooked. Also a large portion. Pad Thai: Noodles, shredded carrots, green onions tossed in a wok and garnished with fresh bean sprouts and crushed peanuts, Jeanne enjoyed it but was surprised they didn't ask how spicy she wanted it. Malaysian Noodles: I guessed from the photos in the menu that this was Char Kway Teow and I was right. It is a popular Malaysian stir-fried noodle dish using flat rice noodles. Their cook did an excellent job. It had a nice smoky with a savory sweet taste. It is tossed in a wok with eggs, bean sprouts, chives and in my case, shrimp. It was outstanding! Yom Yom Yom Yom. There are many other "Malaysian" dishes, but if you have to choose only one to put on your menu, this would be a good choice and they do it quite well. Personally I could eat there every week especially since they have so many other dishes to sample. But unfortunately I live 639 miles away. Thanks for a nice lunch Nora!

I'd like to start by saying this is some of my favorite gyoza I've ever had, including when I visited Japan. This is a must get. The sauce was delightful, the outside was perfect with a crunchy bottom and soft top, and the filling was delicious. Well worth $7. My bf got some calamari ring tempura, which was fine but we got a small portion compared to when we usually get calamari. There was only like 3 big rings and 2 small on the plate. I also got a Gyu sushi to try. Was it worth $4.50? Maybe, maybe not but I enjoyed it and it was a much higher quality than the beef sushi at say Kura. Now my Beef Yakisoba was questionable honestly. Smaller portion than I'm used to, the beef tasted awkwardly like hamburg and was chewy, and the sauce it was stir fried in was really sweet and thick, almost like honey. Someone might like it but for $18 it wasn't what I expected and wasn't to my tastes Bf got a Charashi bowl for $25 and stated it was mid as expected for the price. I think we would return, but IMO our food was a mixed bag.
