We came here for dinner on a Saturday, place was empty. The food was just okay. The ambience here was just bad. I think it's a family run restaurant, the woman/wife worked the front(you can see her in the picture below) she was not welcoming at all. The man/husband cooked in the back and they have a little boy and girl that were running around the restaurant. The woman and the kids yelled and talked super loud in the restaurant while we ate. It's not bad. We ordered the duck soup and spicy beef brisket soup, and both were about average for the price. The duck wasn't fresh and the spicy soup, while tasty, garnered most of its flavor from the heat rather than any spices. I also didn't see lots of menu selections on their actual menu that was listed on Yelp, such as the ramen. I'd go again, but likely only if passing by. read more

We did not mean to stumble upon this place since we just had Asian desert next door at mango mango but we saw this place had some good reviews so we decided to check it out. I am glad we did because it was delish. I had the veggie chow menu and the flavor balance is perfect! It had the perfect amount of saltiness, sweet and great noodle texture. My husband had the beef ramen and he love it as well! However, I felt like he enjoyed my chow mein more. Good thing is there's plenty of portion so we were able to share! My boyfriends Mom and I came for lunch after our nail appointment. First of all, the atmosphere is SO cute. There is a pretty wall mural that draws your attention when you first walk in and the booths along the wall have a different wall hanging. They're really SUPER cute. Sing my boyfriends Mom doesn't really explore or know too many asian stuff, she wanted to try someplace with me, I guess because she feels comfortable like that. She ordered us 4 sushi rolls to split and I ordered the lamb noodle soup. The sushi rolls were so good! We got a standard spicy tuna, a dragon roll, a plano roll and a refreshing avocado and peanut roll. It took longer than expected to get those rolls-- I ended up getting my bowl of noodle soup first. That was not a big deal, but I waited for my boyfriends Mom's sushi to come out so we can eat at the same time. The noodle soup was really tasty, although I could have used more broth in it, and I believe the noodles could have been cooked longer. They were just on the firmer side. I did not mind that the lamb still had bones it in, I was actually expecting a different cut of lamb-- maybe shaved? But it is okay, bones add to the flavor. What I did not like was the lamb still had a lot of skin and a lot of fat in my bowl. It just had a very unexpected mouth feel as I am chowing down. Another thing I did not care for was the lack of service. I had to stand up and walk to the counter to find the waitress for some water. And I did not like when I asked the waitress if I could use my YELP Check In offer ($10 off of $50) she said that they couldn't honor it right now. This is the second time that I placed an order that was made wrong. I really used to like this place and would take people there. I literally get the same thing for myself every time. I tried calling and the lady was super dismissive about it. Even though the last time I brought the wrong order back for her. I don't feel like spending my time, money, gas and effort to fix their mistakes after they continue to make it seem like it's my fault. In an effort to continue trying new noodle shops we stopped by Kungfu Noodle. Stopped by on a mid-lunch afternoon, it was cold and noodle soup sounded great. Tried the Crispy Chicken appetizer, Spicy Beef Noodle soup and Spicy Brisket Noodle soup. The spicy beef dish was perfect, tender cuts of beef and had a great zing. Crispy chicken had great flavor and was quite tasty. We couldn't finish it and enjoyed it just as much when we reheated it. Spicy Brisket was a complete miss. The brisket was very touch and riddled with chunks of fat. To add injury to insult it wasn't spicy at all. When asking the waitress to confirm she said it's not very spicy and to add chili paste if needed. Thought it was add as she made a point to confirm we both like it spicy when taking our order. We'll try it at least one more time because we both enjoyed the Spicy Beef and want to give a few more menu items a go. As a side note the menu that pops up on Yelp is not the same as offered on Kungfu Noodle. If you go to the Kungfu Noodle website it will be the correct menu. On Yelp it appears to be predominately ramen items which aren't offered at Kungfu Noodle. read more

The menu on here is a little misleading, as they do not have ramen anymore and their prices have gone up. The waitress was ok, she didn't really give good service and was very blunt and unwelcoming. I had gotten the braised beef and rice while my husband got the Spicy beef noodles, both which we were shocked lacked flavor. The broth for his noodles had 0 spice, just tasted like lightly seasoned hot water... The braised beef and rice was very disappointing as it too had little to no taste and the braised sauce was very runny. It was 90% rice and only had a few small pieces of beef. That said, the waitress was loudly talking on the phone the whole time, was inoffensive but not really positive or attentive. She was pretty much all business, and we felt like we were interrupting the downtime of the restaurant. We came after a lunch rush, evident by about four tables having dirty dishes and napkins. We both ordered stir fry noodles and got an order of their chicken appetizer; which was basically like an Asian fusion popcorn chicken. This place is very comfortable on all levels. Visiting quite often, we have tried most of the menu. I can honestly say (per their name) the noodles are the best option. Second to that would be their sushi rolls. Owners are very friendly. Talked with them briefly every visit. They always ask "how are you today?" One time I said, "Could be better." She brought over tea lol It's hard to own a business with so much competition. We come back here because we found a few favorite items, a comfortable place and friendly service. In the world of competition, at least there are a few places you don't have feel like a number, a review, or a committed rewards member. And they remember you and ask how you are today. I passed by this place so many times but I've never been in until today. I was a bit hesitant because I wasn't sure if they had vegetarian options. Fortunately they did and i was able to order a sweet potato roll and a vegetable noodle soup which was like eating pho. It was good and I really liked the sweet potato roll. And being vegetarian, sushi was never an option for me until I found they got vegetarian friendly rolls. Overall it was a good experience and I will be back. It had a variety of meats: chicken, shrimp & beef. It has to be a light broth because with all that meat it can very easily become an overwhelming taste. There are condiments on the table such as chili oil and Sriracha to add more flavor. The total was about $40 and we were very full ! I couldn't finish my soup even though i wanted to. I don't know that the food actually could have been any worse : / The fried pork dumplings weren't actually fried at all. The teriyaki "chicken" was dried chunks of unidentifiable, chewy meat over plain steamed vegetables. Again, stating that it was bad is a considerable understatement. Delicious is the only way to describe how good the noodles are! My husband is obsessed calamari and will order it everywhere we go. For me it is a hit or miss, but at Kungfu Noodle it was a complete hit! The calamari is served with the perfect sauce and was the perfect amount of crunch. For my dish I ordered the fresh homemade noodles and wish I didn't agree to share with my daughter. They were lick the plate good. They have a huge television above the bar, but it is playing a bunch of YouTube videos? That was slightly weird to me. Probably should just put the news on, or sports. The service was good. I was the only person there when I went, so the lady at the front seated me and helped me with the menu. With the ramen, you pick your meat (or no meat, they have a vegan option), and then you pick your broth. I choose chicken, with original Tonkotsu (pork) broth. The broth was good, but didn't have a full bodied meaty flavor to it. The chicken was pretty bland, and could have used some more seasoning. All the toppings were good, but my egg was served cold. I had to kind of dunk it around in the broth to warm it up. I was REALLY craving ramen, and this totally worked, but if I had time to drive farther to better spots, I would. It's almost like a tempura shrimp but instead it's wrapped with potato strings and deep fried. -Katsu curry 3/5- the curry and rice was actually really good but the chicken was a little dry and the breading kept coming off and got soggy quick in the curry sauce. -pork belly bowl 3/5: chopped up pork sautéed with onions on rice.
