Custom bowl and creamy wasabi sauce on the side

I went during UTD's winter break at around 11AM, the place was empty and very clean; I was helped immediately. I was happily surprised by the freshness of everything and the delicious taste of everything (I have been to other places where the fish tastes very fishy or the veggies have an odd taste). The reason for the 4 stars is due to the quantity of the food in the bowl. Both the rice and edamame seemed to be lacking (especially after I had to pay extra for the edamame which I haven't done before). At other places, you're able to see what they're putting in it, so you can request a little more ginger or a little more seaweed, but it's not very interactive. I'm definitely open to returning because the food was great quality! Next time I may try to be a little more vocal or request extra rice at the beginning. You should definitely try it out!

This place would be getting 5stars if it wasn't for the customer service. It was honestly eh, I felt like I was in school ordering my lunch at the cafeteria with this interaction. It's a shame too because the food was delicious, fresh and flavorful !! Some of the best poke I've had. The ambiance is come hang out, do some home work, and enjoy a boba with poke and snacks. They also have free WiFi, limited seating.

What a cute lil boba/poke spot in Richardson... it sits near the UTD campus and in a block of others shop including the famous Insomnia cookies. For a Sunday, the store was relatively busy. The staff were reserved - not too welcoming but interactive enough. I was honestly surprised by my poke bowl. I created my own bowl but they do have some premade choices you could choose from. My bowl was good and very filling. Wish they added a bit more ponzu sauce. but definitely no complaints. Also ordered a peach oolong tea which was also good. I did like their variety of boba drinks. They all looked so pretty and would definitely come back to try some of their others flavors. I did like how their boba cups are made of a harder plastic so it's not flimsy to hold.

I've tried many different poke places in various cities, and Fukuro is my favorite by far! They have an excellent variety of toppings, the ingredients are always fresh, and even the boba is among the best I've had. The owner is so kind, and whenever I'm in town, I come visit this shop at least once a week.

Solid poke and boba place with solid pricing. I made my bowl w 2 proteins which was about $11 they give you a good amount that usually lasts me 2 meals, next time I would ask for them to separate my rice. I do like how you just fill out a sheet on paper to order your bowl so you don't have to say anything. Boba was also solid, a bit watery but overall good. Overall, nice place that I will visit often.

Mostly serving Japanese food, Fukuro is the rare but definitely welcomed combination of a restaurant that serves food and boba! Food includes poke bowls and sushi. Drinks include slushes, brewed teas, milk tea, brown sugar boba, Yakult, and cheese foam teas. Drink sizes come in medium or large (+$.75) and toppings include boba, oreo, pudding, jello, etc. Some toppings cost extra. I love that a lot of the items are gluten and lactose intolerant friendly, so my stomach didn't suffer at all! --Average Price(s): $ --Food: Custom 2 Protein Pokebowl ($10.99) I got brown rice, spicy tuna, chicken teriyaki, green onions, ponzu sauce, edamame, crab meat, and jalapeno mix! The portions were enough to have two meals out of one bowl. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and I felt energized after eating this. I usually feel sluggish because of how low my tolerance is for many foods so this was such a plus! I would drive 30 minutes to come here again. Large Orange Green Tea w/ boba ($6)-- I love milk tea but due to being intolerant, I've been reducing the amount of dairy I consume. Thus, I was super excited to see the fruit teas on the menu. This one wasn't as sweet or very sweet at all, but I got a lot of energy after drinking it and I'm sure this is why. It tasted almost purely like oranges! A great drink for those trying to reduce their sugar intake too. --Seating: they have a good amount of tables located inside, with some barstool seating along the windoand two tables outside. --Location: it's in a center in Richardson with several other food places and business. The neighborhood seemed pretty safe and relaxing. --Service: great! I was greeted upon entry and my order was ready by the time I got there (30 minute drive).

I would spend my last 6$ on boba from this shop. It's that good! I have been a regular customer here for almost a year and I absolutely love their strawberry boba drinks. The staff are always very helpful and welcoming. I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you are a UTD student/boba enthusiast. Looking for some grub? They have bowls, sushi, and other snacks like ice cream mochi (one of my favorites) on their menu as well.

Overall, it's okay but there's definitely better poke out there. The pricing is inexpensive, parking isn't difficult, and service is great. However, I've tried this place 3x and each time I've been disappointed. The salmon is tasty and doesn't taste too fishy, however, no matter how I customize the bowl, it somehow always tastes a bit offputtingly sweet? And the portion sizes aren't the best. The bowl is filling but only because of the amount of rice. The bowl itself is 25% fish, 15% toppings and like 60% rice. In order to get more fish you have to pay extra, which is understandable normally, but paying an extra dollar or two barely gets you any extra fish. I wouldn't recommend coming here for poke but the boba is solid I guess, its a bit watery but it's inexpensive, tastes good, and it's not too sweet (but if you want to, you can make it sweeter, or less sweeter, by adjusting the sugar level).

Really excellent store. If I want a fairly priced poke bowl with a ton of meat, I come here to buy it. Also the bubble tea is amazing.

HIDDEN GEM! This place is a sleeper hit waiting to blow up. i can't believe this place is in…read moreAddison. If this was located in downtown Dallas it would make way more sense. I've been to Michelin starred omakases (including tempura omakases) in Japan and New York, and this place honestly meets or comes extremely close to fitting the bill in terms of food and service. At the Michelin restaurants, you pay almost double the price for high quality ingredients, stellar service, ambiance, and a Japanese toilet :P For $100 pp for the tempura omakase at Takumi Hachi, you leave feeling full and satisfied, with a great selection of light and deliciously fried fritters. Each person gets a bowl of their divinely delicious tempura sauce with a generous amount of shaved daikon (not even lying when i say this is my favorite tempura sauce i've had, i could've just drank it on its own) and a selection of salts, with each course given a recommendation of which salt to use. In terms of ambiance: frankly speaking, if it was just the counter service omakase, i'd say it would feel more stuffy and unapproachable. But there is a general seating area that is not counter service where you can order off the menu for sushi, robata, and a la carte options. No dress code enforced or recommended, so you can be dining with all sorts of patrons with different sizes of families and children. whether or not this is your jam, it's still an extremely accessible place to dine for anyone and everyone. Reservations were incredibly easy to make (tempura omakase only From Sunday thru Thursday). Service was really kind and attentive, my husband's water literally never went below half empty. The only thing to take service to the next level is if they cleaned/wiped your plate/gave you a new plate between each course. American toilet. Lol. That's neither here nor there, but the bathroom is very clean lol! They were also sweet enough to read my reservation note for the occasion for dining and gifted us a delicious strawberry mousse, accompanied with a surprise tableside matcha to end the meal. I'm already looking forward to try their kaiseki set meal next time, and know that this place is a top contender to take my friends or loved ones for special occasions. I can't speak much for their sushi, but I added on some robata and grill menu items to the omakase and they were fantastic. Highly recommend the maitake mushroom tempura add on to your course. If you order ebi sushi, they offer to take the head once you're done eating the sushi and either put it in a miso soup or fry it for you, which i thought was a wonderful option. Also, we got tempura anago, something I've never had anywhere else, served two different ways. That alone was enough to make this experience stand out. For an experience like I had tonight, I felt as if the restaurant should be more full. Maybe because it is tucked away behind the other chain restaurants in Addison that are a little easier to see. Don't hesitate if you see the price tag, I definitely think you get a great value for food, service, and experience. We were there for two hours and enjoyed it very much. Thank goodness i don't have to drive all the way to downtown Dallas to enjoy some delicious Japanese food without the headache and hassle of finding parking and an accessible reservation.

The left side/entrance area does have a bleach/cleaner type smell but I didn't notice it further into the restaurant. We did the Kaiseki Omakase. Staff is super friendly and explained every step of the experience. Like all courses meals - smaller portions but overall left super full. The clay pot was actually a huge portion as both of us ended up getting two bowls worth. Pacing of the meal was solid, kept it moving but didn't feel rushed at all. We were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a sweet treat as well at the end which was so appreciated! Would definitely recommend for a special occasion

The hamachi carpaccio and soy garlic edamame had really nice sauces, although my friend thought the actual edamame wasn't cooked as perfectly as some other places cook theirs. The presentation is beautiful! But the food itself was pretty lackluster for the cost. I got a variety set and my bf got the seared salmon set. Admittedly I've been to Aji-Kiji in San Francisco so my standards for boxed sushi omakase level was very high. Aji-Kiji was more elevated from the tiny building room to the food presentation, however the price was great too. Here it felt cheap in a few areas yet the price is the same level as them. The rice isn't the best and by extension, the rolls aren't perfect. I can get over that though, just picky due to the cost. Next, the fish was fishy. It was enough to make me worried if I could get sick. I ended up being fine, but honestly this place is just average sushi made to look better than it is

As i listed to idle conversation with people, everyone seemed to be remarking how good the food was so im sure it wasnt just me. Their all you can east isnt advertised on the menu so i had to ask for it personally but the minute i did they had a sheet ready! You mark down all the things you want. Ill live write out my review as i receive and eat things: 1. Ahi tower is one of the best things ive ever eaten. it brings SO MUCH fish and crab. I really thought it would be mostly rice but nope. GREAT portion and SUPER delicious. will be thinking about it for a while 2. Ninja roll.. AGAIN how is it so good? perfect amount of spicy!! also they somehow made the salmon on top creamy? 3. Yokohoma roll had less flavor than the ninja but it felt fresher! its perfect for when u want fish but not too much flavor 4. Washing roll was surprisingly so good!! everything ive had so far has been FANTASTIC but i normally hate krab. they mixed it in a way that made is actually really yummy?! almost bbqy but idk how to describe it 5. eel avocado roll might be my favorite? it had a LOT of flavor. ill be honest it didnt taste much like EEL but more like whatever sauce they put on it. it wasnt sweet at all which is nice considering eel usually is be warned anything you dont finish will be chard a la carte so make SURE u dont order as much as me because i couldnt finish what i ordered The place itself is cold (which is a big plus for me when im eating) and looks like a family spot. idk how to describe it but you can just tell its a couple familys go to sushi place. theres tons of parking outside too! They also have a spot for you to sit on the sushi bar to watch the chefs cook! it was really cool and i even saw a couple people request to be sat there Everyone was so sweet and attentive i loved it :)
